lastkingsman: I won't if I was married and I even discovered my wife voted APC. That's the end of that marriage. There's no good person that supports APC. K rather marry a super fat obese American lady that cant walk than an APC supporter with an American passport that is pretty 8 Likes 3 Shares |

The funny thing is that the elite class do not even need two passports. They have diplomatic passports That in itself carry weight And we both know that even after leaving office; most do not return it |

IbeOkehie: He has a British passport and is close to traditional rulers cum political elites in the Lekki area. That is the sweet spot for most Nigerian men - run a business in Nigeria while having a second passport. Nnamdi Kanu has a British passport, Sunday Igboho has German and Sowore has American. 1 Like |

goodman023:Baba here no be where to hustle oo I'd had lots of $$$ before coming here. Make dollars I've shared how I made my money with four threads here on nairaland. If you go hard with it you too can make it and decide to leave anywhere in the world. Full time income in the US is $4000 I make more than that every month. Put in the work remember nobody makes money with excuses. You've got to kill excuses to make money. |

Gerrard59: They do, because only here can they enjoy the trappings of flaunting their ill-gotten wealth. In Nigeria, they are a king who can order drivers and police around and cry "do you know who I am"? In America, they'd be just the next-door neighbor. 5 Likes 1 Share |

ednut1: Since the early days of Naija, people have always JAPA...and then return after they make it. It is only in this Gen Zs generation that it seems they are the first set of people to JAPA....And since Nigerians have been JApA-ing, 20M have not JAPA, other wise we should have like 100M remaining today to cater for. 1 Like |

TWoods: Oga TWoods, The majority of a country's wealthy WOULD always be in their dominant society. The wealthiest Singaporeans, South Africans, British, Japanese, Koreans, Russians, Chinese, Emiratis etc., all reside in their countries. It is logical and simple mathematics. Why would/should the majority of Nigeria's wealthiest reside outside Nigeria - where there are more Nigerians than elsewhere? |

Backpedal: Yeah. Nigeria is a good place to live for EXTRAORDINARY PEOPLE....people with extraordinary resources such as political connection, exceptional work ethics or talents, rapacious greed or sadistic instincts. These are the only kind of people that can overcome the exploitative barriers put in place by the feudal-socialist system of Nigeria. If you're a Nigerian of average means, average background and average talents, your best place to live is the Anglo-West. The generally free market system will recognize and put you exactly where you belong on the spectrum. Because the free market system tends to lift ALL boats, the average person will also rise with it. TWoods: Not all great wealth in Nigeria is ill-gotten. Add to that, what you regard as bad methods are simply rewards of recognizing and abiding by incentives in the system. The founders of Emzor Pharma didn't defraud anyone, neither did wealthy cocoa farmers. Dangote may have unfair advantage, but likely hasn't broken any laws. Here's one instance, read and understand - https://www.reuters.com/article/idUSKCN0Z90ZO/#:~:text=Africa's%20richest%20man%20got%20a%20fistful%20of%20dollars%20in%20Nigerian%20currency%20squeeze,-By%20Ulf%20Laessing&text=LAGOS%2FLONDON%20(Reuters)%20%2D,Aliko%20Dangote%2C%20Africa's%20richest%20man. That's my take, but what do I know. Good Luck to Nigerians |

Gerrard59: Elon Musk as of today or last week is the wealthiest man in the world. He was born in South Africa but lives in the USA, in fact migrated to become a USA citizen. You'll probably contest that example but there it is. The richest man IN THE WORLD doesn't live in his native country, yes he's a singular instance but also a very significant one. Most ultra-rich Nigerians don't "live" in Nigeria. I really don't think so. Good Luck to Nigeria. |

IbeOkehie: One of Chiles richest men doesn't even live in Chile. He migrated to Hong Kong after graduating from university and made it there. You can make it anywhere in the world so far as the society is a merit driven one and you have a lot of value to offer. 5 Likes 1 Share |
