I showed a whole series where MJ was Magic Johnson's primary defender. In Jordan's prime there was no series or season he was not primarily guarding the best perimeter offensive threat on the other team whether bigger or smaller. Isiah Thomas always talks shit about MJ but go and see how his numbers shrank Everytime he faced MJ and was mostly bailed by his teammates

Besides Anybody that knows anything about basketball knows that come playoff time scoring is the singular most difficult task. Anybody can spam rebounds and assists (which is dependent on the teammate scoring anyway) but going in a half court set and scoring bucket after bucket is the toughest thing to do so it's laughable that people downplay this.

We have a bevy of stars in the history of basketball past and present who averaged fewer points in the playoffs than the regular season even in their primes despite playing fewer games in the playoffs

They had only a Plan-A and a Plan-B, just 2plans to execute b4 the short clock ran out.

Whenever it failed on a first attempt to score, plan-B was almost all the time made for Jordan to score as next option.

Again another thing people failed to realize is aside the fact that most of this so-called triangle offense was MJ and inshallah this myth that Jordan couldn't pass was largely because unlike the PnR the triangle does not demand on one ball dominant player which is why assist numbers are usually spread around and you don't have one player having double digit assists while the teammates have little or nothing

Shaq was 11-13 and 16-22 in 2 of those 4 games. I can only point to Game 3 as a game Rodman had any real impact on Shaq

I sweardown, if they ever put up late nights for those matches or take their time to go watch those matches, they would have a clearer picture of what went Down.

For his size, height and position(guard), jordan is the most offensive threat the game ever had. Jordan changed the game. And he did it for his first 10years of being in the NBA for 10consecutive years.


The closest to him for those 10years in terms of Scoring prolifically were Ewing, David Robinson, Shaq, Kareem Abdul Jabber, Karl Malone and perhaps other bigs/forwards I can't remember right now.


Jordan came Into the league as a slender guard, not even physical or muscle-equipped and got to the hole better that all these guy for 10years.

all he had was a very good leap and skillset to dominate.


That alone is the most iconic shift I have seen in any sport.

Do not think it was just his leaps that took him to that level of scoring.

We have
1. Police that wear black on black and are not good for anything beyond husband and wife fight. They are so useless that they cannot controldog and goats, Area thugs regularly beat police up. these are the police you will call that robbers are in your house and they will tell you to bring car to drive them. We have
2. Soldiers whose training are for real war. They no dey hear word and are very brutal. They are not fit for society except full blown war and jungle

3 Mobile Police, they are like an hybrid of the 2. They are not as weak as normal police and not as fierce as soldiers. These were deployed to help in riots, communal clashes and later to keep law and order in the city because Police were totally inadequate.
We started having Operation Sweep, Rapid Response Squad and SARS which are feared by most and most people initially gave them credit for reducing crime. But as we know things get corrupted, these people became laws onto themselves and go overboard many times. You wont deny that even at this time, criminals cyber criminals, armed robbers still fear SARS more than anyone else

The question now is if we abolish SARS

1. what happens to the good work these SARS do? who will do it?

2. What happens to people you have trained to use guns and now without a means of livelihood. These will be the new vicious armed robbers

I think these pressure will make them know people are watching them closely and any misdeed will be treated as a criminal offence. any extra judicial killing will be treated and tried as a murder case

Well said. Wish Nigerian youths could protest against the deep issues affecting the country, such as corruption, extremely high cost of governance (salaries of Nigerian senators and reps especially), high level of unemployment, the same way we're addressing this SARS issue.

One problem at a time. This SARS is the most pressing and important one right now. Any country where youths are more scared of police than thieves is a failed one. SARS attack everyone both the employed, unemployed and underemployed. They attack males and females. Local and expats.

There is enough problems facing Nigerian youths already let's remove the SARS first and focus on subsequent ones. This is Protest SZN

As one who has experienced armed robbery at its peak in our estate b4 sars existf in river state,all the estate guards were killed including 3 mopol officers,my dad had to risk his life by asking us to jump over our own fence while one of the robbers was shooting into the air.It was terrible,not to say the least.On The other hand,i have been stopped by SARS officers thrice,their conduct was very unprofessional but they are way better than armedrobbers.Or is it when greenlanders and icelanders were busy counting scores in abuloma,trans-amadi,diobu and other areas in ph.When you couldn't walk safely on the streets of ph?.
Ending SARS would be giving men of the underworld free rein. Let's not forget that a significant percentage of sars were former "underworld men".At Least with sars,the "underworld is divided".

So now that people are more afraid of SARS than armed robbers what is now their use? When was the last time you heard SARS foiled any robbery attack. Where have you heard police checking people's phones and marching them to ATM points? Not even in war-torn Syria
