AJ is the bigger draw definitely but just from the back and forth between them and his tone i suspect he would rather not fight Wilder.
Just my opinion though, i might be wrong.

I like Wilder but I don't know that any fighter worth their onions would be scared of him never mind a relatively more polished boxer like AJ. My main worry with AJ is how much hits can he take?

As disappointing as the past 2 seasons have been, you can't ignore the 3 Stanley cups in 9 seasons, conference finals and multiple playoff appearances this team made.
The blackhawks dominated the NHL and created a dynasty during the last 9 years. It was a very good run especially considering the NHL is not designed to tolerate dynasties like the NFL and NBA to some extent.
We still have vital pieces, we just have to draft better and start over again with the corner stones.

I honestly see a lengthy rebuild for you guys because you would most likely not get a top 3 franchise changer especially in recent kids like McDavid , Matthews , Laine. Your goalies are AHL grade plus your key players are declining sharply (Toews , Keith , Seabrook).and are 'untradeable'

Time will tell but I think it would take two seasons at the very least if not more for the Hawks to return to any type of playoff contention

Tuchel is the best young German coach out there and based on his work at Dortmund should be a no-brainer to get hired. Hummels would have to be professional and play his position. He is still an employee of the club and not the other way round

Melo sorely lacks that edge needed to push his team over the line. He's faced some really tough teams but a player of his talent should have more than a series win under his belt. In a team now where the scoring onus isn't on him as much he still isn't delivering in the clutch.
