Well, this is what I am seeing. He is winning thus far with his guard play strategy. Irrespective of who brings the ball up, Doncic, Curry or Burke, when they come off the screen and roll at the top, they are pressing inside the paint and not passing to the rolling player which is forcing the Clippers to sag which opens the paint area for open shots.

Doc has tried to counter by switching from a man on man to zone to hybrid to high picks to catching the ball carrier high up the Mavs half but they are still finding it easy to penetrate.

Any other team would also have problems. Carlisle is a problem coach. Doncic was still unknown, but he plays like a disciplined Harden.

Actually the way the clippers have played them makes me fear clippers more. They are deep enough to take any team. They are coming out of the west easy after this series.
