Strus can't miss. Turnovers killing the Nuggets |
Kevin Love making an impact here. Lool Jokic. What was that pass This tempo is favoring the Heat. Nuggets have to push the tempo |
Verstappen made it look too easy. Impressive from Hamilton to wind up 2nd. These other guys really aren't a threat. And it's not just the car either else Perez would be up in front with him |
sneakershub8:We all know he's on the team cos his dad owns the team |
Nuggets with a slow start and suddenly Strus and the Heat can't miss. Let's see how they respond |
raumdeuter:My expectations for Hidden shakushaku was low but holy phuck. I don't think even the worst Hazard critic can take credit to have predicted this level of failure |
Roland17:People will find anything to bxtch about if you let them. The cup is contested towards and into the summer. The teams are filled with Canadians. What does it matter? The Knights are stacked. Would be silly to bet against them. I don't know how they're able to assemble a crack squad every season it seems. I think the privilege they were afforded to be able to pick really good players from each team has made them an Allstar team of sorts. Then they get to pick really good #1s from struggling teams guys like Eichel, Marchessault and Stone, pick up Stanley cup winners like Pietrangelo in the D-Line. It's an Allstar squad |
Nuggets committed just 8 fouls all game. Fewest in Finals history They were squeaky clean beyond belief. Even Pat Riley no fit complain |
donlittle25:He shot like he had a hunchback and still made it work. He had a running floater, could slash to the basket. And had a decent bag. Strus doesn't play any D so I can't call him a 3 and D guy so he has no excuse to not having a floater or layup package at least, when you're facing a team like Denver you can't have a black hole on offense. |
A40: donlittle25:That was end of the 3rd. He just switched to Gear 2 in the 4th. Watching the game if Jokic wanted 35 he could get it. These guys have nothing for him. He just wanted to feed others Just calmly scored 12 of Denver's 20 points in the final quarter |
donlittle25:This 3pt spamming I dey always talk it has really ruined the game. What happens is players have no other way to score and are essentially useless on the court. I mean even Shawn Marion had the ugliest jumpshot in league history but had other moves to score. All these guys do is spam 3s finish They have pretty much wasted Bam's only good offensive game of the series |
Roland17:The only way this series is close is if the Heat shoot as well as they did in the Bucks and Celtics series. If they can shoot at that clip then I will accept they are a team of destiny |
Roland17:The size disparity is going to be a problem all series long. The Heat have heart sha but when Jamal Murray is the smallest guy in your opponent's rotation you know you might be in for a short series |
All that 3pt spamming by Strus. These one dimensional players ![]() |
The way Jokic has manipulated this game. This is triple double without breaking a sweat. He's on 15pts but you know he can score 30. Takes a special player to know what you have around and just feed everyone else while you sit on your 5 shots |
birdman:Shannon has probably gotten tired of being little boy'd. Between the Brady and Damar Hamlin incident there's only so much you can take as a man. Even if someone gave you your media breakthrough doesn't mean they hang it over your head the rest of your life |
Yeah this is looking like a short series. I've been wrong before sha but I can see certain guys revert to being pumpkins. And that Denver altitude man. I looked it up. They have the highest percentage differential between home and road wins in league history |
monerozi5590:You're right. Whatever happens the indecision of Buhari is not what Nigerians can afford. Tinubu sold himself to some as an economic fixer. Now is the time to show and prove. Enu o se Durella. |
monerozi5590:Whenever it is his tenure expires. He should be in Black maria |
Emaprince:Hope is not a strategy bro. I'm seeing subsidy removal which is good but we're not seeing reduced costs of governance. Presidents, Governors, lawmakers are not taking paycuts. None of them are leading by example so I don't understand this morbid optimism the average Nigerian seems to have |
Roland17:Omolomo went to secure the bag. The best job. No pressure. Big money. Limited expectations and hopefully coachable players |
TrebleChamp:Someone that's supposed to be inside Black Maria ![]() I feel bad for anyone expecting miracle from Tinubu |
Ibunkun1:Our favorite relapsing striker. Citadel legend |
Sevilla head too strong for Mourinho |
Segedinho:If Nigeria was a sane country shouldn't this Sirika person be in Black Maria by now |
OasisX:LG is the best. Expire where? |
Android17:They're not serious. All this cos they chose to side with a hussy. Unless he knacked the wife of the owner himself what is the sense in firing him. Does that undo the knacks? The team had a lot of bad habits that Udoka was checking and looking at the players themselves they were very upset at Udoka getting axed. They're a very talented team but very much a work in progress. Sacking Udoka they must have arrogantly assumed anyone could just come in and do what he did forgetting the turnaround job he did to where they now see a title challenge as their birthright |
Roland17:When they say it's better to keep quiet and let people assume you're a mumu than to talk and remove all doubt. He's exactly what we're talking about. Overall your Celtics are a very indisciplined team it must be said, I don't recall a team that lost 6 home games without even making the Finals. That's egregious However there's also a smugness and arrogance I sense with Mazzulla. This is good when you have conviction and know what you're doing not when your clueless like he is. The problem is not even in the lineup IMO. The problem is he's a poor man's D'Antoni and Daryl Morey that believe spamming 3s is the only path to success. Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown have bought into that philosophy and instead of these two big wings to become efficient midrange scorers they become inefficient 3pt spammers. Look at Booker and KD the only two guys that gave the Nuggets any real problems. What did they have in common? Solid midrange game. It's just like golf. Anybody can hit the ball hard and long but the short game is where it's usually won and lost for those who know |
Segedinho:Plane that they rented from Ethiopia and quickly went to return back ![]() Sirika ran quick scam before going out of office |
The real underdogs ![]() Neither the Denver Nuggets nor the Miami Heat were among the top five favorites entering the playoffs.
|
budaatum:Ferrari are just living on their name brand it's a pity they can't provide a competitive car anymore. |
etidy:The more I hear Mazzulla talk the more I realize he's simply unfit for the job. His strategy at this point is send the players on the court and the more 3s we shoot the more we can win. This only works when you have prime Steph and Klay and this is what a lot of these coaches refuse to understand. Even look at that game there was a point they kept missing almost ten 3s straight and at no point did they say let's switch it up Jaylen Brown who used to be a decent 3 level scorer has now embraced Tatum's bad habits of spamming 3s. He's someone that can score exactly like Jimmy does and doesn't need to take more than 3-5 3s a game They shot 9/42. Just to guarantee they had no shot to win and when you hear Mazzulla it's clear that aside spamming 3s nothing else dey him head |
