No now. Tinubu came with the Portuguese. He is the creator of Lagos. Every other person from Jakande to Otedola, Marwa down to Sanwo Olu are all watching brief.

The truth is bitter bro, a state that just seized to be federal capital in 1991 should not claim any glory of being more developed than others, federal projects are still littered there, Murtala Muhammed Airport, Tincan Island Whart, Apapa wharf, the third mainland bridge was constructed by IBB, so stop boasting about Lagos, boast with other South Western States

Nice development, but the Blue rail project by Tinubu’s CCECC have been dragging for years like the Lokoja-Abuja highway contract.Suddenly 2023 election is here, then they revisited it again.

A lots of Lagos feeder roads are in terrible conditions and needs more attention than this project. So why the haste to commence the 4th Mainland bridge when the afore major project has not been completed?

They won't actually build anything.

What they will just do is pay compensation (for appropriated lands) award contract & partially mobilise funds, thus tying down the next admin with a bad contract and shady expenditure. Of course the associated kickback is humonguous and that's exactly what Sanwo and his balabu master need for election and their hedonistic lifestyles.

You may not be wrong.

However, PDP did same with revitalizing the Warri-Itakpe Railway, fixing the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Constructing the 2nd Niger Bridge etc, today they are all a reality...that is why government is said to be a continuum.

Believe it or not, no government is near the audacity of the government of Lagos in Nigeria...we must give it them.

Projects embarked upon by LASG are usually massive, little wonder their budget is nearing N2trillion....around 40% or so, of what Jonathan's last budget for the entire country was.

Is electricity a Lagos problem or a National problem? Dumb statement.

You obviously don't know the magnitude of this project or are just willfully ignorant. The road to my base in Lagos has been bad for more than five years. I can gladly wait for another 5-10 years before govt. fixes the road if they can deliver 4th Mainland Bridge within the same period. At least 50% of all congestions will be reduced. I'm certain of that.

Contrary to mass belief, electricity is actually NOT a National problem. There are states and cities in Nigeria that enjoy (at least) 16 hours of steady supply daily. But you wouldn't know that because you do not travel. You sit in the confines of your small environment and push lethargic theories, simply because Nairaland (the hotbed of fake news and tribal extremists) told you so.

Quite sad!

WHY NOT TINUBU?

Well it was always him when he dropped his Senate Presidential Ambition in 1993 so that Abiola from same SW could have a brighter chance to secure the Presidential ticket of the SDP. It was always him,
after the annulment of June 12, 1993 Presidential election, and Abiola needed to attend a meeting with the military junta, it was always him.

Yes, it was always him when his Ikoyi house was bombed by the junta. It was always him when the military government took over his assets

all because of his defence of June 12 Presidential election. It was always him when he dressed like a imam to escape from Nigeria to Benin Republic. And when snippers went to his hotel room in cotonou but he narrowly escaped, it was always him.

By the way, where was the nutty professor when we were struggling for June 12? He must be in Eddie Murphy's country at that time. So it was always him.

When Tinubu was financing NADECO as narrated by Soyinka, attested to by Ladoja, it was always him.

It was always him who had his wife and children living far away from him, far from the life he planned to live as ExxonMobil Executive. It was always him.

And as the Governor of Lagos State at a time when Lagos was a jungle, him it was who deviced means of
generating mega revenue to build a mega city, it was always him.

When PDP rigged all elections in the SW and captured all SW states, it was him that rescued Lagos from PDP's jaws through which he eventually rescued the chunck of the SW. All this period,
where was the nutty history professor who specialises in inciting youths with war related history?

It was only Jagaban who organised a Charismatic voice for the opposition before the merger that eventually swept the PDP away in 2015. It was only him who developed politically,
many big names in the politics of SW today and to some extent, Nigeria.

It was only him who formed political party without contesting in that party but used it to elevate others regardless of tribe and religion.

It was only him who assets were targeted during the ill fated politically motivated endsars riot. It was only him that endsars hoodlums were looking for all over the world to kee.

Among those contesting for President today, it is only him that is contesting for the first time
since 2007!!!! Is this what is defined as greed?

And when the nutty professor said "Tinubu always asks for votes", yes he asked for votes for Buhari and Osinbajo, for Fashola, for Gbajabiamila the Speaker, for Aregbesola, for Ambode, For Ajimobi, for Lawan as Senate President,
for Fayemi, for Akeredolu, for Amosun, For Oyetola, for Abiodun, for Oshiomhole, for David Lyon, for Abdulrahaman, for Sanwo-Olu etc etc etc.......

It is only him who have been asking for votes to elevate others since 2007, there is nobody who does that, it is only him.
It is only him who lobbied GCFR for MKO but himself has no national honours. It is only a selfless patriot to cares for others and forget his own needs.

Him it was who lobbied JUNE 12 to replace MAY 29 as democracy day. I hope Nutty Professor understands this.

If a man like ASIWAJU BOLA AHMED TINUBU says EMI LOKAN, it is 100% absolute statement of merit, after serving all, it is time make a case for himself.

Because Pele na Brazil legend, you fit still call am make he play football for brazil because he don try for them, lubbish.

The toll gate income will be shared by the Chinese builders of the project and the Lagos State government treasury. Without the income stream from those toll gates, there can be no new bridge construction simply on account of the project's enormity.

Majority (yes I say majority) of Nigerians are criminal minded they will collect loan from bank and they will not want to repay.. the rate of nonperforming loan today in our bank is alarming...
There's a lot of pressure already from government to deposit money Bank to make loan accessible to the general public... It's true that government should work on a single interest rate... That I agree with you..

The easiest way to get loan today, is from your salary account...

The llast time I traveled to Lagos it was hellish. Many of the roads along my paths were under construction and I was wondering why the state has to open up many roads to construction at the same time leaving its residents in pains and anguish, and now they want to start this without first completing those ones. I always thank God I am currently out of Lagos pains.

Correcto-mundo. This is precisely what I am saying. That is a gigantic sum of money by any yardstick, and the Lagos State government alone could never come up with that kind of money without international partners chipping in large sums as well.

Infrastructure yet poverty capital
The true report of poverty is not reported in the state
After u build 3rd or even 7th mainland bridge
Will the people eat it
No jobs
No drinking water in a whole state
No housing
No inner roads
No light
Yet they glorify their oppressors.
