Khanben:He lost his father in tragic circumstances after a 3peat. That would definitely shake anyone It's not his fault he actually had a present father that he wanted to honor by playing baseball. Some people can't relate but we're not saying it's their fault. Second 3peat. Again what else did Jordan have to prove? Jordan was never pursuing Kareem's record. He's secure in his GOATness. The only thing he chased was titles. After achieving your objective you retire. There's no rule that says you must play for 200 years like Bron just cause he's trying to catch a ghost that keeps evading him. Kareem and Jordan not shooting 3s provide important context for those that want to be objective. Whether he reaches 40k no consign anybody. They're accumulation stats. Alan Shearer is alltime PL goalscorer and his record might never be broken. He's not considered the PL GOAT. |
See how Blake Griffin is spamming 3s and making 5 3pters in a game. When we tell you lot that volume is all that separate players now and the past people will be arguing. You think Shawn Kemp, Jordan, Barkley and other old cats couldn't shoot 33% from 3 if they took 6 a game? You're telling me they can't make 2 3s? Gerrarahia |
benji93:It's a longevity stat. That's all. You played 300 more games and took almost 3000 more FGs than someone aren't you supposed to pass their record? This nigga has taken 500 fewer shots but almost 6500 more 3s than Kareem and 5500 more 3s than Jordan. Yet niggas are surprised he has more points. ![]() |
Lmaoo. How many times has Russell Westbrook led the league in assists? Yet no one with a functional brain calls him a pass first player Una no go kill person with akpuruka punditry. Michael Jordan played in an era where players had fixed roles. A PG was a PG, a SG was a SG. Your team's leading shot attempts taker was typically a shooting guard. Russell Westbrook 6'3 was not averaging more boards and dragging rebounds with Steven Adams. Michael Jordan averaged 11 assists in an NBA Final series out assisting Magic Johnson the GOAT PG. You're high on fentanyl if you think Michael Jordan couldn't lead the league in assists if he wanted in this era. Let's even overlook the fact that the triangle unlike the standard PnR teams play today doesn't allow for 1 single player racking up high number of assists. Go and check any player who's played in the triangle and finished top 10 in assists. Besides in what planet will Lebron lead the league in assists with a John Stockton in the league The scoring argument is laughable. Having that killer mentality to take as many shots as it will take to win a game requires a different level of mentality. When you take the most shots. There is no teammate to blame, if you lose it's your fault. Very few players are built for that smoke every night Jordan did not play in the 3pt era. Explains why he needed 27 shots to get to 37ppg. Common sense And for the record nobody cares if LeNomad likes let him take 45 shots per game. We're seeing the results. 5 games under .500 this season. 33-49 last season. Make e fire down They're losing and he's still not winning the scorer's title ![]() The man is spamming 3s and losing games and this joker thinks we're complaining. ![]() Same way nobody considers Alan Shearer the PL GOAT for being it's record scorer is the same way no real fan considers LeNomad the GOAT. There are levels to this
|
Khanben:Lol go and check Jordan's head to head vs Payton and see how he cooks him on a regular basis. He only had 2 games of any real success against him but that's neither here nor there Nobody is saying modern guys are not as good or whatever. In fact at the bare minimum it is fans today that think players are somehow reinventing the wheel of sports and doing what could never be done. Without factoring rule changes and how much the game is being played different than it was in the past Lebron is #2 in my list so I don't know why anyone would suggest he would not dominate any era. MJ is the GOAT but where I draw the line is how you lot disrespect the players of yore, the other day it was Barkley and then Kemp and I had to watch them play again and ask what is any player today doing with a 6'10 260-270 Shawn Kemp or a 6'5 260 Charles Barkley. Is it the SD camera, short shorts that make you think they are not athletic. Physicality and rules also play a role in the product you see today. Let me give you an example outside basketball. A slot receiver today would be an endangered species in the 70s, 80s, 90s and 00s You know why? Because safeties did not take kindly and had carte blanche to take your head off if you went through the middle. Go and check the best and hardest hitting safeties of all time. You can never find one playing in this era. Slot receivers also wouldn't put up big numbers cause you know when you cross the middle of the field Rodney Harrison was going to shorten your lifespan. |
Oya I no dey congratulate. Go call police ![]() |
Khanben:It's just putting your skilled, talented or whatever argument to bed. Players struggle when the physicality is raised up a notch. The Warriors as a whole were able to match whatever physicality the Celtics brought. We've seen physicality and pressure stop Steph before haven't we? |
benji93:Arguing with these people is a waste of time. They keep forgetting that era also counts. Anybody with two functioning eyes knows that the basketball of the 90s and 00s was just rougher and tougher. When KD and Kyrie two of the most 'skilled" players of all time got a taste of 90s and early 00s ball against the Celtics we saw the results How does someone who can compete with less talent and less gaudy numbers be languishing in 13th seed with AD and Westbrook (two top 75ers) when we tell them numbers today just don't carry the same weight they think it's hate |
Wait sef. You mean amidst all this noise and hullabaloo. Una guy still lose to SGA and Josh Giddey?? All this statpaddin just to be languishing in 13th 2 games behind the 10th seed Be fr. ![]() Anyway this graphic typifies LeStats LeNomad in a nutshell. ![]()

Roland17:Fanboyism no dey allow people think sometimes |
Khanben:Are you drunk? Who wrote an epistle about how Lebron would find it hard to get to the rim in the 90s? What we know is he would have taken significantly more beating and would have had to go to the line more. I'm not like you lot that think human species have evolved physically in the last 30 years. And we're suddenly bigger, faster than our parents were. You lot are the ones under that illusion I'm well aware that great players will dominate in any era including Lebron so you're shadow boxing at this point. |
liveLongNprospa:The truth is the pass first argument has always been a myth. This is what happens when you try to be a detractor and you do too much and start hurting your argument. Lebron could score with the best of them How can someone who's all time 2nd in Field Goal attempts be a pass first player. He also has the shot chart of a center and up till the last 2 seasons took 70% of shots from inside 3ft. Now he's spamming the 3 with reckless abandon. Led the league last season in FGA and is barely second to Luka this year. He was hunting for that record and we don't need to pretend about it |
Khanben:You said all Shawn Kemp could do was dunk. I'm telling you he was a better midrange shooter than Blake Griffin and Lebron. You think if Shawn Kemp is taking 5 3s a game he won't shoot better than 30%. Be fr |
benji93:Bro all they do is spam more 3s. That is literally what they do more often than the older era. Think about it. Kareem made 1 3 his entire career. Guys like Ewing, Hakeem would take 1 3 in 5 years. Be fr and tell me. If there was no hand checking what stops the back in the day PGs from taking as many shots and scoring as often as the guards today. Thanks to positionless basketball you have a Lamelo Ball who's supposed to be facilitator of his team taking 20-25 shots a game. |
birdman:You compare KAT to KG and claim he's more skilled if there's anyone that should not be taken seriously it definitely is you. Go and do your research on Grant Hill and come back to apologize |
Roland17:T-Mac said something about Memphis needing a vet going into the season. It seems the guys in the know know something isn't right with those boys Ja really need to stop displaying this fatherless behavior. He was on Twitter the other day talking about hollow tips. Someone he respects better rein him in and remind him of what he has to lose |
Roland17:These people are funny. He really mentioned Charles Barkley and thought it was a diss. Which player today is stopping a 6'5 250+ pounder. He thinks it's by height |
birdman:Bloody hell. Shawn Kemp was a better midrange shooter (he shot 42.5% from 16-23ft) than Blake Griffin and Lebron James and you think he would be useless in today's league? The league Pascal Siakam is making All NBA? La hawla The way you lot overrate this current set of players is so amusing. But I'm not surprised shey it's you that was comparing KAT to KG |
Khanben:Are you trying to slander Clyde the Glide? Let me try to understand the logic behind this post. You can't name two SFs or SGs today that move the ball up the court as quickly and with as much grace as Clyde Drexler. Arguably the best transition player the league ever saw. Grant Hill was basically Lebron without muscles. What is this guy talking about? This man was 21-8-6 before his ankle injury. Dude was a 6'8 athletic specimen. Go watch tapes man. He had enough tools to not need an elite jumper Just 6'5? Why didn't you list his weight. Charles was 6'5 and 250 pounds. In his younger years he was pushing 300. He was basically Zion before Zion. He would give everyone the business Today!! You see the problem with you today NBA fans is you believe players now are reinventing some type of wheel but I hate to break it to you. The human species has not evolved that much physically over the last 30 years. There's no one today who doesn't have a comp from the past. Not a single player. Without a prototype |
Roland17:Well Kyrie is the first step. Still think they need a big wing on defense. But in late close games Kyrie and Doncic would be absolute nightmares especially in isolation You can't double Doncic anymore. And with a coach like Jason Kidd I'd really want to see the play he draws up. Luka is often compared to Lebron so I don't see why this cannot work if Kyrie does not display his usual skoinskoin. At least for this season that he will need to audition for a big contract |
afrodoc2:He needs another ball dominant guard IMO to lessen the workload on him and to learn how to play with another stay. He has to decide if he wants to be a solo act all his career or if he wants to play with another star and improve his chances to win I don't see why they can't get a big wing like Jae Crowder that can defend. They just need 1 or 2 3 and D guys and they will be fine. The West is wide open. Denver is the only team looking like a machine with Murray and Porter Jr healthy |
kendrick93:Final years? This ninja is 31. Why are you pretending like he's some grandpa He's not even good enough to make bad Spain teams. And tell me what has his contribution been to the Spanish teams he featured in. The two Euros and 1 World Cup he did absolutely nothing I've told you Thiago is a player that's just a football hippie's wet dream. When it comes to actual impact and production he's always nowhere to be found. You will never see a Liverpool big game and Thiago is the difference maker. Same way he wasn't for most of his years at Bayern |
Seems Steph has picked up a pretty serious injury. Saw tibiofibular something something so that must not be good I'm guessing |
donlittle25:Always wanted to see what Kyrie would look like with a legit second guy. This is a very interesting trade. If they can get a big |
Kyrie to the Mavericks. Didn't see that one coming at all |
Roland17:Naah this present generation of players are definitely different. They have normalized load management to the point it's now a culture. Bear in mind Michael Jordan in 13 full seasons they say 15 but he really played 13. Featured in 82 games 9 times! Including his age 40 season. I cannot blame the players and teams when the fans are not voting with their feet. If you're a fan still spending your hard earned money when you're repeatedly burned then you have yourself to blame. Fewer games mean more costs passed down to the customers. Notice nobody has talked about collecting less money. And nor should they. In the end everyone is out to game the system as much as they can. Do the least work for the most money. It's the paying customer that has to decide if he wants to be a MAGA or not |
@kendrick93 Where are you? You cannot say you were not warned. Thiago falling your hand once again We told you Thiago had never been a tide that lifted all boats. He's a passenger on a good team but has never been a lynchpin for Bayern. Thiago is a football hippie's wet dream but when it comes down to it down to the meat and potatoes of midfield play Thiago will never be anywhere to be found with Spain and with Liverpool. Even when we won the treble he did ok but he was not even our best midfielder I warned you not to expect anything from Thiago. 3 seasons, 3 goals and 6 assists later. I have been proven right ![]() |
Jokerman:Neuer picking the worst possible time to whine. I haven't looked at him the same since his World Cup shenanigans. If he cannot lead this team at this crucial moments he should please step aside by season end. He's given enough to Bayern and will forever be remembered in lore but this is simply not Captain behavior |
O ti jo werey. Werey alaso It's the weekend you foolish baboon. ![]() You think everyone spends their working hours felching another adult man like you do. You that come here 24/7 to twerk for the Lakers and Lebron you're doing paid work abi. Asinwin I just wan know if referee dey to blame today? ![]() |
Lol. Thank God no referee to blame today. Though I no go put am past some shameless people ![]() 13 more FTs than the Pelicans 29 more FTs than the Pacers previously |
Khanben:The eye test alone for anyone who's been watching basketball since the mid 90s can tell. Bringing up the European contingent really just buttresses the general argument. Anyone who watched 1999 Spurs or 04 Pistons will not recognize what he is watching today. Just watch Jordan Poole every night and see how he double dribbles or our favorite Ajala and even Giannis carrying like running backs. The whistles are a lot looser There's really no shot protection. Teams are rolling without bigs or bigs that can guard the paint. You cannot hand check Teams are taking 35-45 3's a night. It's a no brainer and I don't see why it needs argument |
Facts don't care about Bronsexual feelings. 29 teams are averaging 109 pts per game. 57 guys are averaging 20 or more per game this season. Never happened in league history |
