economic reasons are hindering them. Like the others before you, you don't know jack about what you are saying. Even the online your wife is doing, when regulatory officials catch her you will know was up. I hope they catch you soon. Rubbish
lol

Easy on the guy.. His story no add up

Guy shut up! I was working in Ekiti then in the Bank. Do you expect my wife to leave me and come to Lagos to be doing catfish business. People's realities are different and stop been all over the place just to make misplaced points. Most of your business ideas look good on paper but are not realistic at all. I can bet u are a failure in business but just trying to console your self over here. It further buttresses my point that u are a small boy. Let me ask u are u married sef?
dude you aren't

oga your stories get lots of holes... Catfish I see a lot of people bring fish from maiduguri smoked and packaged and sell in Lagos

Dude your story no dey enter at all... Find another story spin
The your write up no get head or tail. I am even showing your fellow Igbo business man who is here in Aberdeen your write ups and he is just making a mockery of your illusions.

I am an igbo man and Business is in me

Your wife made a very bad decision.. She couldn't scale her business in Ekiti.. If they can't price her catfish in Ekiti she should try Lagos market period... Must she sell life catfish. Why can't she process it. If I am to even run a catfish business I will do that in Ekiti... Why?

Cheap labour... Ekiti will not be my market! I don't need to sell for the guys in Ekiti, I need to seek the clients in Lagos, Abuja, onitsha, Port Harcourt... I don't know why people find these basic business instincts hard.

Let me break it down... Bangladesh produces lots of clothes... They don't look at Bangladesh marhet but American and European market... That is what is called market survey and consumer response

Your wife and you did badly... You produce cat fish in Ekiti, you have access to cheap labour, cheap taxation and cheap cost of production what a smart entrepreneur will do is open up distribution channels in major market and penetrate it with reasonable prices. It is called go to market approach and you must also know that for you to do such a distribution you must add value. So the value here isn't selling raw catfish.. Any idiot can do that.. You must process it, have it smoked to a good way and get the packaging right... She can even be supplying overseas

Dude you have internet use it to do marketing and hit the grounds running... All these wey you dey give na excuse sir. The marejt dynamics have changed and trust me...

I can bet you that your wife doesn't have a catfish farm in that place you guys are... You can't do such a business there... Without having the facilities like coldroom etc. Oyibo no de do point and kill.... Abeg
see now oo..SEBI na business man be this. They will dump everything on naija. Yea naija is bleeped but a true businessman makes the most out of even critical situations with the resources at hand. If it was easy, monkey sef go be boss na. We wey Sabi dey talk, the guy dey talk age. If you like be 90, if you are not a good business person you are not. A sharp business minded 18 year old will get better result with same resources a 90 year old without acumen would. Case in point one guy on Nairaland back in the day, Ymodulus

you are stupid. I made that money by working my ass off in a private company. I saved, racked my brain, I invested, and kept at it and I'm still keeping at it, and I got my desired result. Not as much as a loan or grant. I owe Nigeria nothing. If anything, Nigeria owes me, cos it earns from me, and i'm reducing its unemployment figures. Can't say same for you, troll . Blame your dullness for your life's woes.
Did not see these. You are a bastard, criminal and a bloody opportunist. You type can only thrive in a zoo which is what Nigeria currently but hopefully with Tinubu coming in things should change. No wonder u are insulting the UK or US because u would have ended up in jail by now for evading tax. See how this monkey is trying to justify tax evasion/ reaping off a system. Business man my foot. BLOODY INGRATE AND TAX EVATOR!!!

I don't know of anybody else o but me I will make it big in this UK and it will happen. A very stable and fair environment. A system that works for all. That is the foundation to start with and not one jankara system without structure that has been bastardized by Threadway and Co.

I will still go back to Nigeria in the future to help build it after fully fortifying myself here and not just reap it off. That is not life. We need to build solid systems and institutions not one-offs successes here and there and they will come and spew thrash that Naija is heaven. Very selfish and wicked people.

grin grin Bob d builder. Funny thing is you still won't learn, you will come back with money but no naija knowledge of business and still wail again about how you came back and invested and still lost money, and the cycle continues. I have read of those cases too. Please do yourself a favour and stay there and do jobs, you will still achieve good things. You don't strike me as someone who has what it takes to do this. Cheers from the bottom of my heart.

also the correct phrase is Ripping off, not Reaping off. Even in the 'abroad' why aren't your spellings better sad ? Maybe in a year sha.

first I haven't been spewing gibberish, your understanding no just carry am. Why am I correcting him?? Spelling mistakes can happen to anyone whilst typing, I know. I was just correcting him noni. So he knows there is no such word as EVATOR, and also that reaping and ripping are different, just as their and there are different. No harm intended, just light correction.

you'd have to be quite dim in brain and sight not to see the argument/facts shared. Last I checked, there is an actual rule against poorly worded sentences and misspellings on Nairaland. Who the f are you to tell me who I can correct and when? I just saved some people from picking up EVATOR as a valid word, and you are here convulsing. Face the argument too, follow your advice!
