Because the land space in the south east is much lower than that of any other region in Nigeria and in comparison with their population, common sense will tell you that they are more populated per square mile

Based on ipob bureau of statistics, the SE has 970 billionaires per square centimetre.

It's well understood. The South East is small in landmass. Kogi State is bigger than the whole of South East put together, so what were you expecting.?
This doesn't stop the fact that the North is still the headquarters of multidimensional poverty.

Very skewed report. SE has the smallest landmass, ofcourse you have far more people per square mile.

It's a weird report. Why not put the number of people per square mile so we can compare?

Some persons will just sit in front of their laptops and churn out unverifiable data or statistics. If you want to see and feel poverty in Nigeria, then head to the Northern part of this country and you will be shocked at the level of poverty there.

It doesnt necessarily lay credence to the notion that there are more poor people in the south east, rather it reinforces the claim that the south east is the most densely populated region in Nigeria.

That's because of population density. North on the other hand, with very large landmass will have fewer poor people by square miles.
This is simple logic.
Population percentage is a better measure.

An honest statistician would have revealed how many people live per sq mile, and then how many of them are poor. They will not reveal it, because that's what the desert orth has been trying to hide since the 1960s.
