Komu1048: The truth is bitter bro, a state that just seized to be federal capital in 1991 should not claim any glory of being more developed than others, federal projects are still littered there, Murtala Muhammed Airport, Tincan Island Whart, Apapa wharf, the third mainland bridge was constructed by IBB, so stop boasting about Lagos, boast with other South Western States |

Racoon: They won't actually build anything. What they will just do is pay compensation (for appropriated lands) award contract & partially mobilise funds, thus tying down the next admin with a bad contract and shady expenditure. Of course the associated kickback is humonguous and that's exactly what Sanwo and his balabu master need for election and their hedonistic lifestyles. 1 Like |

Validated: You may not be wrong. However, PDP did same with revitalizing the Warri-Itakpe Railway, fixing the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Constructing the 2nd Niger Bridge etc, today they are all a reality...that is why government is said to be a continuum. Believe it or not, no government is near the audacity of the government of Lagos in Nigeria...we must give it them. Projects embarked upon by LASG are usually massive, little wonder their budget is nearing N2trillion....around 40% or so, of what Jonathan's last budget for the entire country was. 2 Likes |

BannedUser: Contrary to mass belief, electricity is actually NOT a National problem. There are states and cities in Nigeria that enjoy (at least) 16 hours of steady supply daily. But you wouldn't know that because you do not travel. You sit in the confines of your small environment and push lethargic theories, simply because Nairaland (the hotbed of fake news and tribal extremists) told you so. Quite sad! 1 Like |

babajero: Just like the countless projects that useless and incompetent man abandoned, he canceled the 4th MB project and eventually abandoned it altogether. Metro Rail is not finished because the useless man abandoned it for 4 years. You, people, know nothing about Lagos, but you still add your lying mouth to embarrass yourselves. You need to stay out of Lagos business and mind your village activities, 3 Likes 1 Share

Majority (yes I say majority) of Nigerians are criminal minded they will collect loan from bank and they will not want to repay.. the rate of nonperforming loan today in our bank is alarming... There's a lot of pressure already from government to deposit money Bank to make loan accessible to the general public... It's true that government should work on a single interest rate... That I agree with you.. The easiest way to get loan today, is from your salary account... |

Racoon: The llast time I traveled to Lagos it was hellish. Many of the roads along my paths were under construction and I was wondering why the state has to open up many roads to construction at the same time leaving its residents in pains and anguish, and now they want to start this without first completing those ones. I always thank God I am currently out of Lagos pains. |

Curious345: Correcto-mundo. This is precisely what I am saying. That is a gigantic sum of money by any yardstick, and the Lagos State government alone could never come up with that kind of money without international partners chipping in large sums as well. |
