Lukaku was racially abused at Cagliari yesterday

Italian FA needs to do something about this rubbish.

Let's be realistic, racism is never going to end.

The best way to tackle it is by African countries stepping up in all aspects in comparison to its Western counterparts.

Lukaku better play very well there, because Inter fans aren't saints either. Miss a one-on-one chance that could win a match, and watch how they'll pounce on him with racist words.

Racism may never be eradicated but this kind of occurrence can be reduced significantly.

If the Italian FA reduces points from clubs whose fans chant racist words at opposition players, the clubs will do something about it.

Ruling that their games be played behind closed doors will be effective too.

Lukaku should know what he’s into by now. Inter fans sef they can be stoopeed.

It can never work that way.

How about if opposition fans disguise themselves just to come and rain rasist insults in a bid to getting points deducted from u...

Or opposition clubs pay someone to do that just so u'll get points deducted from u.

It will reduce the nuisance.

By the time their fellow fans start mobbing them for trying to cost their teams matchday points and ban, you'd think twice before going to collect money to do racist chant.

Na one person dey start the chant before other fools join in .

So, you’ll pay someone money as well as for the tickets to go and make racist chants at a game they’re not interested in? And also hope that his sole chants will be enough to get the club you hate a ban after rigorous investigation?

Collective chants like that of yesterday can be curtailed with enough disciplinary measures. If you get punished for the stoopeed actions of your fans, you’ll learn how to keep them in tow

If the next set of transfers are right like these three have shown so far, things will get better.

Rashford's friendship with Lingard will be his undoing in football.... looking for potential at 29 years old.

Which other cohesion?

Or Rashford and Pogba need team cohesion to score penalties?

Or cohesion to take matches serious and quit the bloated ego?

Transfers will do a lot.

Let's see what they'll do about it.

I’m half certain nothing will be done about it. Moise Kean, an Italian, was racially abused by his own fans and his teammates didn’t really support him.

Nothing was done about it.

I’m certain that was part of the reason he moved to Everton.

Saw a post where Everton's owner guaranteed his mum that he'll be taken care of better than when he was at Juve.

It was during Balotelli's own that it was made clear that there's really nothing like a Black Italian. It's all talk, and birth certs.

It’s Marcel Brands, their technical director. He always adds a personal touch to his transfer dealings. They usually get good deals.

It’s the same with almost all European countries. The toxicity level is the only difference.

Plus humans communities will always discriminate against each other.

Transfer talk bore me because since 2014, no improvement despite all the players brought it. January is not even a time to get quality players.

Yes, it is possible.

How much do u think 3 point deduction from a rival club is worth?
Definitely way more than a group of people will be paid to shout racist chants.

Just last season Leeds united coaching team used a drone to watch the training of Derby county game between the both of them.

If a club can do that just to watch a training game, wot do u think club or even fans would do to try and deduct points from a rival..

My own opinion is that punishing the club is not the way forward because the club probably had nothing to do with it. The punishment u are talking about is just like the parent of a thief being arrested because of the crime his son committed and the fact the he/she gave birth to a thief...

Shekpites logic? SMH

Do u believe punishing the club for the action of some of it's fans is the right way to curb racism from football?

I believe such fans should be arrested and tried to court, if found guilty then they should be given a lengthy sentence. Something like that would deter others who have the intention of doing such in the future from going ahead with it...

Them dey write Cagliari fan for face?

Punishing the club is not the way to go. Those fans involved are the ones that should be punished with a lengthy sentence that would put fear in the minds of potential rracists

Well, it's true that a lot of transfers have been made since Fergie left, but for the first time in a long time, all three transfers made have shown good quality and are also disciplined, hopefully, they don't get corrupted by the beans gang.

Any fan who does this needs to be identified and should face the law courts APART from being banned for life from sporting arenas by the appropriate sporting body.

Any club whose fans are repeat offenders should have points deducted and also face lengthy periods playing their home games in a closed, empty stadium. This will affect both club revenue and the fan’s enjoyment.

Is it the clubs fault dat some fans are stewpid?

Playing home games in an empty stadium, I can agree to that but deducting points is very far from it.

Desucting points and playing in an empty stadium is not something that would make ppl dat have been raccists all their life change their ways. They might just come up with new ways other than just chants.

Forget ban from stadium, a lengthy spell in jail would make other potential racistt chanters think twice... That's the only way. Point deduction might affect d club more and that fan might not even bat an eye cos he is a plastic fan.
