bewla: Oga let them have a pay cut. The cost of governance is one of the many problems we face as a nation. If this is done and all agencies, institutions and government parastatals are duly aggregated with fair sharing there would be no issue. But they (govt) are saying that they do not have the funds to pay others but same funds are available to bank roll their expensive and extravagant lives. Who is fooling who here? 4 Likes 1 Share |

nlfpmod: What have the lecturers and professors in these universities contribute to the society. Teach students well to understand and comprehend - they no do, do research and impact to society- they no do. But rather engaging students in sex and taking money for grades. These are pathetic set of people, do not even want to call them professionals. Before anyone spew garbage on what I wrote, I was a professor for many years overseas where research and scholarly work are the basis for promotion and salary increase. Let one of these lectures and professors provide a single thing they have contributed for their many years of work sitting down, selling their own notes, no research, and degrading the noble profession. 10 Likes 2 Shares |

I do understand ASUU position but nowhere you get %100 increase. Inflation will wipe out the economy. I believe ASUU can be reasonable and make their demands incremental over 3 years to allow the economy absorb the shocks of excess cash flow without correspondence increase in production cos government giving in to their demand will kill off 9ja economy that is already on life support.
