England has not crossed the quarter finals of any competition since the Euros they hosted in 96 and guess who won? That's right the Mannschaft

2nd place in 02 and 3rd place in 06 with another 2nd place in 08 counts it builds pedigree and that is why they rarely exit tournaments early that is why they don't perenially crumble when shoot outs come calling! That is why England would not get to Germany's level in our lifetime! Germany has a better past and present than England so i don't see the basis for juxtaposing em! I have listed the countries we can compare to England in my previous post

Spain,Holland and England have only ever won 1 international title in their history so whats their difference? 99% of posters where not born when England won their only title! I am really not as suprised as most people i knew those treys would not always fall and the Celtics had 3-4 guys that could guard Dwight which meant less room for the shooters or less open looks! All in all the Celts are too experienced to let this huge advantage slip the best the Magic can hope for is avoid a sweep which i think they would. Orlando's biggest problem especially game 2 was rebounding! I also feel they didn't push the ball hard enough! Orlando shoulda tried to get as many fast break points as possible you don't let a defense like the Celtics to setup their half court D the result is always low percentage shots. Nelson,Williams,Pietrus and Lewis have not played hard enough and Matt Barnes has not stopped anybody

I like the Celts resurgence but if Bynum is dominant and Gasol & Odom click on all cylinders it would be very tough for the Celts to wrestle that title from L.A

Maybe you didn't understand my stance! I used the Bridge issue to point out why such stuff is bad! Can you imagine if both where still team-mates at Chelsea? Maybe we woulda needed to call a coroner. I can imagine if it happened in an NBA setting where because of a card game a ball player brought 4 guns to the locker room to play a prank on his team mates. These squabbles do more harm than good and you can never claim to have team spirit when 5 to 6 players are fighting!
