Lol people said Warriors in 3 and I thought it was all fun and jokes but now we can see why. I've always felt it is more important to be able to shoot the 3-ball because it makes all other aspects of your offense simpler. That's the difference between Curry and Harden who relies on getting to the foul line and making mostly contested long 2's some nights he is great (Game 2) other nights he is the epitome of inefficiency How do you win when your best player is shooting 3/16? Just how easy Curry makes it look sometimes! He even out-hustled Dwight on rebounds twice |
Gonzalo Castro headed to Dortmund Paderborn, Freiburg relegated Hamburg going to the playoff raumdeuter:Oya shoki the shoki |
Quite the miscalculation by the Mercs. I don't think anyone in their right minds would suggest it was deliberate. They most likely thought the other guys would pit anyway and why risk it when you could pit and still come out ahead of the rest. Nice hold by Vettel for 2nd |
Nihilist:Thief! Ole! Carry am go! We go give you Mueller. Gerd Mueller or Mueller-Wohlfahrt |
Wow I almost feel sorry for the Rockets. They easily could have picked up both games in the Bay but Steph Curry is playing out of his mind rn even though James Harden was a beast in Gm 2 he ultimately got outfoxed by Steph when it mattered most Going to the East and at the risk of sounding like a Lebron hater that conference is just too WEAK. No Love no Kyrie yet they have beaten the supposed best team in their conference twice in their own building! No disrespect to the Cavs (contradiction I know) but they are not crossing 2nd round in the West |
Final game of the season Last week saw Bastian Fussballgott make his 500th appearance for Bayern Munich. Phenomenal when you look at his injury record for the past two seasons. I hope Kalle would not do something stewpid like not extend him of course provided he is willing to take a paycut of some sort raumdeuter:I'm not overly impressed. He's not the game-changer (apologies Adamu Muazu) that we need at Bayern and would probably cost more than he can deliver. He does have potential though his finishing is unbelievably poor and his football IQ is still growing I just wonder if he's reached his ceiling already (you know how these English players are) I'd take a chance on him if he would cost no more than £25-30m he would have resale value if it doesn't work out anyway |
wonlasewonimi:Abeggi! When your band of miscreants were on our thread chatting megedefegede did they remember we had won the Bundesliga |
Na wa ooh even the ones wey their team never win Champons League get opinion. American wonder |

Is it safe to say Doc Rivers is a tad overrated? Btw CP3 come to the Mavs homeboy and help Dirk win another ring before he retires. He sure as hell isn't winning it with this one-dimensional Clipper bunch. Guys like DeAndre are going to want a max contract and I don't know if the Clippers are going to bite that bullet. They are not a balanced team and paying him that much would be rather silly when they have other weaknesses |
This day 41 years ago the mighty Bayern Munich became Champions of Europe for the very first time We also won the UEFA Cup 22 years later

Roland17:Benching Harden was a no-brainer. He's shooting 35% for the series 21% from 3pt range. McHale had to try something, throw a Hail Mary. They were still down by 13 going into the 4th quarter so its not like you could tell a significant change was upon us Roland17:If the Clippers showed any remote interest in playing defence I'm 90% sure that game would have had a different outcome. How far did Harden get them when they were still down by over a dozen going into the 4th? Bringing in Harden when the charge was hot would have been naïve, this is basketball no coach would take out the hot hand (which at the time was Josh Smith being the primarily ball handler) Infact the question should be what took him so long to bench Harden. He also hurts them on D so what would have been the point? Roland17:Chris Paul had seven shots in the 4th quarter alone so clearly he didn't shirk his responsibility. Jamal has been shooting poorly all season long and like I told you before the Clippers are a very one-dimensional team. At a point one would expect a role player or bench guy to come on and make the difference which is usually the case in your home games. There was no such thing so when Chris and Blake struggled the entire team collapsed and nobody could step up and be the difference maker on either end of the floor |
birdman:The irony is the Clippers are an extremely one-dimensional team. Especially when their bench don't show up Loading on CP3 is an easy option to make as their swingmen (Redick, Barnes) are not facilitators and Griffin's legs are usually gone in the 4th. 40-15 run tells me one team just stopped executing on both ends of the floor. Some nights your shots don't fall but the onus is on you to keep the other team from scoring the Clippers failed spectacularly to do that I'd probably hand this series to the Rockets, momentum is critical at this point and the Rockets have all of it |
Roland17:No Chale that is not the point. He stumbled into that lineup! There was nothing deliberate about it. Its not like they shut down the Clippers offense and then magically started playing great offense on their own. I wouldn't even call it a gamble because there has to be some degree of deliberate to be labeled as that At that point there was no need to bring in Harden. To do what precisely? It would have been beyond dumb to do that. Harden is a big reason why they were in that hole to begin with and common sense dictates you don't take out the hot hand |
Roland17:I would give credit if it was a calculated move but it seemed more like a gamble and crap throw by McHale to me more than anything else. James Harden was even on the bench while most of the comeback was on. Smith is a meh defender and what I saw was Blake Griffin losing his legs and dishing yet another poor 4th quarter. Their offense did not execute and their defense couldn't stop a nosebleed. Rockets were 40-15 in the 4th. That is simply unacceptable at this level They were not desperate and didn't play hard enough to close out the series. No wonder they say the hardest game to win is the last one. |
The boys have gone on Vacay. Nothing to play for really! See you next season That phucking guy Bernat though! Why did Alaba get injured at this critical point. |
Roland17:The Clippers pissed that game and the entire series away. I don't think the Rockets won it as much as the Clippers lost it |
Wowzers! A chance to advance to your first conference finals at home and you drop 15pts in the 4th? Unbelievable! Also why is Blake always so poor in the 4th? Son needs to pace himself |
Dellavedova sonning D.Rose this is painful to watch. Lool Lebron shooting 7/22 in a Cavs blowout. These Bulls are beyond pathetic. Thibodeau too for leaving Gasol on the bench so long |
Lol at the Bulls. In an elimination game at home you drop 13 points in a quarter? Lol down by 20 with less than 10 mins to go Why is Thibodeau not playing Gasol? Anyway this might be the last game he coaches them anyway. Lebron hasn't even needed to be exceptional the Bulls have made life so easy with their offensive ineptitude. The Clippers were never going to beat the Rockets in 5. So long as they handle business tonight they will be good. They have a great chance to close it out on their floor |
Unnecessarily gamble by the Scuderia. Just cover Hamilton you were never going to catch Rosberg but could easily hold of Hamilton. Silly risk |
hensben:When we say the average Chelsea fan is ignorant by nature you guys begin to take it personal. Someone opens his mouth to call Pogba and Goetze overrated and instead of you to call the novice to order you are chatting megedefegede. If Pogba and Goetze are overrated then Hazard is the most overrated player in all of football Clearly you are ignorant of Pogba's contribution to Juve and Goetze while he was at Dortmund (provided the most assists and helped them to a UCL Final) and for Germany (winning the World Cup) else I see no reason why you would use Iniesta and Pepe Reina as an example. I'm not suprised since your knowledge of the game is restricted to Up Chelsea and Up Hazard What is Hazard's consistency? A player with 5 goals in 3 seasons of European football? Abeg go and sleep! You even have the nerve to use Cristiano Ronaldo as an example to defend your overrated Hazard who has never achieved anything outside the Premiership. Obere4u:Lol what has been Vermaelen's contribution? Now compare that to Pogba and Goetze What has Hazard achieved outside the Premiership? What is his record in International comps? Failure! You guys should argue with intelligence sometimes nau |
bigkesh:We know dancing shoki is your type. So keep dancing shoki when football afficionados are discussing the game |
bigkesh:If this is what it takes to be overrated. Winning World Cups and getting to Champions League Final at 22 I would rather be overrated then being a local champion like Hazard
|
JigsawKillah:The core of Mou's league winning team didn't belong to him. The rest is country grammar! I brought that up because of your argument about Ancelotti and Pellegrini. You can't downgrade their achievement and elevate Mou's JigsawKillah:"Just a striker under Messi" A striker that finished with 36 goals is just a striker under Messi? Eto'o - 36 Messi -38 Is that the striker you are dismissing with the wave of a hand? Forget Ibra he.achieved nothing with Inter and achieved nothing after he left. De Lima is beyond Ibra's level not even close JigsawKillah:B.S! Pep has the C.V to compare with Mou neither Allegri or Enrique have the resume to compare |

Looool the beauty of punditry. Even halfwits like Dixon who didn't achieve nada as a player can give his opinion on World and UCL Champions |
JigsawKillah:That's not the point! The koko here is that the core of the squad that won the league were actually Ranieri's players. Whether they actually won the league is irrelevant! Any coach worth a damn would have won the league with that team. They were good enough to get to a Champions League semi-final even before Mourinho's arrival Pained? Nucca are you crazy? Mou sold Ibra but got Eto'o that's hardly a downgrade. Remind me the last time Ibra even got to a CL semi-final Remind me how many Champions League's Allegri and Enrique have combined again? Pep might not have lived up to my expectations but I'd definitely take him over Moaninghoe every single day of the week |
The Pelicans have fired Monty Williams. Dumb dumb decision but it should be expected from any organization that calls itself the Pelicans Its actually better to take 10 open 3's than 20 contested long range 2's that's what a lot of people don't realize |

.
. i think both of you are partly right. yes, mchale did stumble into that 4th quarter lineup. but the decision to load up on CP3 on the pick and roll was coaching genius. apparently once you confuse CP3, the rest of the team become jump shooters. No creators or slashers, not even Griffin
