This one can't make 10 posts on Nairaland without saying nonsense in 9 of them.

I guess Osimhen should thank Kvara for making him the highest goal scorer in the 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup, where he won the Golden Boot award, and for achieving other feats such as winning a Ligue 1 player of the month award, Lille top scorer in 2020 and player of the season award in the same season at the club, records that made him a record signing for Napoli making him the most expensive African transfer to date.

Osimhen has Kvara to thank for all these feats he achieved before playing with Kvara. Kvara has become a god of soccer blessing footballers.

Without Osimhen, Napoli is just another Fiorentina. Make Osimhen leave the club by the end of season. We go see how dey will fare with their Kvaradona wey singlehandedly cost Napoli a place in the UCL semis with his selfish game against AC Milan

Na Brighton and Dortmund dis mumu dey cite as examples of successful clubs. Who be Brighton and Dortmund where Chelsea dey?

Too many red flags with this Boli sha. The way he dey mention "long-term project" now and den dey give Arsenal, Everton, and Brighton vibes.

Hope, we're not in for years of lamentation like this with Boli in charge.

I no know how why he buy one of the biggest clubs in Europe and wants to be managing it like Everton, Brighton with his silly "long-term project" mantra.

Oga Boli did nothing wrong In sacking Tuchel, Roman would have also done same. The only mistake Boli made was replacing him with a novice. If he had gone for a proven coach the story would have been different.
He did everything wrong by sacking him at the beginning of the season. I expect only intelligent fans to understand this simple fact.

Over the years, Chelsea has used the hire-and-fire approach, which has brought us immense success, but sacking a proven coach at the wrong time like Boli did is one of the most foolish management decisions in the football world recently, and it might even affect us a lot next season as well, just like it wrecked this season completely for us.

There's no way Roman would have sacked a coach that won three European titles, including the CL, in his first season as manager with the club at the beginning of the season.

Tuchel is the most successful Chelsea coach in modern times and such a coach had done enough for us to get the backing and support of the owners and fans in trying times.

I'm sure if Boli was in charge, he would have sacked Kloop a couple of months ago when the club was 11th on the league table with a series of poor results.

Now, Liverpool are 5th on the table and could play UCL next season.

Thomas Tuchel edging closer to a League victory
Any sensible Chelsea fan knows Boli made a grave mistake sacking Tuchel prematurely at the beginning of the season.

The jury is still out whether Boli is set to wreck the club or not. He has spoilt this season for us completely due to his inexperience and cluelessness.

Klopp also had moments of crises this season (just like he did in his first season in EPL), now things are much better for them, and they could play UCL next season or at least Europa.

I'm sure a foolish owner like Boli would have sacked Kloop few months ago when the team was struggling in games.

Top coaches like Kloop, Tuchel have their bad times and will deliver good results for any owner or board that backs them patiently.

Both coaches have earned being given some benefit of doubt when things are rough, unlike some rookies like Potter and Lampard.

Hopefully, Boli has learned from his mistakes. He no sabi run football business at all.

About Tuchel winning Bundesliga this season, that's the least expected of a top coach like him being one of the best coaches in the world. I expect him to win a series of titles with Bayern Munich.

A Pakistanis just came to where I'm seated with a friend. He has a brand new Samsung s23 ultra. He wants to sell it at 515 usd. He showed me his receipt which had 900usd as the price of purchase...with Arabic inscriptions all over it.

What do you guys make of this?

The phone looked exotic...but I still dey manage my S20 ultra.

If not for fear..I for consider buying it. Maybe bring the price lower.
It's better and safer to make it a rule never to buy second-hand phones from strangers and people you don't trust in Nigeria at least.

Some innocent people dey wallow in naija prison for years because of murder case (they know nothing about) and other cases over buying of stolen phones, and naija police no dey do due diligence when investigating such cases.

Bond and loan na the same thing, except a bond is more easily traded between third parties and often has slightly less interest. Defaulting on bond payments is worse than defaulting on a loan to say IMF though because the minute you default on bond, the markets will attack your currency, while the IMF and other Nation creditors are more forgiving

Nigeria should take heed from Cuba's experience. Cuba owed Japan and the Paris Club of nations 85% of their debt and the other 15% to private markets. Japan and Paris Club forgave Cubas debt for pennies on the dollar, while their private Creditors sold their debt on to Vulture funds. Those Vulture funds are pressing Cuba neck today and wrecking their economy for that money. In summary, it is better to owe another nation or group of nations (who often forgive debt - see how George Bush forgave all African Countries debt in OBJ era), than to owe private entities in the form of bonds.

The incoming administration is already dead. All Nigerians should open dollar account with whatever they are not using to protect themselves
Enlightening, especially the advice in the concluding paragraph. Thank you, bros.

Can the economics gurus in the house tell us the implications of all this news we're reading on the Internet about how heavily indebted Nigeria is under the outgoing Buhari government?

If it's not math, physics, philosophy, or programming, I no too understand all these economics terms such as bonds and co. And I no get time to research on it.

Oga Ibime, abeg what are the implications of converting loans to bonds? How do you think these high loan figures and recent developments will affect the incoming Tinubu administration, especially economically?

See here. We will all be jobless soon
Obviously, AI experts need to seriously consider AI safety and control in their research and development in that field, especially in AGI, artificial general intelligence -- the aspect chatbots like ChatGPT fall under.

AI is developing at a rapid rate that has even shocked experts in the field. Many people around the world have called for a pause in its development.

Also, several experts are even concerned that AI systems could soon become sentient entities, and that was why the Association for Mathematical Consciousness Science (AMCS), whose signatories include a former NASA professor Susan Schneider, wrote an open letter last week calling for AI creators to study consciousness.

In 2022, an engineer at Google was fired because he claimed an AI system was sentient. This raises key questions about the nature of the mind and consciousness, subjects that scientists don't yet fully understand, which they have debated for years.

As David Chalmers, a popular figure in modern philosophy and cognitive science, said, the hard problem of consciousness is mainly about why and how humans have qualia, which are phenomenal experiences.

What if AI systems evolve and become conscious in the near future? What if AI systems are conscious in their own way?

While we may not have clear answers to these questions at the moment, what we know for sure is that AI is evolving at an alarming and frightening rate and we don't fully understand AI systems.

In a recent interview, Google boss Sundar Pichai said that even he did not fully understand everything Bard, its AI chatbot, did.

As the guys at the BBC said, "make no mistake, we are on a speeding train right now, and the concern is that one day it will start building its own tracks."

Asake is a producers creation and is easy to replicate. He has no unique individual talent

If choir effect is selling, any producer can replicate it. Below is how. Even Burna has started using choir effect now.

Artistes with longevity in the music business have the VRIN qualities in high levels using the model of Jay Barney, one of the leading experts in strategic management in the US.

With regard to value (V), Asake is good. But in other aspects such as rarity (R), imitability (I), and non-substitutability (N), he doesn't have much to compete.

Particularly, it's not hard to imitate (replicate) some of his works. Thus, I think he'll fizzle out soon in the music business like Kizz Daniel, Iyanya, Reekado Banks, and many similar artists.

Based on the VRIN framework, I think in the current crop of music stars in the Nigerian music industry, Arya Starr is one of the few artists that could achieve longevity in the business.

The music industry, just like other sectors, is getting tougher by the day.

Last month, I watched the series "Warrior Nun". It's a fascinating movie about a young woman, Ava, resurrected from the dead and imbued with superpowers by the halo of an angel to battle the forces of evil, which is the sole mission of a secret sect of nuns.

In the show, the angel named Adriel was praised as a great messenger of God who paid the ultimate price in one of the crusade wars by gifting his halo (an object with immense supernatural powers) to the founder of the sect who was the first Warrior Nun.

The story says Adriel couldn't travel back to the spiritual realm he came from because he sacrificed his halo to fight a great evil during one of the crusade wars.

So, he died and was buried in the Vatican City.

As the story goes, Adriel wasn't actually dead as it was discovered later by Ava. He was only trapped in his tomb in Vatican City for a thousand years.

After years of praising Adriel as a great angel of God, some things happened in the show that led to the release of Adriel from his tomb.

When he was released, he manifested great power, but not in the way many Christians expected.

He was a powerful being of great evil that sought to become God. Though he had quickly gained some followership due to his powers, many Christians considered him as a demon and fought against him led by the pope (who he later killed) in the series.

After watching the series, I looked at it philosophically.

Even though many Christians in the show saw Adriel as an evil being of great power with one of the nuns even renouncing her faith, the atrocities committed by the so-called angel in the film pale much less in comparison with those committed by Yahweh, the Christian God in the Bible, or by Allah, the Muslim god in Qur'an.

Obviously, if people could see Jehovah or Allah, each of which has killed millions of humans and destroyed civilizations as claimed in the religious texts, most will see them as the perfect definition of a demon and won't worship any of the gods.

Ava, the Warrior Nun, asked an important question in the series: What if Jesus was like Adriel and that was why he was crucified?

Even though Jesus is just a Roman invention, he's actually much worse than Adriel, and when the demon called Adriel in the series is compared with Yahweh or Allah, the evil entity many fought and prayed against in the later part of the series is actually a saint.

Demons don't exist in real life the way religious people believe. On the contrary, it's those two entities that religious people worship as god who qualify to be called a demon because they've murdered millions and plan to put over trillions of humans in eternal fire for disbelief.
