You don't have to be especially good at Maths to become a good programmer but its a bonus your ability to think out of the box and try new stuff is what would help you because Maths can get pretty abstract at times and you have to apply real-life scenarios to your programs which go way beyond your knowledge of Maths

I have tried Actionscript coding its pretty difficult especially when you don't get the response you want
