Blocks like that can be easily built locally. I don't see the need for importation.

Nobody is advocating for that. I provided further information on an alternative building material as requested by someone. The raw material for it's production is abundant in Nigeria (the technology, maybe not) and could be harnessed. If produced in the country, it would go a long way in reducing the incidence of building collapse. We put a whole lot of unnecessary weight on our buildings.

I don't want the derail the discussion. It's all about the building that Spyder880 is erecting

I flew to Rome briefly last week and was shopping for wall hangings of good quality paintings, so I found this wall painting of a construction site, trucks working on the road and some houses around them, framed by some tropical trees at the sides, so I bought this frame for 50,000 dollars, enjoy the painting, vintage Picasso! cool cool cool

Good work,after removing the form work for lintel,don't you think it is neccesary to scrap the sides, so that it will not affect it during plastering.take a look at it,sort it out.you are doing great!!!!!

Spyder, I need you professional advice. Can I proceed with the suspended ceiling in my project as my floor tiles hasn't arrived from the states? My Madam is visiting this Easter. The house must be completed before the end of March.

emmm, every thing at the top are supposed to be finished before those down to avoid spoiling the tiles by falling objects, paints, marks etc.
