Government can’t keep subsidizing everything. Air Peace is a private business and they must find a way to survive competition. Arik was flying straight to London Heathrow before they were out-priced by foreign airlines.

The only way Air Peace can survive the price war is to appeal to the sentiments of Nigerians. They must make all Nigerians see Air peace as a national brand that is serving the interest of all Nigerians and whose survival depends on the patronage of Nigerians against harsh foreign competitors.

Sadly, they mismanaged the fallout of their maiden flight by allowing Obidients ethnicize the narrative. The Igbo pushback and the massive insults against Yoruba people because some very few people on twitter suggested that the dressing of the hostess should reflect a united Nigeria identity as against an ethnic group was unnecessary. President Tinubu and Keyamo were not spared in the insult. Now, how will they change the narrative?

Abi o, Kadoso. Abi o. They always repeat the same mistake over and over again. It's always the whole world against them, Kadoso. They refuse to see or think beyond that fallacy, Kadoso.😉

If they succeed Nigerians will pay 20 times more. That is an Igboman warning Nigerians just like the Igbos warned before Buhari and apc came to destroy Nigeria and its economy. A word is enough for the wise.

Airpeace can introduce Enugu to London flight, pharcourt to London flight and even Kano to London flight...This is a way to capture travellers from these states instead of them disembarking in Lagos or Abuja before boarding to London.
These flights will be routed through Lagos to join air peace flight from Lagos to London.

I know Virgin does the same in the uk by capturing Manchester...You can book from Manchester to Lagos but the itinerary is usually Manchester to London to Lagos.

I think air peace should be innovative here. They shouldn't allow their airlines to have any ethnic coloration.

I don't think those routes are lucrative enough compared to Lagos. I honestly don't see Air Peace successful in the long run as they won't be able to complete at some point.

What they will do is since their local flights fly to Owerri, they will give Owerri travellers opportunity to book from Owerri to London and will have stopover of maybe 2 hours in Lagos..They can slightly increase the fare for this class of people.
Virgin applied the same tactics from Manchester.
Re: Foreign Airlines Are Underpricing Us - Alex Onyema by Ubanz: 4:11pm On Apr 10
If the foreign airlines like let the charge N10.00 ,I will still patronize Air Peace and boycott them.
For several years they have been cheating Nigerians and charging less on other West African routes.
Feeding Nigerians with samosa and sprinrolls on an 8 hr flight.
They made triple profit at our expense.

We don't want them out but if this persists reasonable Nigerians would boycott them.

That makes sense.

Yeah..They can board them from Owerri, Enugu, Kano, Ph using their local planes on their regular local flights...Travellers from these locations will prefer this arrangement to going to passing the night in Lagos or Abuja using same air peace oo before boarding say British airways or Virgin Atlantic the following day..BA, VA will not fly to Owerri, Enugu, PH or Kano to airlift passengers.

It is called 'Price War' in aviation. Airpeace started with a price that was not sustainable in other to 'pack' all passengers, others have 'hit' back. All in the price war are making losses. Now, its a matter of who survive it in the end. Then the still standing ones will jark up the price astronomically to recover the losses. I knew this price war will start the moment I heard Airpeace price.

The government must find a way to support Air Peace

The government cannot regulated pricing. If they decide to sell cheap.

We Nigerians need to support them but of course you know us.

20 yrs ago, a certain Globacom came into the telecoms space and instead of lowering the call rates from N50 to N40 per minute, Adenuga debuted with per second billing. It was daring, revolutionary and a paradigm shift. He forced the international operators to follow suit and effectively ended the exploitation of Nigerians.
That act signaled the beginning of price wars and other forms of competition within the industry. Today, the Nigerian economy is better for it.
Air Peace should restrategize and get on with the war, it's business where everyone wants to be a winner. Our thoughts and prayers are with Air Peace to thrive and be around for a long time.
Too early to start crying foul, it's business war, and if you intend to be a big player, you must be ready for the consequences. Break a leg, Alex!

Government can not get involved ... or Air Peace will see hell abroad. The most they can do is give a much better in-flight service to offset the price difference. Try to be like Emirates... serve a much better and local inflight meals etc. Consult with the FG to have a hastle free check in and check out experience with Immigration .... have a better Customer Service desk and I'm sure they wouldn't have to worry about the price war ... their flights will all be filled.
Maybe other aspects need improvement but their in-flight services have been the talk of the town lately🤔

Keep displaying your foolishness to the entire world. How has that stopped them from progressing? Against all odds, your shackle could not hold them back and you still depend on their businesses everyday. The foolish one is not difficult to spot because you have shown the entire attributes of a foolish being. That has been your prayer. Just imagine charcoal calling kettle black. Your foolishness has no remedy.

Lol,you were so pained that you had to quote me twice! Igbo are indeed progressing such that Ekene Dili Chukwu,Young Shall Grow and other night buses keep bringing your poverty-stricken people from your erosion-ravaged land of primitive hinterland bushmen, they keep arriving in droves, but here you are beating your tiny chest about non existent "progress"! Typical loudmouthed fools;a bunch of NOBODY who think they are some sorts of VIP!

Go and cure yourself of the narcissistic personality disorder you lots from that jungle of primitive beings are suffering from 'cause the symptoms are well written all over you in particular! It's a genetic trait of mental disorder you all from Dot-in-a-circle land suffer from. The underlisted are the symptoms you often exhibit:

1. Always craves for “the best” in everything!
2. Have a very fragile self-esteem
3. Have an unreasonably high sense of self-importance and require constant, excessive admiration.
4. Feel that they deserve privileges and special treatment.
5. Expect to be recognized as superior even without achievements.
6. Make achievements and talents seem bigger than they are.
7. Be preoccupied with fantasies about success, power, brilliance, beauty or the perfect mate.
8. Believe they are superior to others and can only spend time with or be understood by equally special people.
9. Be critical of and look down on people they feel are not important.
10. Expect special favors and expect other people to do what they want without questioning them.
11. Take advantage of others to get what they want.
12. Have an inability or unwillingness to recognize the needs and feelings of others.
13. Be envious of others and believe others envy them.
14. Behave in an arrogant way, brag a lot and come across as conceited.
15. Insist on having the best of everything — for instance, the best car or office.

At the same time, people with narcissistic personality disorder have trouble handling anything they view as criticism. They can:

1.Become impatient or angry when they don't receive special recognition or treatment.
2. Have major problems interacting with others and easily feel slighted.
3. React with rage or contempt and try to belittle other people to make themselves appear superior.
4. Have difficulty managing their emotions and behavior.
5. Experience major problems dealing with stress and adapting to change.
6. Withdraw from or avoid situations in which they might fail.
7. Feel depressed and moody because they fall short of perfection.
8. Have secret feelings of insecurity, shame, humiliation and fear of being exposed as a failure.

Listed above, are what a typical Igbo, including you, suffers from!

Lol. Pained? Just as I noted initially, when you see a foolish one, it's not difficult to spot however, yours is beyond comprehension and contagious. The tribe you know nothing about keeps feeding you and your entire generation. Keep fooling yourself. It's understandable.

I said it earlier, yours is an acute case of narcissistic personality disorder! You're delusional; you assume in your flat head that you're bigger than your actual size! A nobody like you feeling funky! What is there to know about the people whose forebears were still walking around butt-naked as recently as the 1930s? You're mentally deranged, I swear!

Lol! Exactly what we are talking about—your poverty-stricken people are already eating themselves, but an empty chest-beating fool like you is here talking about feeding other people!

Take it or leave it, your primitive hinterland-dwelling tribe is not rated by anyone; come down from your high horse, Chinedu!
