Human beings were violent and discriminating against each other before either of the bible, koran and torah came into existence.

As an example, somewhere in Germany, a brutal war was fought some 45000 years ago. Am sure they were reading the bible , koran and torah back then...lol.

And those ancient Egyptians kept slaves, violently conquered other people, after reading the bible , and the quran...back in 1400 bce.

Humans are violent creatures. Religion in a way toned down the violence by forcing people to co-operate with each other across varied lines. Of course it did not eliminate violence, but neither did impositon of atheism.
