femmysin: Lesson to learn from his life; Money does not create man, but it is man who creates money. Live your life as simple as you are Don’t do what others say, just listen to them but do what you feel is good Don’t go on brand names; just wear those things you feel comfortable in Don’t waste your money on unnecessary things; spend on those who really are in need. After all it’s your life, then why give chance to others to rule our lives? The happiest people do not necessarily have the best of all; they simply appreciate what they find on their way. Uhmmmmmm, Is it possible for a multiple billionaire to be living like a thousanaire? Grace makes the difference. Wow! I live by these principles, does that mean my billions is on its way already |

Investment › Saving In Foreign Currencies- The Anambra Case by 9inches(op): 12:48am On Mar 19, 2015 |
...just before the end of his tenure, – Governor Obi announced to a stunned audience that Anambra State had accumulated savings to the tune of N75 billion – denominated into assets as well as local and foreign currencies. The audience, not one to be toyed with, included former Commonwealth Secretary-General, Chief Emeka Anyaoku; Finance Minister, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala; heads of churches in the state, CSOs and media executives. A recent inquiry with a senior banker revealed that the foreign currency savings bequeathed by the Obi administration, which was $156, 000 million then (variously in Fidelity Bank US$56 million; Access Bank, US$50 million; and Diamond Bank, US$50million), which he presented publicly in the presence of the referred banks CEOs, has, with interest, appreciated to about $171, 500.000 million.
A curious enquiry at the Bureau de change showed on their board that the exchange rate is now N228 to the dollar. With the above exchange rate, the money now stands at approximately N39 billion. This excludes the local currency and assets components of the savings. If one follows the same calculation, it will now amount to about N100 billion, without putting into consideration additional savings from his successor, Willie Obiano, which I believe that based on his electoral promises has continued the savings culture. http://sunnewsonline.com/new/?p=109541 This simply means the more naira goes down in value against the USD, the more gain Anambra gets from her USD savings. |

Obiano Flags Off Mgbakwu Agric Training College
Anambra state governor, Willie Obiano, has inaugurated the State Youth Agricultural Training Programme with 250 youths in the first phase. The governor who reiterated his commitment to continue improving agricultural development in the state noted that the training will help provide the needed manpower that will drive the ongoing revolution in the agricultural sector, which will in turn boost food sufficiency, improve the economic value of the state and attract more investors into the state.
Similarly, the governor also commissioned additional school blocks constructed in two schools in Okpuno and Amawbia to meet the accommodation challenges of the schools.
Addressing the trainees and other participants in the event, the governor promised that youths would be properly empowered to become self-reliant and contribute in achieving the vision of the state in agricultural area of food sufficiency, economic value improvement and attraction of investors.
He also announced the donation of two buses to the center as well as assured them of a new structure to provide adequate accommodation for the trainees.
The governor and his entourage proceeded to Okpuno in Awka South local government area, where he commissioned at Okochi Migrant Farmers Basic School a new school block of nine classrooms, with administrative office and library.
The governor also announced that the state government would build 50 new migrant schools across the state to bring education closer to people and give every child access to functional and quality education.
At Okochi Migrant Farmers Basic School, he directed the Ministry of Education to ensure immediate provision of water and toilet facilities in the school.
The governor rounded off the day’s activities at Community Secondary School, Amawbia, where he commissioned two school blocks of five classrooms each with white chalk boards. |

oneeast: Rubbish. Does that explain why Obiano did not sign the C-of-O we applied for close to one year now? Why must he skip some files including ours to sign others that came after us? He will hear more of this.. Lol.. I can also tell you that we are so professional that sometimes, we have 120 proposals and 111 of them are not good, which means we are very selective. But once you meet our policy requirements, we can tell you that it will be given express treatment.
Some of the MOUs we’re signing today, we made first contact with those involved in December and we’re signing it in late January. That is the speed with which we pursue these proposals because my board meets twice a month, largely to consider proposals and review the ones we have." - Mr. Joe Billy Ekwunife (ANSIPPA boss) So oneeast, go check where your own belong? |

Used a 1 naira coin to pound them well so that they were low and balanced. Used the grey bands under the cork to wrap round them and reserved the white for the captains. Goalkeepers were double pounded.(used two covers, pounded em together and bent em) buttons were used as balls. God knows how many shirts went buttonless during that 3 year period. Goalposts-sugar cartons. Ah,those heady days. Sigh... Your head is there bro. I condemned a couple of wall calendars to use as jersey numbers. chai! @bolded, we used music cassette spools. I still regret how many of my dad's good ol song collections I damaged while collecting different colours of those pair of miniature spools to use as balls. I sold them too especially the coloured spools. Thank God for the internet, my old man can get his songs back! |
