Now when you talk of competence, i guess you're aware of what happened in Lagos during the period of doctors' strike. I know Fashola may be a good governor, but he is not most competent among his equal considering the amount of revenue generated in Lagos state alone

Onlytruth: The only easy way for the ACN-CPC merger to snatch Aso rock (even if Jonathan is contesting in 2015) is to field an Igbo candidate, somebody like Rivers state governor Chibuike Amaechi (if they can snag him from PDP) with a NW VP candidate. That way, the East will be thoroughly divided with the larger chunk supporting Amaechi.
Remember that Amaechi is also "Rotimi" (if that helps to get Yoruba votes).

If the merger can also get APGA, it will definitely kill PDP.
I personally want PDP killed.

WHO TOLD U THAT GOVERNOR CHIBUIKE AMAECHI IS AN IGBO MAN.

Am a xtian but I don't think a xtian can do anything better but would rather slow the pace.
We need just a Godly candidate and a very porous down to earth and responsive candidate who is not religous t all but very Godly to represent fully a confederated state like Nigeria.
And also I think Fashola and well may be El-Rufai would do the killing.
But a Buhari would worsen the whole situation for he would do no responsiveness but chasing after his enemies and those who turned him down which will thus,create more hardship and back stabbing.
I never voted Fashola initially. But to God Almighty that I serve,am not a Pastor,he is the best and most fitted young and dynamic individual that can achieve this feat.
I cried when Obama was elected because everyone new he was the best fit that could change the game in the US which I still think made sense.
And I sincerely know if fashola accepts and eventually wins,it is going to be bigger than what I and a lot of Nigerians would take including the world because deep in our hearts,irrespective of tribe we know is capabl
e of putting many things in order and I know a lot of Nigerians wanted him,more reasons he had a clean indisputable win in Lagos and if we support this feat I can bet Nigeria will never be the same.
Please I heard Fashola saying he doesn't want to contest for president next dispensation,but I beg Nigerians yo shove beef aside and if at all beg him to please contest,he is not our so called saviour as we called the others who have failed but in terms of fixing all these minor problems on our hands,electricity,job creation,economic growth,national rebrand,true Justice,Social infrastructures and amenities,sports and entertainment,family revaluation and culture,state of the art facility
and programs,criminal justice and dare devilry Boko Haram extinction all these I bet will take wholesome new and acceptable form.

I have been carefully studying him from day one out of many and even some who onlu brag underground,and totally wish more Nigerians unselfishly who want simple logical things like Electricity to be a thing of the past to beg Fashola to contest for presidency.
Fine! Bola Tinubu should only be an elder states man and not a presidential candidate,the same thing goes to. Buhari,infact,he shouldn't be allowed closer next to the throne but may be an elder statesman too and I can bet him will do more than aiming for what cannot glorify him.

the time is now, quote me right, if they really want to muzzle power out of PDP, then let them follow this simple steps
1) Let them have a merge of 3 nigerian most ethinic party, APGA/ACN/CPC (u knw what i mean)
2) Let them field less controvasial candidate like Ngige/Ribadu, Ribadu/peter obi, Rochas/El Rufai, Fashola/Ngige, Rochas/Fashola
3) They should 4get abt their old cargos like Buhari"cpc", Tinubu"acn", Akunyili"apga" and convince peeps with their young vibrant talents(pairs as shown in 2 above)
4) They will religate the issue of ethinicity, race, religion or tribe since the party is based on WAZOBIA and focus on geting the Aso Rock KeY.
By following this simple but effective and result oriented steps, i bet u, PDP will not no were to fit in again, no means to 'rig' it is only then that Nigeria will be proud to say we elected our leader, because all the part of naija contributed to the success:
NB: A typical Nigerian man will always like to follow the moving train, in a situation where u see that ur vote is insignificant, u join the crowd. That Y PDP won some time. But with this my strategy, many in PDP will decamp for "WUP" WAZOBIA UNITED PARTY.

For me,Buhari sure can do the job of cleaning this country.
A truth sayer doesn't always have the backing of all.
I am a Yoruba man and a Christian,for once I am seeing beyond tribal and religious sentiment.
Buhari/Fashola or Huhari/Rochas is the way ro go.

A Igbo candidate could help, but all they can guarantee is SE votes if Jonathan runs. That's not enough reason to put a Igbo candidate on top of the ticket of a merged party. Secondly, all the latent talks of seccession and biafra among Ndigbo, has created a deep distrust which is now working against the SE. No one is sure that Igbos are truly ready for one Nigeria. When we have full commitment from their leaders, the situation may change.

There is also the issue of the unwritten agreements which caused all major parties to present a Northerner as their flagbearers for the last Presidential election. A merged party must present a credible Northern candidate, if we want to start healing the damage done by GEJ which is currently contributing to bad economy, bad security, and bad government.

In my humble opinion, power has to return to the "North", if we are to survive as a nation beyond 2015. We cannot ignore the realities of the power sharing arrangement which has kept us together for decades.
