Giving out cash is never the way to alleviate the poverty caused by the subsidy removal. 500b will go a long way to at least repairing or building a refinery to serve the country and reduce the cost of petrol. Why can't we refine our petrol in this country. Why can't there be constant power in this country.
If the Govt is serious the money realised from subsidy henceforth can be used to these effects and watch how the fuel price reduces and cost of production also reduce thereby reducing prices.

Pls there are many ways the govt can use the subsidy money to revamp the economy and creat more jobs , not this rubbish 8k that is a waste and another avenue to steal. The govt is clueless.
