Buharri also promised same and Tinubu advised him not to.

Buhari never promised to remove fuel subsidy.

You wanted them to let Jonathan remove the subsidy and then use the dollars saved to fund his re-election with more Dasuki funds channeled through Peter Obi's Fidelity Bank?

Did the Jonathan regime show any preparation to cushion the effect of the removal?

Yes you are right GEJ was corrupt. God knows i did not like the man

But removing subsidy was the right decision then. And if GEJ had not removed subsides on kerosene and diesel by now we would have been funding our budget with loans and loans alone

Can we just stop the lies all because of politics?
What brought about SURE-P?
Yes we know you want your party to win the election but you don't have to tell blatant lies as if nairalanders are kids.
Okay, didn't Buhari promise to remove subsidy also, what exactly is the reason for the delay?

They didn't want it removed because of corruption.... I see.

Then its saint Tinubu, The man who hates drugs, and bullion vans..
The man who never deals with touts and henchmen, whose men are not in the present government where animals swallow money..

That will remove it, because he isn't corrupt..

I agree 100% percentage , poor have zero benefits from fuel subsidy

Infact not only should fuel subsidy be removed VAT charges of 15% should be included

But when Peter obi was part of the national economic team in 2014 pushed for it to be removed nearly 10 years ago Tinubu stood against it

It took Tinubu 10 years to understand what Peter obi understood 10 years ago ...so probably it would take Tinubu 10 years to understand Peter obi is the best candidate

if tinubu is promising to remove subsidy, why did he oppose it when jonathan wanted to "remove" it?

Since when?
You that organised people to occupy Nigeria because of this same subsidy removal need to be stoned.
One even called subsidy a fraud because of personal interests.
You intentionally misled and incited the masses for your own gain now the rooster has come home.

Some people would almost kill Tinubu if they can

Two things Tinubu said that would upset many

Nigeria would remove subsidy by force

Nigeria would generate electricity with Coal as Global warming isn't our business but cheap power

Obasanjo in his letter said Obi was like a Needle with a thread...

Even Obasanjo knows nobody can control Tinubu

.

and yet the same tinub who opposed removal of subsidy under jonathan is promising to remove subsidy

How will you stop Nigeria from borrowing? How will you pay back the humongous borrowed money? How will you raise money to run government without borrowing or inflicting more hardship on the poor masses?
These are the questions Tinubu shld address if he wants to be voted for ,now that Nigeria economy is zero.
