Of course, just 3 of them, Carlo, Bob Paisley and Zidane. But there are 17 that have won 2 CL titles, and I think it was only Fergie that won 2 in 29 years. Others did it in less than 29 years.

Absolutely ridiculous!
Thank you jare Mazaje.

26 years in an established club like United and only 2 CL titles and 4 Finals.

The main thing is how was Man Utd when Ferguson took over? In this so called present day, would a Manager be sacked if he doesn't win a league title with a Leicester or Everton in 7 years despite the fact that he won other titles within this period?
They had won FA Cups in the 4 years leading to Sir Alex hiring. They were arguably better than the Liverpool Klopp took over

My point though is it took him 7 years to win a league title and along the way United had struggles too. He could have easily lost his job but ownership persevered.

This idea that he could do and undo and rebuild on the fly was because he was given time and sat on a club with sufficient financial muscle.

Comparing his situation to that of Klopp for me was just absurd and hence my response

You are just yarning dust and preaching shalaye no one asked you for. The success Fergie brought made United one of the richest club in the world.

So you knew this and still kept saying rubbish that he won't have dealt with Pep as well. Alaye Jor Biko.
The question any reasonable person should be asking is how long it took for Ferguson to build this so-called success. He needed 7 years just to lift a league title. Odun meje gbako!!

While listing all of Fergie's achievements common sense would recognize the time he was allowed to build which is not being afforded to modern day managers.

So don't come here and chat rubbish like what Fergie did no other manager is capable of doing as if they enjoyed the stability Fergie enjoyed.

PS: We have no evidence he would have dealt with Pep btw. He's 0-2 against him

I don't know the sermon or narrative you are trying to preach. If Fergie was still here he would have definitely competed against pep and find a way to end his reign. He toppled Liverpool,Moved over Blackburn Moneybag, Dealt with Wenger possession based football and Mourinho defensive juggernauts. There is no obstacle Sir Alex didn't overcome. Forget all this shalaye you are preaching.
You're just yarnin Okoto kutukutu meow meow skrrrrrrrr skrr my gee.

Blackburn that were rich for 1 season before going bankrupt na him you dey call moneybags

Didn't he need a full 7 seasons before he was able to topple Liverpool?

United were the richest club in football and Fergie was established in England for a full decade before the likes of JM and Wenger came along.

No one is disputing Fergie's greatness overall but let's not get it twisted by saying nobody can be compared to him while losing all regards for context

Let us expose that your opebe disable league today. All your Yoruba Yoruba is nullified by the fact that half of that league if not more would be better doing other jobs like seamstress or hair stylist. Achievements there are suspect.
How many clubs there have won the champions league EVER let’s start there.
Then we can now go into how many have won it more than once.
What does this have to do with the argument sef? If you're even downplaying his achievements in the league what of in Europe?

There is nothing to expose. You're clutching straws at this point because Klopp was not a local champion. He beat a side that was good enough to get to the Champions League final to a league title.

All the Jamb question you're asking, I'm sure a quick visit to Google will resolve everything.

Klopp has left this supposedly weaker league and has come to the stronger league and is still competing. At home and in Europe so you no get argument

Christian Fuchs won league title? And that means what? Did he win it as an individual award or is he a club.

When Mkhitaryan your assist leader, team of the season member and kicker player of the season failed in 2 different clubs here. He had to offloaded to another lesser league of the quality of your Rubbishliga.

That yebariba league that English clubs were knacking apako just recently. If we take away Bayern that league is at the level of English championship.

In that last 20yrs how many German teams have won the Champions League? Compare that to English teams.

Rubbishliga is inferior to EPL. It has been proven time and time again. It is easy for a good team to lose players and still do well when you are competing with most of the other clubs playing jeun jeun level football.
It means he was good enough to start on a league winning team. A feat he never achieved in Germany

We saw Bernardo Silva and Ederson make PFA team of the season. This must mean Portuguese and French league is stronger than English league

Roque Santa Cruz came to England and was dragging for Golden Boot.

The so-called Yebariba league has two teams currently leading their CL group while EPL products can only boast of 1.

In the last 20 years? Did Football start 20 years ago?

Anyways in all of this you're still missing the crux of the matter. Klopp won two league titles with an underdog squad in Germany, got to a CL Final to show he is not a local champion.

Came to England won a CL, got to two other Finals and is presently competing with the most dominant domestic squad in league history, literally breaking club and EPL records just to compete with their dominant rival. If Fergie had to compete with a Pep and Man City his first 5-10 years in England they would have ran him out of town

This is not the Fergie era, this is an era where £50m can only get you Aaron Wan goddamn Bissaka. Put some Respek on Klopp's name Bros.

Using point tally is flawed. They were not competeting against each other. Even at that
In 2012-13 season we had 77 points in 30 games before getting complacent and that was with players like Cleverley, Welbeck, past it Rio, Vidic, Evra in the side. One thing you have got to realize is that when Jose came and took the Premier league by storm, Fergie waited patiently and developed a team that eventually upended them. There is nothing to suggest that Fergie wouldn't have been able to do the same now to take on Pep. There was never a challenge that he didn't rise to
This isn't the first time the scope of the premier league has changed. By the was his United team of 2007/2008 is the best in this premier league era.
It is not flawed. I am showing you the capability of Klopp and what he would have done in similar scenario.

Your 77 points out of 30 still shows that United dropped 13 points. Klopp and Liverpool dropped 11 points all season.

I am not sure you fully understand what this means. None of Fergie or Mourinho's title winning teams ever amassed such haul. Prime Beckham, Prime Scholes, Prime Rooney-Ronaldo-Tevez none of them got to 97 points.

Klopp is leading Liverpool to the longest unbeaten streak and Anfield and the longest winning streak in EPL history just to stay ahead of City. Fergie never faced such challenges

We have no evidence Fergie could have survived Pep. On both occasions they met it was a bloodbath with Fergie vibrating and showing dangerous health signs.

Klopp might never stay 26 years at United and possess Fergie's longevity but looking at the EPL and elite Europe there is enough to suggest Klopp's trajectory is definitely in the conversation

You don’t have to agree with it. Your agreement does nothing to affect the validity of such a list.

I really like Klopp but losing players in that your indomie league that underage players like Reiss Belson and Jadon Sancho were controlling like bosses isn’t anything new.

League that Claudio Pizarro and Kalou are icons.

League that Mkhitaryan was running like a Sinaloa cartel leader.

That one na league? Outside Bayern (and Dortmund on the odd occasion) is there any club in that league that doesn’t have permanent beriberi? Lol
Who died and made the list valid? Everyone has their criteria and metrics

Losing the likes of Lewandowski, Götze, Sahin, Kagawa would definitely affect a squad with limited resources. Klopp took Dortmund from European irrelevance to a CL Final.

Came to Liverpool a European turned them to a force in England and Europe

Just to show you that your argument is neither here nor there we can also identify Yakubu and Benjani Mwaruwari as icons of your league. Their conversion rate is within the same ball park.

We have lesser players than Mkhitaryan running EPL as we speak. Is it not the same league Christian Fuchs came to win league title

Klopp ko, Klump ni. So you are now comparing Klopp to Ferguson?
Klopp acquired higher than the highest points total than all of Fergie's title wins in one season. Let that sink in. Far fetched I know but if Fergie had to face any of last season's Liverpool, Man City 18/19 or 17/18 every year he would have 0 League titles

Secondly Ferguson is not surviving losing his best players every blessed season so the premise of Liverpool crashing and burning because of what happened with Dortmund is erroneous. No Klopp team sufficiently armed financially will fail to compete

Finally I was not posting a comparison just bringing some perspective

PS: I don't agree with any list that claims Fergie is the greatest manager

Chief i never argued that playing for the nigerian senior national team will benefit everyone. i only countered Raumdeuter's assertion that playing for nigeria has not boosted anybody's club career which is why i gave the examples of ekong and ebuehi.

even from the past players like finidi george and daniel amokachi have benefited. Finidi was playing in nigeria and active for the super eagles before ajax signed him. while for amokachi it was westerhof himself who arranged for the bull to be signed by club brugge.

Doesn't matter. Ronaldo is why the game enters penalty shootout in the first place. Ronaldo scored and his teammates let Chelsea equalize else they would have won in regulation time

Messi did not even put his team in that position

Lebron is nothing but a sellout and hypocritic social crusader. Suddenly he has realized that free speech is not actually free speech! that free speech has negative consequences. When you listen to him on his HBO series talk about the 1st amendment right and other social justice issues you would think he has the guts. This has everything to do with his $1 billion Nike endorsement deal and the fact that his movie "SpaceJ Jam 2" will actually premiere in China before the US. I would have had no problems if he was not such a talkative at home but this cat is the first to jump on any social justice issue. If you had nothing sensible to say especially over a very sensitive situation why not sidestep the question as Curry and Kerr did? But of course, he wants to always control the narrative.

If you are courageous enough to call a graduate of statistics from Northwestern with an MBA from a renowned institution like MIT "Uneducated" then it is fair to call Lebron an "Illiterate" and argue that his opinion about free speech stems from his illiteracy. We have to stop thinking we have to control the narrative of everything especially when they are occurring outside our country. China is not a developing country, it is a powerhouse and they have built their country from core values and principles that align with its culture and it has worked for them. This proves that we are not very versed in the life of other countries and always want to impose our own values on them even when it is not necessary.

Finally, this situation makes me question Adam Silver's leadership capabilities because he has not gotten a grip on this fiasco from day 1.
It's why I always laugh at the clowns that always brought up Jordan and complaining about his lack of social activism calling him a sellout and other idiotic arguments by Bronsexuals. Jordan never claimed to be an activist, even the charity he did he never broadcasted it for everyone to see.

However their faux activist is now nitpicking when and where not to fight for free speech and expression and I'm laughing watching Bronsexuals salaye their king's inconsistency and double standards.

Adam Silver is walking the same tightrope as LeNomad in the sense that he's created this air of a Left leaning cool guy commissioner but at the end of the day the bottom line is still revenue streams. He can't afford to completely pander to anti-China people

Good. But the players do and you're speaking purely from a biased place

Stop comparing football politics to bare incompetence from CAF. Completely unrelated to the matter at hand. In the hierarchy of football trophies AFCON no dey rank

What do you want NFF to do for him?? Play him ahead of players that make bench at their various clubs?? Won't we all be calling for the head of Rohr if he does so??
Yes. Let Nigeria help him get his club career back on track by giving him minutes, otherwise what is the special incentive of dumbing down to play for Nigeria

Now are you not still calling for Rohr's head?
Adiwana:
Talking as if Nigeria is the only country that dumps players.England won't even remember you can sing their national anthem if you are not performing. If those that perform at their clubs don't even play na you wey no dey play.Dele Alli has dipped in form, where is he today?? Wasn't he playing against Belgium about a year ago at Russia?? Iwobi one of the worst players of Epl that was brought in and removed in the same match this season, wasn't he the one playing rubbish against Brazil?? Who benched him?? You think if he was playing for England,Southgate will remember where he kept his number??lol
Good. Since you know Nigeria also dumps players when they underperform then it's better Abraham tries his luck with an established footballing power.

Form is the name of the game. So whether you play for Nigeria or England consistent mediocrity will get you benched. From what you are saying in a nutshell your whole advocacy for Abraham to have chosen Nigeria is that in the event of mediocre performances he would remain in the team, so then how does that help Nigeria win this AFCON you keep talking about

Besides how is Iwobi one of the worst players in the EPL? Who is performing in that entire Everton squad?
