Contestants please pick your dates wisely! You can also pick from the author's whose poetry has no subject. Contestants can own, abduct or even smooch any writer at this point. The power is in your court. Kandii, who are you having for supper today? Denzel? |

Tgirl4real: Your poems are okay, just try and make them a little bit more concise. Keep your reader guessing such that 20 people will read your poem and have 20 different interpretations from the same work. Once you turn to narration your poem will lose the "Wow" factor. Of course, there are times when the opposite would apply. You want to tell the world/someone something and have chosen poetry as the medium. |

Tgirl4real: I have seen many poems here that quite frankly could be much shorter if the poet just took some extra time to choose the appropriate words and streamline his/her thoughts. I am a little bit busy at the moment and will look at your story later within the context of "showing instead of telling." It can be applied to real life now. You can say you love someone and not show it and you can show you love someone without saying it and they would understand perfectly what your feelings are. |

Wasn't here to contest for winner. Was only here cos it provided for me a platform to play wit luv again! To say deep tins from deep within again! Tanks cuddlemii for d concept.. My heart was really cuddled. I only wish we connected more! I've always wanted poetic queen. Btw, I must say i enjoyed every bit of it!
