It started recently..due to bad roads.mygear hits the ground often

Hi. My gear suddenly does not enter reverse.once I park and the car engine b3comes a bit cold.lets say for 2hrs. The gear won't enter reverse again. When I'm driving. It will be revving very high snd refuse to switch gears till I've driven about almost 30mins. I checked the gear underneath and I can see some oil dripping in the middle and against the gear oil seal pan..... pls what's the solution. Been managing the gear like that for almost 2years due to the fact that since the clutch was not aligned properly ,the car got into limp mode and does not exceed 3000 rpm. Now my gear doesn't enter reverse once the gear is hot.it will only enter reverse after I've driven for like almost 40mins to an hour. Pls what's the solution or should I scrap the gear and get another toks. I keep topping the oil every 1 week. Even though the oil is guage but the gear has started acting funny. The center console of the car gets hot,the shift level also gets hot. Since the oil is leaking.

Lack of fuel. Dirtyplugs, water inside plugs....expired plugs that are not firing. And of cos bad ad fake fuel pump...dirty nozzles..dirty fuel pump filter.

Issue of fuel pump,I wasted almost 80k.in the end I had rest of mind when I changed the complete assembly,even the fuel pump inside the complete assembly was weak. I had to buy all those 5k fuel pump like u have in the pics. Do not allow your tank to enter minus 1 pin guage count close to E. The car will stall,overheat the fuel pump cylinder and die prematurely maybe after 2months.. always top up your fuel 3ven if na 2500..3k at least every 2 to the 3 days,AC or not.

Either you have a vacuum leak either from pcv valve or somewhere.check those air hoses.going into the pcv valve and back to the air engine filter.something is loose or wrong . Hope kazeem has not tsmpered with engine

I don't know bit it was along the express. I'm living at edo but I felt helpless and angered cause the driver hit me fro. The rear and still was claiming right. Well no p. We would meet again

I was on the right lane,connecting back to ring road and all of a sudden, a toyota picnic and micra dented my driver side bumper ,damaging my pointer and scratching my paint. Before you know if 4 men came down to attack me and we exchanged blows. 4 men against me. One managed to seize my keys and ran back into his toyota picnic. I felt helpless and challenged,a lexus rx 350 parked and came to my rescue and pleaded with me to let go. Now my side marker bulb and housing is damaged completely. I was driving on my own and next thing was a loud bang at the rear. Ibadan drivers need to be careful. I left them to their fate,but I know las las they would end up under a full steel tipper truck.i feel a bit weak with migraine and some little back pains from the whole drama. Someone hit me fro the rear and was stuck claiming right. No wohala. God help me the day I get my gun license ....now painter and panel with bill me almost 20k to fix damages.

Wow. Thats a lot of work ,which means they will have to open up your engine. Hmmm just be careful because the engine might develop more problems once handled by a nigerian wack mechanic. Why dont you sell the engine and buy another one tokunbo. Repairing engine in the long run outweights replacing it because u will keep repairing itforever.

It wasnt the fuel pump nor the ECT sensor
An indepth live monitoring scan by my mech showed some counts of misfire on all cylinders so he concluded it was a timing issue and id have to replace the intake camshaft. He says its a common issue on corollas.

It's not just ph. It's everywhere sir. I stopped buying fuel into my tank when I noticed a lot of inconsistencies in my fuel guage readings,not knowing they were blowing in air into my tank. Always buy inside Jerry can for accuracy.

You must be kidding. Those 2 elements are the major supplier of fuel to engine. Catalyst and 02 sensor. Your engine will be dumping additional fuel by 15% leading to poor gas mileage. If I'm lying take a towel and go to your muffler. Wet towel,early in the morning,use it to wipe the muffler. The result will be black sooth amon the exhaust. Dark black. 02 sensor and catalyst are doing team work .

What was the outcome.

Buy new one from ebay. It costs about 25k. Don't buy toks. Buy brand new from ebay. oem

I think this problem is attributed from either your fuel pump,or something called coldstart. Those might be the major culprits.

I had been driving my gs 300 without looking under the chassis especially when i go to alignment shop. So about 3 weeks ago,I noticed my fuel consumption had increased. So I went to my friend's place and he took me to his panel beater. Before then,my car idles smoothly on bumpy roads,hills,. My guys panel now said the net under the exhaust was leaking and that we need to change it to hard pipe. I agreed and since then whenever I step on brakes at a bump or hill.The engine now behaves like it wants to shut down. Seems the pipe is choking the engine and it can't breathe. When I challenged him on notice in engine performance he boldly told me that my engine is straight six and that the net that was there was for a dual engine like v6 and not straight six...now my engine acts like it wants to go off if I want to climb a speed bump and I apply brakes..or when I'm olin motion and I apply brakes,the brake pedal suddenly feels heavy like as if the car is off. It never acted this way before installing the hard pipe that doesn't have net or aluminium mesh....

They will do nothing,apart from putting you in handcuffs....

Is there no drainage

My car side glass was damaged today because I refused to stop for the Nigerian police who were not on on official police patrol van,no nAme ,no tags but on korope. He damaged my side mirror because I refused to stop ,park and be extorted. End police brutality part 2. I will be at the war front. They were armed loaded and corked AK 47 and were ready to shoot me dead.i wasted 15k repairing my side glass and the stand still its still obvious . Now to replace it with factory will cosy me 35k. If I was extorted without a tint Permit. It might have risen to 30k.im so passed off.

At cold starts,my gear delays for about 15 secs especially if I parked with my boot facing backwards. I looked under the gear area at an alignment shop and discovered its dripping oil off the gear pan. Never done a drain of gear oil since I got the car as tokunbor 3years ago
