Rio's excellence didn't rub off on anybody IMHO he doesn't have enough to go round lol. Brown & O'Shea are good players massively under-rated but Vida was special! Evra & VDS helped too but you can live with average full-backs at least most of y'all still think O'shea and Brown are shyte even though that opinion is a poor one,put VDS in Pompey or Wolves and he would concede goals in freight-liners so you see why Vida gets the largest chunk of the credit

I have been watching Ferdie since he was at West Ham abeg he is not fast,Besides speed has never been important for a CB,how fast where Baresi,Nesta,Sammer,Maldini,Kohler,Stam,Keshi and Okechukwu Ferdinand is far more experienced but he aint Vidic's boss i can argue this anywhere Utd's defensive strength came with Vidic's maturity
