We didn't even deserve the point. No way should the 4 in midfield be starting. All awful. Also Nani should be starting ahead of the limited Valencia. rooney was good value up until that 93rd minute. his setpieces were very good today. he created a very good chance welbeck should have scored...

however, world class players show their quality when the chips are down. there's no way van persie or ronaldo would be looking for a pass in the last minute of a game.

He shirked his responsibilities by electing to pass that ball, he should have taken the shot.However had he taken the shot and missed he would have been vilified for not passing to Welbeck. However he did it that should have ended up with United scoring, either a well taken shot or a better weighted pass.

I think Rooney's goal scoring confidence is down. I was pleased with his 1st touch but everything suddenly evaporated.


But the coach has a major blame today. At half time I thought we would have Nani or Young for Janujaz, and Welbeck for Chicha. They were anonymous most of the time. We were further weakened by Cleverley lack of match fitness. The subs were kept too late and Giggs was not the right person.
