Na God save me one day, I entered my neighbor compound that has 5 or 6 Asians breads....I thought all the dogs were inside their cage oo.

The wey this animals would av bounce on me ehn.....since that day, I always call myself Daniel that enter den of dogs.

I hope the vete doesnt mean a vet doc? We dont need that to put that beast to sleep, 3 rounds of 2x2 backhead is enough to do the damage

Oh No! This could have been avoided. My guess is the dog is either a rottweiler or Pitbull.
People should learn about dogs' before breeding them, especially their temperament.

Condolences to the Families of the bereaved. I can’t imagine what they’re going though.
That said please stop the breed shaming of dogs….I have 3 pitbulls myself( a 7yr old and her two 4 year old kids), and they all live inside my house, not even compound. Never had an issue all 7 years, all 5 people that have been bitten(2 car thieves, 1 overzealous neighbor and 2 #endsars looters), all were trespassers.
No dog breed is bad just like no human is bad, your upbringing is everything.

A dog's reasoning is far better than yours.

It's really sad.

The dog will have to be put down, having tasted blood.

But I do hope the dog was being well treated too. Anything could have made it snap but I think mistreatment and lack of veterinary visits may contribute to such a rogue behavior.

My neighbor beats his dog and you can hear it squealing loudly. Guy's got three young kids and I fear they don't encounter the same fate. Seriously.

Treat your dogs right if you must keep them : regular veterinary visits, good food and good treatment.

When too big, they should be in a cage, coupled with regular walks... Phew!

May the poor kid rest in peace and may the family find consolation in God.

Such dogs are usually put down in my location. It’s the best thing to do because the memories will always haunt.No evaluation needed, just have the vet administer a lethal injection.
