Eniitankorede:Old man can you please tell me who built the third mainland bridge that connected Lagos state. Though credits should be given to jakande and babangida. You said Lagos money, can you please tell me the new things that was done to generate money in Lagos than the ones that have already been put on ground by the federal government before handing over, eg seaports, businesses, transportation and night life. |

Golan007:really Anambra a shit hole? I didn't know that, because it will be hard to see a state that was completely devastated during the Biafran war to rise up from the ashes and surpassed many states in Nigeria with little or no federal government assistance. Apart from Lagos state I don't see any south western states comparing with Anambra in anything or whatsoever. |

plaindealer:it was only during Ambode that Lagos really worked according to the finances it generate, within just 4 years he did what others couldn't do for 8 years without borrowing, and it was during his time that the 4th mainland bridge really got a landmark. |

babajero: Stop asking me foolish question. Who built the first niger bridge for you? And why has that not translated to increased IGR for Onitsha and Asaba? Do you not have federal presence in your states? Why have you not utilised that to increase business and IGR in your state? 1 Like |

Re: Lagos Moves Fast To Build $2.5 Billion 4th Mainland Bridge by Christistruth00: 2:06pm On Nov 29, 2022 |
babajero: In those days all Major Bridges were built by the Nigerian Government Including the ones at Jebba, Onitsha.,Idah, Lokoja It was Awolowo that built Ikeja and it’s Surroundings out of a Thick Jungle that was Swarming with Antelopes, Monkeys , Leopards, Gorillas And Elephants Into the Commercial Capital of the Western Region , Under Awolowo Ikeja Division included all the Lagos Coast outside Lagos Island The Dream that made Lagos into an Economic Power was Awolowo’s Dream and in 1962 Awolowo was Jailed for that Dream .Below is the 1962 Map Of Lagos The dot at the bottom was where the Capital Was all the rest was under the Western Region You can see that more than 97% of Today’s Lagos was in Awolowo’s Western Region 2 Likes

You mentioned Lekki Peninsula, Oshodi, Ikeja and Gbagada..hence my question: Which of the Lagos state administrations developed these areas you mentioned? You also claimed that Tinubu opened up every part of Lagos. How did Tinubu administration open up almost every party of Lagos? Was every part of Lagos closed before? |

Jogs1900: What was the development recorded in Lagos between 1999 and 2007 under Tinubu? How is Tinubu responsible for the developments witnessed in Lagos since 1999 till date? What foundation did Tinubu lay? How is possible that Tinubu "installed" successors? Is Tinubu a democrat? What was Tinubus vision for Lagos state? |

Where such development would have intense meaning to the lives of the people...... If the money is there, them why run more debt... ....my ish is the maintenance .....and the cry that it'll belong to APC........ Like I don't pay taxes |

CheapHomes1:How did Tinubu administration open up every party of Lagos? https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.vanguardngr.com/2022/09/how-bola-tinubus-achievement-as-lagos-governor-may-take-him-to-aso-rock-in-2023/amp/ There's little to no economic activities going on in places like Ikorodu, Badagry and the Lekki Peninsula before the arrival of Asiwaju and his boys. Without Asiwaju Victoria Island would have been covered by the Atlantic Ocean, but Asiwaju put an end to the Victoria Island getting washed away. https://www.ekoatlantic.com/education/sea-wall/ Click on this link and educate yourself about how Asiwaju was able to safe Victoria Island and some part of Lekki from been overrun by the Atlantic Ocean. The LFTZ was created by Asiwaju https://allafrica.com/stories/200605120070.html Obasanjo even praise him for creating the Lekki free trade zone https://www.nairaland.com/7193083/tinubu-china-woo-investors-lekki Look at Tinubu going to China to woo investors Look at one of the result today https://lekkiport.com/ Was every part of Lagos closed before? There was no where in my comment I said every part of Lagos was close You can show me where I said every part of Lagos was close though. Also, who are Tinubus boys? Fashola, Ambode and Sanwo Olu are Tinubu boys, they all served under him and they are following his blueprint. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.vanguardngr.com/2022/07/tinubu-best-candidate-to-drive-nigeria-to-prosperity-says-fashola/amp/ When one of his boys deviate from the Lagos master plan, am sure you still remember how it ended up for him https://guardian.ng/news/why-i-dumped-ambode-tinubu/ I don try to answer your questions Who's your own candidate? |

Christistruth00:You are right. When my dad car was stolen in 1995, nah somewhere around Ajah axis the car was retrieve back then. Most part of Ajah nah bush. I wander why people don't like giving kudos to the APC Govt in Lagos for what they have done in Lagos. Lagos State is far develop than how it was before the arrival of Asiwaju. 1 Like |

Parachoko: If you claim that Tinubu opened up every part of Lagos, then you are implying that every part of Lagos was closed before Tinubu became governor. Once again, you are repeating yourself clearly showing you probably don't understand the question I asked or you simply don't have an answer. The keyword here is "opening every part of Lagos". Are the places you mentioned above "every part of Lagos"? The instances you gave above, how do they translate to "opening every part of Lagos"? In what capacity did fashola, ambode and Sanwo-Olu serve under Tinubu that makes them his boys? Is there anywhere in the constitution that says that I am supposed to have a candidate? Who has the constitutional responsibility of having a candidate? Once again....You also claimed that Tinubu opened up every part of Lagos. How did Tinubu administration open up every party of Lagos? Was every part of Lagos closed before? |
