AlPeter:Sorry! that's what I tell people like you cus I know you must have had a terrible childhood, it reflects in your personality. Again, you just showed the world how low your IQ is. So, PDP was to turn Nigerian health system, educational system and other sectors from the rot of pre 1999 to the best in the world in 16 years. Amazing, how daft can people be. If you were intelligent, you would have given me a superiors argument based on what I said, maybe compare rate of development of the key areas I mentioned per decade from 1960 to date and show us logically how for eg the first decade of PDP rule destroyed the gains Nigeria made before they took power. A bubble head like you will of course believe in magic or the kind of abrakatabra seen in Nollywood where with a snap of the fingers you can turn things around. Grow up kid. |
Buhari did not just inherit a larger amount of money, he inherited a far better Nigeria than what OBJ met in 1999. I really forgive him when he says PDP destroyed Nigeria in the last 16 years because after PTF, he went to Daura, God knows if he was aware of what was happening in Kastina town, let alone what was happening in Nigeria. Maybe we should enlighten him and his ignorant supporters. We need people to ask these questions: 1. How many Universities were in Nigeria before 1999 (private and public), and how many do we have now. 2. How many other tertiary institutions were in Nigeria before 1999 and how many did we have by 2015 3. How many federal Medical Centres and other tertiary health centres were in Nigeria before 1999 and how many did we have by 2015 4. How many government agencies were in Nigeria before 1999 and how many did we have by 2015 5. How many people were in federal government payroll in Nigeria before 1999 and how many did we have by 2015 6. What was the minimum wage in Nigeria in 1998 and what was it in 2000, remember what Nigeria had in reserve and the turnaround in the earning of public servants 7. Compare the manpower in the public institutions in terms of number and capacity, number of government funded training for lecturers and doctors and other public servants before 1999 and after. 8. Compare how many kilometers of road paved in Nigeria before 1999 and how many in 2015 9. compare number of dualized roads by 1999 and by 2015 10. compare how many communities were linked to the national grid by 1999 and by 2015 11. I don't want to talk about tele-communication. 12. compare the size of middle class in Nigeria in 1999 an by 2015 13. compare our banking sector before 1999 and by 2015 and then by 2016 14. compare our democracy, particularly INEC of 2014 and INEC of 2016 15. Compare the number of new cars in Nigeria in 1999 and the number today ( i am not talking about tokumbo) 16. compare the rail system before 1999 and today And so on and so on. After making the comparisons, I guess I will not be the one that will make you tell APC "shut-up". If Buhari is lamenting when he not only inherited a better Nigeria, but a more reasonable sum of money, it means if he had become the President by 1999, Nigerians would have asked the military to come back. But it is good he is here today, we have to deal with his problem once and for all so that he will retire back silently to Daura and remain silent for ever, otherwise he would have been causing tension with his threats and his followers would have continued to dress him in borrowed robes. Too bad for him, he should have known that the best actor is the on that leaves the stage when the ovation is high-Gej comes to mind. |
1freshdude:Hmmm, seriously these lies have been told for too long. I know it is a deliberate attempt to re-calibrate Nigerians' mind on the person and achievements of GEJ, because when you tell a lie over and over again, even the person saying it begins to believe it. Please do me a favour, can you use the same energy to tell us specifically those actions, and policies of GEJ that made this present government not to function. Prove to us you are not being spinned to believe rubbish, tell us in your own argument how and what. And do well do reduce your characteristic foul language. |
mightykabex670:Please, I need to know, what are the teachings of God, when and where did God come to teach you what ever you believe. Seriously, this is indeed getting out of hand. I need to tell you this, the greatest problem we have today are the two Abrahamic religions (Islam and Christianity). Some people coined some belief system and sold it to the world and we are killing our selves because of it. When God created your fore fathers, which belief system did he give them. If you believe in God, and that he created you, are you telling me that he did not know what he was doing by creating you into a race and a way of life and a way to worship him. You are here flexing your muscles over the conjecture of another man. Now, talking about Islam, and what you claim it is. You see, you are busy telling me what your Quran says, I don't care about that because I don't believe in it and it does not rule my life, what I care is how the life of my fellow may affects mine, so if you say Islam preaches peace and over 60% of global crises/war has root in Islam, I think you will be the most shameful to connect Islam to the word "peace". So tell me, how come the most unstable societies in the world are Muslim countries. Of course you will accuse some countries for instigating war in the Muslim countries, I ask again, how can a peace loving man be easily lured into war. Seriously, the kind of brainwashing in Islam needs to be studied, that model is unrivaled. If Islam is a religion of peace, you do not need to make effort explaining that to me. If you talk about Buddhism I may listen, but Islam? that's a joke |
Two things, either you know the truth and you deliberately and mischievously decided to spew this rubbish, or you are the most ignoramus in the human race. Go on, keep making a mockery of your self and what ever you believe. mightykabex670: |
I really understand what you are passing through. In your mind you want to believe you are defending a working president/government, but that's not the truth. It is what they call "living in denial". You seriously do not want to believe you were wrong by the choice you made, worst still believe that by your choice you helped put Nigerian in the present predicament. I have heard many people talk about our problem being caused by past administration. I have few questions to ask: 1. how come in the peak of the worst government, things were stable and immediately, I mean in mater of weeks after APC took over, things turned full circle. How come! was the economy waiting for Buhari to take over before it collapsed totally or was PDP performing a kind of magic to keep Nigeria going even while it was dead already, if so why can't APC perform same magic to keep us alive or at least make feel like we are alive. 2. How come all the contractors were on site (IBADAN/Lagos road, Shagamu/Ore Road, 2nd Niger bridge etc), they were working until PMB asked them to go home, does it mean they were working without pay or even if they were working with their money, they believed the government enough to invest their money, why can't PMB perform that same "magic" GEJ performed to Keep work going even with "dead" economy. 3. How come our power supply was relatively ok, APC said they had a better idea on how to protect our pipelines and ensure regular gas/power supply, and now they have lost the ideas. 3. How come PDP inherited Nigeria in it ever worst state in history, they picked it up, with no money left by Abdusalami and with crude in all time low, they were able to increase crude supply, increase income even with the MEND wahala, they massively Increased minimum wage, massively increased staff capacity of government agencies, they embacked on the largest infrastructure development post civil war and developed our democracy to the point that in 16 years, opposition party won election, yet APC inherited a far better Nigeria, with larger income and reserve better than PDP inherited in 1999, yet they have turn Nigeria back to where Nigeria was in 1998, and cannot conduct successfully even a senatorial election, without complains here and there. 4. How come PDP was able to set up anti corruption agencies (ICPC and EFCC), prosecuted their top party men, (governors, Bankole, former senate president, former PDP chairmen and their family members), yet APC, they so called anti-corruption party is yet to invite not even one of their members for questioning. Listen, we can go on and on debating this issue, the truth can only be told to you by your self. Go into your room and ask your self the question "did Nigerians make the right choice in APC". You keep amplifying the lies that "you all know where Nigeria headed before APC took over", I don't know where you saw us going, for me I saw Nigeria moving higher as the biggest economy in Africa, the 3rd fastest growing economy in the world, a potential net exporter of Rice, an automobile hub in west Africa, the most developed democracy in Africa and on. That was what I saw before now, and I ask you, in this APC/your government, where are you seeing Nigeria headed. Keep the answer to your self. |
HungerBAD:Even as you are tying this, I can bet that you are having a heavy heart out of the guilt of lies and denials you have put your self in. I am sorry dear, but if I were you, I will ask for restitution. |

omenka:My friend, stop exposing your ignorance boldly in the full glare of everyone. |
Abeg, where is everybody. What is happening here tells you why we are here today. Ha, if you heard Deziani's Name here or FFK or Fayose or Metu, ooooh lord, all the imbeciles with free MB in their tecno phones would have turned to smart intellectuals and political analysts, dishing out analysis how the money they embezzled led to the death of soldiers. Now before you call me Wailer or what ever you call it, I am not making case for anybody, but if an issue like this is brought up now, with this our hash economic realities, I expected to see people reactive constructively and make demands, raise the dust and make the government even look if it is true or false. But see, everyone has gone to hide because it is happening where they don't want to criticise. This is one reason I hate this Arsenal vs ManU behavior we have today. For some of us, it is like supporting a football team, the team has to be right all time. |
Just look at what young Nigerians are saying, that tells you that our society is filled with hugely uninformed Youths who claim to be educated. Simple my dear, nothing concern you and the transaction, all you know is that you kept your part of the initial contract. Infact, start by suing for the inconveniences put to you by removing those things in your house. You pay for your light and he prevented you from enjoying it, let alone the house you paid for. If the so called landlord does not know the law, teach him the law. If he likes let him bring Arase him self, do not shake, but make sure you stay away from any trouble he can hold hands on. I can assure you if he know the law, he would not be messing the way he is doing. Again, you guys should come together and give him a legal battle. For sure, as long as the case is in court, no transaction will go on there and you will still be in the house. If the case last for 20 years, you will remain there until issues are resolved and you pay for the time you spent based on the current rent. It will be win win for you. Do not mind those bubble heads that keep telling you to go and beg, go and pray or run and look for another house. I have had such experience, my care taker was forming Kingkom, scared every other tenant away, even my next door neighbor who agreed to fight the battle with me ran. But when my care take saw what I was planning for him, hmmm, he started asking for mercy, he later allowed me to stay. I was the one that left when I decided. It is terrible that our young people whose went to school do not know one bit of the law. If it is to curse or yabb each other, they will show expertise, Tufia! |
gretblue:You that is too sure and very informed about the financial status of the directors of multinational oil cooperation. Very annoying to read what some juveniles are writing. The most annoying is that they know nothing, and they keep making bold ignorant arguments. For your information, there are very few women in the status of Deziani in the world, not just in Nigeria. You people are finding it difficult to swallow that the person you have been insulting is probably richer than Osun state, even without being a minister. Tinubu you guy are adoring also worked in the oil company as an auditor, so what do you say about him. If an auditor of an oil company is as rich as Tinubu, what do you expect from the Director. |
buharisbae:It is always very easy to discover those that had troubled childhood, those that were molested and those that grew up envying their peers that had more toys, and other items than them. They are the type that destroyed their friend's toys because he/she didn't have one. They grow up having with them overflowing bile, filled with bitterness, always blaming others for their "inefficiencies". They know how to destroy the image of anybody shining cus the will always ask in their mind "why must it be them every-time". Sorry Ma, I only blame those that raised the monster in you. The much you can do to help our society,(at least) is to send your children to a decent foster home, cus I don't see you, with all this bitterness, being able to raise a decent child. Sorry again. |
MossadAgent:well said my dear, but I must say the strategy is not just in the direction you are looking at it. Infact, the most potent is the population multiplication strategy. I must say this, in the next 50 years, the population of Muslims and Christians in Nigeria will be in the ratio of 4:1. Unfortunately, the Christians in Nigeria are foolishly captured by the western strategy of population control. What is happening in Europe today will happen in Nigeria in no distance time. Population of Muslims are increasing massively, while the white christian, atheist, free thinkers and the rest of them that have discovered a new world order of right to gays and power to the women, they keep shrinking in population because they are not reproducing and they few that are, only give birth to one or two. The Muslims on the other hand are Marrying early, have are many as 7 children in USA and Europe. Same is the problem with the so called "modern, civilized" Christian Nigerians who are whiter than the white. They have adopted the system stupid mindset, first they marry late cus of some stupid standards they set, when they marry, they give birth to only one or two. It is common to hear ladies these days telling you they cannot have more than one or two. This is common among southern christian ladies. Listen people, the Nigerian Muslims will keep being in power because they will present a population that you cannot beat, and so they will tell who becomes president. They can decide that no Christian becomes president and you will do nothing about it. While we blow our trumpets broadcasting the fears on Islamization with BH, and herds men, the main danger is the one we are putting our selves into. Kwanknwaso was not a fool to organise mass wedding for some guys in Kano> He is planning for 20 years time. What are the Christians doing. Let them keep buying all the air time in TV and radio stations, when it happens, the churches will become museums. Let the smart ones reason. The danger is being fuel by our newly found life-style. |
papparatzzi2013:Sorry, your problem is spiritual, stop blaming GEJ. |
Quakertellicus1:Bingo! I have seen one of them. Those that criticize by default without reasoning, those that draw their swords at the mention of PMB, those that are most affected by the charms of the spin doctors. Look at him, claiming the OP suggested that subsidy be retained. I salut you sir, and I ask "how market". |
oduastates:Amazing my dear. I can imagine the burden on your spirit knowing that you were wrong or you were fooled. Just quit the play around, blow all the grammar you can't justify your action. Really? because GEJ and his comrades embezzled money, you decided that the only way to deal with them was to put you finger into the fire. How convenient, so you actually knew it was not right to keep the subsidy but because you did not like GEJ's govt, you decided to support that which has created more problem than the money they were supposedly embezzling. Accept my condolence sir. |
Sweetlemon:Bros, seriously I would like to see your face. sometime I wonder what fellows like you look like. Are you reallly saying this with sincerity or being sarcastic. Apart from the last 2 months of Jonathan that APC machineries crumbled Nigeria to make GEJ leave a very ugly impression on Nigerians as he was leaving, tell me in the 6 years of GEJ when you had it so horrible. despite the fact that crude oil price crashed, Nigerians are buying it higher than when crude was 0ver 100$/barrel. when GEJ reduced the price from 97 to 86, APC was asking why the price should not come to 40 naira given the global price. But look at your life. I understand your burden, it is called guilty conscience. you will keep carrying it and keep polluting your sould with lies to defend your horrible decision to vote APC. |
Naijacitizen:Why I have forgiven some bubble heads who keep talking rubbish about PDP Wasting 16 years is because I know that over 90% of the youths of today had no access to News paper, CNN or any other genuine news other than the local FM and AM radio programs in the 90s. In fact, some of them didn't know the Nigeria they were living in. Ok, if you know any civil servant that was working before PDP took over, ask him/her how much directors were paid that time. Ask how much Profs. were earning. And really I want to challenge these fellows that keep saying PDP destroyed Nigeria in the past 16 year, tell me any thing that was exiting/function well before PDP came that is no longer there or destroyed. If you give me 1, I will give you 100 thing that never existed that PDP fixed/brought. |
NextGovernor:Gentle man, there is nothing like common man. You are either a sensible and responsible person or not. People should not always cook up sentiments with the notion of being concerned about the lower economic class. If you are concerned about the "common man", why do you always want to condemn them to accepting only the substandard lifestyle. they have the right to enjoy a sane environment too. Now about the issue in question, it took strong men like El Rufai, Ohakim etc to standard by their conviction and banned the operation of Okada. The so called common man is enjoying the serenity of Abuja today. Even when the talk about stopping small buses in Abuja came up, some people said it will not work. But behold, abuja is clean without the craze of miscreants. That is what a modern city should be like, not like the den of rascals. |
phemybof:And people keep talking this trash. If you were up to the age of reasoning by 1998, you would understand better the state of the country when PDP took over. They built it up in every sense, up to the point of giving you the freedom to even air your criticisms. They built the middle class that was not existing at all before 1999, the put all the sectors of the economy and all aspects of nationhood on a direction (if they moved it forward rapidly or slowly is a different thing). Bottom line, APC inherited a Nigeria that had a standing unlike PDP that inherited the corpse of a nation. And I ask you, if you complain that people make demands from APC government that needs only to build up Nigeria from where PDP stopped (or the 16 years of little achievements) , why should you criticize PDP that inherited 39 years rot. And can someone remind me how much PDP met in the reserve when they took over together with the wretched state of everything in Nigeria, and compare it with what PDP left for APC along with an economy that was arguably one of the fastest in growth. I wish some of you can slow down some times, and really do propaganda-detox. The lies are too much that they are begining to sound true to the little minded fellows. |
nairamaniac: |
First, I want to assure u one thing, for calling Gej foolish, a former president of Nigeria, and someone obviously older than u, u and ur generations will never occupy leadership position even class monitor. You cannot insult a position and hope to occupy it. I want to assure u also that even after ur 10th generation, non will reach 20% of Gej's achievement in life. Now to ur falacy, when people were accusing APC of sabotaging the power sector people thought PDP was playing politics. Let me ask u, since APC won, have u heard of gas pipeline vandalism the way it was months back. Why did they run away. Now, u will be tempted to tell me it is the fear of Buhari, that means u will agree that people intentionally decided to frustrate Jonathan's govt to make him look bad, now that he's gone, they have suddenly realized what's wrong. And buhari is a just disciplined man, he has not queried them for aiding and abating felony. You guys have sold ur souls such that u no longer see wrong things as bad, so long as it is against PDP. Goodluck. |
Thank you! Now everybody is saying support him, "give him a chance". How criticism is now tagged "hate" comments. I totally do not support the act of rubbishing the personality of the Nigerian president. I am aware that an insult on the president is an insult on Nigeria. But the APC guy do not get that. Eg, they keep giving reason why America did not work with GEJ but will work with Buhari. Now the question is, are u saying denying support for PDP govt. Was not denying Nigeria support? So, because they don't like the face of Jonathan, they closed their eyes and watched people die, and some APC guys are justifying that? And I keep asking this question; how come the only money Americans see is the money in Abacha and Jonathan's government. That is very instructive about these two presidents and American policies. Honestly, some times I lose faith in our young people and their intellectual depth. Another eg, some people are chanting around that because of the body language of the president, some agencies have started working. Really, and we are blaming GEJ. No body has asked those fellows to be brought to book since they intentionally crippled Nigeria or aided/abated that. Yet, everyone is busy decicrating the most important sit in our nation. This is not about the person of the president, but the authority he is carrying, which the Nigerian people gave him. By interpretation, each time u insult the presidency, u have told us that Nigerians have no supremacy that should be respected. |
Demdem2:Hmmmmm! Ok ooo, I am happy that if those of us young people today who cannot tell how the man started or what his legacies are, we can at least tell how he ended. We know the later part of his life was the true definition of hell. If I were to be his son (thank God I am not), I would have openly asked for forgiveness on behalf of his father. I am sure the curse the man is carrying will be enough for 5 generations after him. And for you celebrating him hear this: May your life be like that of Adekunle. If u don't say amen it means u are spineless. |
sweetgala:My dear, this cliche about Buhari and discipline is getting boring. It is funny nobody has pointed out an important omission on the Buhari entourage. In present day Nigeria, our president is making a diplomatic visit to a country as important as USA, just take a look at people he went with. This is one area u cannot fault GEJ, he was in the habit of traveling with a team of top business men in Nigeria in the telecom, manufacturing, banking and oil/gas. That's why Nigerian brands are in many African countries: dangote in senegal etc, UBA in other side, glo and others in oil and gas. That is what a smart president does - using the opportunity to lobby for business interest with the best business team involved. Our president has brought back the era of agwada entourage, the few top bankers that managed to show face, they tagged them PDP loyalist. Tell me why the should not like GEJ who projected their interest. Nawaaa! |
