Why not create an economic ecosystem around it, that will explore the waters. We know you tamed the ocean but pls stop trying to tame every water.
You'll spend sooooo much holding water back, when we can create clear water channel and make the best of the water body.

They are murderers. Add expired baby foods, these mad people will continue to receive their retribution in truck loads, in the mighty name of Jesus. A relative almost lost a child to a tin of expired baby cereal. The family became perplexed as the child's condition deteriorated despite all medical care. The doctors advised the parents to stop feeding the child with baby formula Ogi, Amala and ewedu soup was suggested. We blessed God that child is alive and kicking today. |

Free2Fly: Other governors should be ready to do what? You ungrateful people don't acknowledge the huge amount the FG has invested in that state because of its strategic location and national heritage. Let's not talk about those invested by individuals, corporate institutions and international organisations for the same reasons. Will other governors use their own money to develop seaports and airports, and the Atlantic ocean that will create that import and export hub in their states? Nonsense post, the federal government didn't build my great grandmothers', greatgrandfather's, grandfather's, grandmothers', grand uncles', grand aunties and so on houses. Most of them build their houses as far as the 60s. We the young ones understands the assignments, you must think you're talking to a kid, the halt plots some of us bought 20 years ago, for 350k are now worth 25m, and we are still buying and building. Omoluabi build this city, they've been building since Olokun Seniade. The only thing my people knows, is how to develop and build. Your useless federal government came to meet us here, infact both the British and your useless federal government should pay us reparations, for stealing our lands and killing our people for fighting back. Before the British and your useless federal government arrive, we were thriving. They met a king and deposed him, killed as much as they can, just to take over the land. Whom God has blessed, no man can curse. Tell your federal government to bless you, with the divine grace enjoyed by Lagos. Owo Eko, Eko lo ngbe. |

It is well. Stop getting unnecessarily emotional, land is a fixed asset, never depreciate, infact appreciate in value, over a long period of time. Landed property is an investment, even if the house was built when cement was 50 naira, how many people were able to build at that period?. |

zombieHUNTER: Please don't blame inflation
Blame it on the great Tinubulation Seriously?. A room in Lagos used to cost 40 naira, get informed. When it comes to housing, demand and supply dictates the price. Ask around, a two bedrooms flat at Mowe is 200k, the same two bedrooms flat in Oshodi is now 1.7 million. As long as people move into Lagos for whatsoever reasons that's pursuing them, we the people of Lagos shall continue to be grateful to those who blessed us with the privileges. Let other governors in Nigeria do the needful, Nigeria is big enough to accommodate everyone, Lagos is equally ready to accommodate, just be ready to pay and remember, owo Eko, Eko lo ngbe. yommen: What exactly are the Yoruba Muslims causing for the Igbos?
You should be able to state it in clear terms!!! Islamisation? What evidence or headlines can you sight to show that Yoruba Muslims feel the Igbos are the ones blocking Islamisation? There are more Yoruba Christians than the Muslims and it was not even the Igbo man that brought Christianity to Yoruba man. In fact, Yorubaman brought Christianity to the Igbo man.
See one of the ways in which you lack wisdom and you shoot yourself in the foot. An Igbo man in Haroun Mohammed Eze is the secretary of Muslim council of Nigeria. He was the one that signed Sultan of Sokoto letter to southwest to introduce Sharia. You can see that it's even an Igbo man that is championing Islamisation of south west. What an irony but that's how you people try to claim what is not! Omo ibo, go and calm down cos the more you look, the less you
Have the people you call Yoruba Muslims ever targeted the Igbo man verbally or physically? What are your proofs? See, all these your baseless claim only shows your obsession towards the Yoruba man. You make it so obvious that you have nothing to hold the Yorubas responsible for anything against you but you just choose to make unfounded noise about Yorubas. Don't mind them, envious and covetous folks. They're obsessed with Yoruba land and her people. Iye ni won a ma wo, won o to eye ri. |

MadPolitician: Thanks for the information on the names and locations of different ethnic groups in Nigeria. Unfortunately, that was the only truthful thing in your write up. That is because igbos are not in any sort of competition with the Yorubas, neither are the igbos fighting the Yorubas. Rather, it has always been the other way round.
The Yorubs since the founding of Egbe Omo Oduduwa by Awolowo, have made the destabilisation and destruction of the igbos a centerpiece of their political strategy. The January 15th coup only provided them with the excuse they desperately wanted to try ethnic cleansing on igbos. All through their support for the fulanis endless wars against the igbos, they have always sited that coup as the reason, because according to them it was an "igbo coup" perpetuated to enforce igbo domination.
That's why they have all been running from pillar to post over the last few days, trying to ridicule Babangidas book that emphatically stated otherwise. They have to find ways to mess up that book, because if the tales in that book are accepted, it means they had no reason to join the fulanis to start a killing spree of igbos since the 60s. So it is the Yorubas that are fighting the igbo. The igbos are only defending themselves against a dangerous enemy that has gleefully unleashed genocide on igboland in the past, without showing any atom of remorse. Cry me a lagoon, Egbe Omo Yoruba was established to protect Yoruba interests. Egbe Omo Yoruba was operating in their space, in SW. How can the establishment and activities of Egbe Omo Yoruba in SW Nigeria be inimical to the survival of the Igbos?, you people are not good people. Of all the tribes in Nigeria, only Igbos are obsessed with Yoruba, crying day and night. You guys are like a midget, trying to swallow a giant, until the Igbos back off on their devious desire to take over and subjugated Yoruba, in their homeland, Igbos will continue to cry. God put Yoruba in the West, Igbos in the East, God even divide us with river Niger. All that Igbos needs to do is mind their business, and keep their sorry nose out of Yoruba business. Ire o. |

Ofemannnu: It is a spiritual phenomenon.Yorubas will always have emphaty for the Igbos, help them and participate in whatever venture Igbos indulge in I mean like 1/3 of Yorubas always have that brotherly love and "I want to assist and support them" spirit towards the Igbos.
In the history of Nigeria,we have seen this up t[sup][/sup]I'll date.Have read the history of Nigeria and concluded that it is a kind of shared destiny. Yorubas always acting the senior brother. Biafra war,we have Banjo,Wole Soyinka,Sam Aluko,Fajuyi etc ticking out their necks for the Igbos
Obasanjo,Adebanjo,Farotimi and a host of millions of Yorubas having soft spot for the Igbos. The funny thing is,most Igbos are always against Yoruba. I think it is mostly an envy thing because Yoruba have always had the upper hand in most affairs. They have always been the superior almost in everything.I think they should work together for their combined progress. Eye don open, Yoruba have since stopped doing " oore ti ko ni ope ni inu ". Back to the Topic, Social media and wokeness did more damages than sharing of Financial responsibilities. Some of our mothers handled more of the Financials when our Dad's finances hit a rock and our Mothers never divorce them.
Marriage is a Covenant and not a Contract and it is suppose to be a "Till death do Us path" but wokeness has led to lack of Loyalty. Yinmu. Our mothers who worked their fingers to the bones, supporting our dads when their finances hit the rocks, how were they rewarded?. When our fathers eventually crawled out of the rock bottom, they replaced their wives with strange women. Whoever needs a good supportive wife should just try and get money. Women no longer marry for love, they marry for money. A girl who watched her mother suffered will not be ready to suffer again. |
