Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 8:30pm On Oct 17
WeissVonner:I did some research. Thank goodness for basketball reference. In all of MJ's finals, he never faced a player who averaged 30 points in the finals. He faced a 25ppg player only twice (Barkley 27.3 and Malone 25.0). And of course, he never faced two 25ppg players on the same team.
Meanwhile, in LeBron's ten finals, he's faced a 30ppg player twice (KD in OKC and KD in GS). He's faced nine 25+ppg players (KD trice, Curry trice, Westbrook, Dirk and Butler). And he's faced two 25+ppg players on the same team three times (KD & Curry twice, and KD & Westbrook).
MJ played in a finals against a team which the second best player averaged 10.7 points (Hornacek in 1998). The best second highest scorer he's faced averaged 18.6 (Magic).
The worst 2nd second highest scorer LeBron ever faced is Bam Adebayo (15.3), with the injury. The best second highest scorer LeBron has faced averaged 27.0 ppg (Westbrook and Curry).

steady986:Yeah that Jazz team in 1998 especially was trash.
MJ faced his best competition in his Conference (until his conference became just as useless), Bron faced his best competition in the finals. If Bron was drafted by a western conference team, he'd have fewer finals appearances and If Jordan was put in Brons shoes, he'd have more finals losses but fewer finals appearances.
The whole finals record thing is just a very re.tarded argument. It had never made sense, only idiots don't understand the fallacy it entails.
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 10:41am On Oct 18
Thats it for me. It was fun while it lasted. At least this time it ended on a much higher note.
Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 12:14pm On Oct 18
Rob Parker when LeBron got to L.A: "he's done winning championships. He's in L.A to make movies. He's a 6'8" version of Kevin Hart."
Rob Parker when LeBron won the championship with L.A: "I always thought he was gonna win at some point no matter where he is, because his talent was that way."
Clown. Typical LeBron hater
Re: The NBA Begins by Cinacci124: 2:24pm On Oct 18
For those that say that LeBron got more help than Jordan, please study this chart very well. It illustrates those important teammates both Jordan and LeBron played with on the to the finals. It shows what those important teammates had achieved before they played with either LeBron or Jordan, what they achieved playing with them and what they were able to achieve after. Enjoy!

Interesting... A lot to unpack
Re: The NBA Begins by birdman(m): 11:25pm On Oct 18
It has only been a week but it feels like a month. Im still on a high, I did not think a fourth ring could happen in year 17. I thot Rockets would take Lakers down in game 7...mumu me!!
Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 11:32am On Oct 19
birdman:It's just the first of a three peat. You heard it here first.
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 7:19pm On Oct 19
steady986:I'm convinced beyond reasonable doubt that you cannot read. This is not even laughing matter again. Go and enrol in night school or something. What a Muppet
Lool. Where did you get the impression that I was incapable of talking favorably about LeNomad? What is this crackhead behavior you lot keep exhibiting
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 7:23pm On Oct 19
Roland17:You're awfully quiet today I wonder why.
Hope you enjoyed GOAT Brady absolutely dildoze Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Shit Packers
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 7:31pm On Oct 19
I've been seeing some context free propaganda so we have to come and balance the equation
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 7:36pm On Oct 19
Cinacci124:Where is D.Wade Finals MVP award in this your chart?
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 7:57pm On Oct 19
nairamaniac:The koko is the Rockets proved they were beatable. They didn't pull it off but any team that can push you to 7 games and be leading you by double digits at halftime can definitely beat you.
nairamaniac:That's neither here nor there
The Heat had better depth and for that era the Heat had far and away the best roster in the league
nairamaniac:Na wa oh. You people act like Phil Jackson never lost a series. Wasn't he coach when Dallas swept them? Didn't he lose to Detroit with Kobe, Shaq, Payton and Malone
nairamaniac:The first finals LeBron was passive and terrible. He was the 3rd best scorer on his team and did not play even passable defense on Jason Terry
The last Finals Wade struggled but the entire team lacked the will to play defense. And trust me the rest of the league were not sympathizing with a team that had Chris Bosh, Dwyane Wade and Ray Allen as secondary options
LeNomad displayed some of the most fantastic statpaddin you will ever see in that 2014 Finals as well. Almost 40% of his buckets came with the Heat down by 15 points or more
I think between Games 3-5 he scored 51 points with the Heat down by 15 or more
Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 9:10pm On Oct 19
WATCH IT!!! I knew you would show up with your DISRESPECTFUL SELF...
it's Monday and I will not have you start the week DISRESPECTING the GOAT!
Brady had nothing to do with it for the most part!. The Bucs Defense showed up with picks and crazy sacks!
I almost broke the TV yesterday evening watching pick after pick, sack after sack!!
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 10:07pm On Oct 19
Roland17:I've always told you never to compare Aaron Rodgers to the real GOAT TB12. He's an imposter just like LeNomad (wearing same number) but he's worse because he's even less qualified than LeNomad
Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 10:54pm On Oct 19
How dare you!!!!! This is where I draw the line!
The NOMAD can assemble players like a mechanic working for an automobile company and still post horrible finals aggregate but the GOAT can not.
Re: The NBA Begins by smokers: 11:06pm On Oct 19
I rarely quote here but Brady is the goat. I love Rodgers though
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 11:38pm On Oct 19
Roland17:Ahhhhh well I won't fault you there. NFL doesn't allow you to hand pick guys that easily but still 1 SB in his entire career. That's kinda awful

Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 12:10pm On Oct 20
Imagine stat-padding when your team is 15 points down, a time when your points are most needed. There's nothing I won't hear on this thread So what will it be called when your team is 20 points up?
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 12:30pm On Oct 20
Lmaoooo Bronsexuals will defend their man to the hilt. Your man scored 62% of his points with his team down 15points or more and that's not padding
Like a QB throwing 30 TD passes but 20 of them came with his team down 3 or more TDs. Is that effective?
Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 2:58pm On Oct 20
These LeBron haters are delusional. Shameless, and they don't try to hide it. We hear how Skip regular calls LeBron a frontrunner, rightfully claiming that points don't mean anything if your team has a huge lead. But here we are in this thread and someone's trying to convince me that points don't mean anything if you're trailing by 15
Man, I thought I had seen it all. Folks are trying to get even in the game and the points are stat-padding? Man, go ahead and fool yourself, you're on your own. I can't help you.
Re: The NBA Begins by SmooshCHN: 10:45pm On Oct 20
The only reason I didn't go to Lekki today was because of traffic back to Ikeja. Do I feel like a coward for staying at home? Yes.
Y'all should stay safe out there.
Re: The NBA Begins by Cinacci124: 7:12pm On Oct 21
Lol....so no honourable mentions for MJ?
Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 7:12pm On Oct 21
SmooshCHN:Being a coward that's alive is better than being dead.
Re: The NBA Begins by Cinacci124: 7:15pm On Oct 21
A40:lol. Maybe you should include all the role players James played with.
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 11:39pm On Oct 21
Cinacci124:LeBron had almost triple the number of honorable mentions MJ had, when we are talking of support cast for their respective title contending seasons it's not even close
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 11:50pm On Oct 21
steady986:I hope you have finally gotten small ability to read so you don't goof 40 times while addressing what I actually say
It's a pity you are generally clueless on anything besides LeNomad knob polishing. There is a reason people take stock of these types of stats
If you're scoring 62% of your points in 3 straight losses with your team down by 15 points or more then that is statpadding and no responsible analyst will posit that LeNomad was effective and had a good series.
Teams with large leads typically don't play with the same intensity and when the bulk of your points come in those circumstances then it should be obvious they will not hold the same weight. But the mugu pseudo analyst will not grasp such basic concept
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 11:52pm On Oct 21
SmooshCHN:Omo. I told everyone I knew after seeing what happened in Orile to stay in for the curfew especially for day 1 because anybody they caught that first day go too suffer. Even I didn't anticipate the murderous plans this government had
Re: The NBA Begins by donlittle25: 1:22am On Oct 22
A40:omo he hot o, and I been they contemplate make I stay Lagos for one more week. Thank God say I japa. See the killing yesterday, I no believe am at all.
