Someone on some show I think it was Cowherd made a salient point that if I were a GM I would strongly consider. He said foreign players generally have this gratitude and loyalty to whatever franchise they're drafted by, they don't care about the market they don't care about anything, they are mature, no egos and you're almost certain they will retire where they're drafted.

And when you think about it it makes sense. Look at Zion for example before he was drafted there was legit fear he wouldn't go to the team with the #1 pick whereas no such issues with Wemby
