Baba, lets rum a little experiment with two teams of different competive spectrums. The Bucks and Celtics. Out of Middleton, Jrue, J Brown, and CJ what rank will you give CJ.
For me he is last, which means if he were in any of their teams, he will be the 4th best player on the Bucks (and 5th most important), the 3rd best player on the Celtics. The dude is highly inconsistent offensively and offers next to nothing defensively so that are we talking about

CJ is better than Brown abeg. Wetin una dey yarn sef? The Jrue is a better facilitator but this idea that Portland is a one man show is myth and urban legend.

This is my problem with this era. You rarely see guys that can score from all parts of the floor. Everyone has bad shooting nights but it's the frequency and predictability. Everyone trying to be Steph instead of finding your own niche and bread and butter on offense

That is how they rewrite history, the same KD-less warriors that had a 2 time MVP, top 5 greatest shooter of all time and a 2x DPOY. Out of the best 5 players in that series it can be argued that 4 were playing for GSW, so please explain how he was supposed to win.
Furthermore the disrespect for Jokic is sickening, when did losing to a team lead by the MVP of the league while averaging 34pts 10 assist and 4 rebounds as a guard equate to underachieving. The series against the Pelicans, out of the best 5players in the series the Pels had 3 of them and also had the best 2 defensive players in the series to boot, anyone who picked the Blazers to win that series should go learn the fundamentals of basketball.

Which series you dey talk in particular? I hope its not 2016 Finals? Who are the best 4 players out of 5 that were playing for GSW

It's not even about the culture and accountability, for me it is fit. Does Simmons fit the Warriors high intense transition scoring offense? Remember, the Warriors do not play through a Big Man like it is done in Philly, everyone should be able to score the basketball especially guard players. Getting Simmons on the Warriors roster will only stall the offense and change how they play. Also, Curry dominates ball handling, how is Simmons supposed to fit?

Which is why I said he will add zilch then when you factor his diva tendencies this worsens things already. Ben Simmons as a player is not mentally built for the grind of the playoffs.Even his game is not built for the playoffs, with less transition and more halfcourt play. He is a mark and a trojan for any team that fields him. Steph can play off the ball anyway its Simmons, he has no heart

I reallly did wish my boy Semi stayed back but I can understand the trade and I hope he gets some playing time with the Bucks.
As for the Nets, I am careful not to push that narrative that they need 3 healthy superstars to win the Eastern conference. Last season, they pushed the Bucks to a game 7 in the conference finals with only KD.
Infact, they were a long toe away from the finals. I believe a healthy Harden/KD can get them to the finals.. I mean, it doesn’t mean they will not miss Kyrie.. Maybe a Kyrie/ KD is stronger than a KD/ Harden combo but Harden is a much better and improved defender/rebounder than Kyrie.
I am one of Kyrie’s biggest fan on this thread and want to see him back on the court where he belongs but until that happens, the Nets can push this thing with a healthy KD/ Harden combo.

Well he's had his chances on good teams. That should be extra motivation. I'm quite intrigued by the Bucks additions. (Allen, Mamukeshvili, Ojeleye) young pesky 3 and D guys and then Divincenzo returning. Looks an awkward team on paper with no flash but they will give teams even more fits this year

Actually, this is what the owners of the NBA teams are doing! Since this situation started, have you heard of any real trade offers? I mean serious trade offers? None of the owners want a part of it and that is why he is still with the Sixers. They are pretty much calling his bluff at this point.

Its the height of selfishness after all that organization has done for him. Even more pitiful is that his agent cannot talk some sense into his head and make him realize he has zero leverage. And as overrated as I consider Ben I don't see why Philly shouldn't feel entitled to whatever compensation they deem fit even though I don't think he's worth it. This will definitely be talk of the next CBA. Selfish players and agents like Rich Paul who is enjoying LeNomad's umbrella for now
