Why Obasanjo Wants To Stop Tinubu From Becoming The President of Nigeria

Baba Iyabo, former President Olusegun Obasanjo does not want to see another Yoruba man become the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in his life time.
He conspired and connived to stop the great Obafemi Awolowo from becoming President in 1979 by handing over power to the choice of the Arewa Mafia, Alhaji Shehu Shagari and did not do anything to stop the annulment of the 1993 presidential election won by Chief MKO Abiola and then the Arewa Mafia rewarded him by rigging the 1999 presidential election to favour him and ensured he became the President of Nigeria making him the first Nigerian to become both military Head of State and civilian President of Nigeria.
He wanted to prevent Major General Muhammadu Buhari from the same achievement, but Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu helped Buhari to achieve it by winning the 2015 presidential election.

Obasanjo is afraid of Tinubu becoming the second Yoruba President of Nigeria and achieving what Obasanjo failed to achieve. But unfortunately for Obasanjo, he is not Almighty God who is the only one who can judge Tinubu and decide his destiny.

Unfortunately for Peter Obi, the endorsement by Obasanjo is not out of love or patriotism, but out of jealousy and envy of Tinubu who has achieved more for the Yorubas than Obasanjo.
Obasanjo as the President of Nigeria wanted to frustrate and hamper the administration of Tinubu as the Governor of Lagos State from 1999-2023. But Obasanjo failed woefully.

Obasanjo is a nuisance. He cannot talk about patriotism.
He is chronic election rigger. He was never interested about true democracy.

Only God knows how many political assassinations during his presidency.
