Losing Kroos killed Bayern. They should have released Schweinsteiger and paid Kroos what he wanted. Now they have neither.
Kroos was there when we lost 5-0 to Madrid I doubt he would have made a difference

Close but no cigar in the end.

Leaked some really cheap goals and its a shame this highline is making Boateng and Benatia look really bad. It was too easy almost like Suarez and Neymar were making alley-oops out there. Pep needs to get a defensive coordinator or something! We are winning nothing with these maddening highlines

Lewandowski was uber-wasteful today as well.

Mueller, Schweinsteiger and Thiago were the stand up guys for me today.

We have some spending to do this summer. Bayern uber alles

Pellegrini won with Mancini's team. Ancelloti did with Mou's team, what are you telling me? Name the players who played pivotal roles in Pellegrini's and Carlo's triumphs that weren't pivotal in the title winning squads in the said coaches predecessors.

if what Mou did in Spain isnt legendary, then tell me what is legendary. Pep never did garner 100 league points. that record has only been matched, not surpassed. if that isn't legendary, bros, tell me what is.

you haven't seen pressure. Ribery and Robben only meant Enrique will have problems organizing his back lines. I trust Robben, he'll throwaway 90% of his chances. But then, Boatank's burial takes place 19hours later.
Whaaaaat?

Ok going by your argument that means Mourinho also won the league with Ranieri's players. Guys like Joe Cole, Terry, Makelele etc did you know Ranieri was the one that actually signed Petr Cech, I heard Robben was also a Ranieri buy

At Inter he also won the treble with Mancini's players.or whoever his predecessor was. Zanetti, Julio Cesar, Cambiasso, Walter Samuel, Maicon, Chivu etc

At Madrid he won the league with Pellegrini and Schuster's players. Marcelo, Ramos, Pepe, Ronaldo, Benzema, Di Maria etc

What is garnering 100pts compared to winning a league for 3 seasons in a row? He spent 3 years in Madrid and only 1 League title and CDR to show for it. That is serious failure. Ninja had to turn to LL Cool J singing about how much he needed love

If your Moaninghoe is so great why isn't he featuring today or tomorrow?

this same moaninghoe usurped the rule of Barca with Madrid and Manyoo and Arsenal with Chelsea, then again Man City with Chelsea.

your Guardiola, only goes for clubs who've won their league at least twice in the last three

tell me who's better

how are the demands of Bayern way higher than Chelsea's? do you think Abramovich bought the club just to watch it go trophyless? is this hate or jealousy?
He usurped it after how many tries again? He spent three years in Spain and won the title once, Copa del Rey once with a mega-squad. That must be some 'usurping'

Usurped with Chelsea haha how hard can that possibly be with the hundreds of millions of pounds RA pumped at the time and is still pumping

Pellegrini and Ancelotti won your league at their first try don't act like Moaninghoe discovered fire

A team missing Robben, Ribery, Alaba and Javi Martinez is still expected to beat Barcelona that is Pressure! Not Moaninghoe who can finish trophyless and still be worshipped

Pep has said he would be here next year.

Either way stranger things have happened in football. 3 goals is certainly doable and like Mueller said if you believe the tie is over then do us a favor and sit on the bench
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 11:59pm On May 11, 2015
If Rondo wasn't such a beesh the Mavs woulda beat these Rockets easy. They are soft! If they didn't hack DeAndre 1,976,522 times they would have lost by 50 points yesterday

Lol at the Cavs coach who didn't even know he was out of timeouts. Gasol was injured so I guess things have evened out but with Kyrie also struggling the Bulls should be handling business. You don't want a potential Game 7 vs the Cavs in Cleveland

John Wall still hurt but the Wiz still rolling. Sessions standing in pretty well the Hawks have been unconvincing

The Warriors having plenty trouble with the size of Z-Bo and Gasol and Tony Allen's defence. Not getting those awoof offensive rebounds like before. Steph needs to show why he is MVP ohh and Klay Thompson too he's been awfully quiet

This is a club of legends and World Champions not a small cottage club like Chelsea. Of course Guardiola has had some disappointing spells but it comes with the territory and the fact that the demands at Bayern are waaay higher
At least he didn't finish trophyless like Moaninghoe did for two years in a row both at Madrid and Chelsea

Austin Rivers has made his dad really proud.

James Harden with no free throws to pad his points isn't so effective

And that Derrick Rose shot. Jeeez!

Lebron taking too many shots and missing them. Kyrie is also non effectual they have zero hope of beating the Bulls if they keep playing this way

Eruditor:
Juup went 1 full season and didn't win a spoon. The Bayern board decided to book Pep down against the following season. Juup was a caretaker manager that overperformed. Perhaps, if the board knew he'd win the treble, they won't have signed Pep.
Let's look at the squad Juup had at his disposal and compare to Guardiola's. Our only depth was Mueller and Olic. Even at that he could easily have finished with a double or treble. There is no such thing as long term at Bayern, coaches live and die by results, Juup Heynckes is 69 and was 66 going on 67 while at Bayern, retirement was heavy on his mind so our front office opted to be pro-active. Anyone would have done that in our shoes

Juup is not an African politician. He was bound to go at some point

Eruditor:
But how good is this Bayern side? Would they have won the UCL back to back? If not then cut Pep some slack.
Good enough to produce the best team at the last World Cup. We saw the same Robben that looked so toothless against Ramos and Alonso get destroyed less than 2 months later. We saw Mueller destroy Pepe in similar fashion. No one asked him for a back to back win but struggling with Arsenal, nearly losing to Man U and handing us our heaviest defeat and first loss to Madrid in Munich was not what we bargained for

Eruditor:
I don't know where you watched that Match, but on DSTV the commentary from Sky sports said after losing 1-0 away at Madrid, his players called him aside and told him he should not worry about the second leg since they knew the way to beat Madrid themselves. He took the ginger from his players and let them play their own way and they were 3-0 down before the 2nd half. I don't know how true the story is, but I am cocksure I heard the commentator say this story.
When your players start dictating terms to you then that means something is wrong somewhere. Not that I buy this argument as I doubt the players playing such suicidal highline is something they would have done on their own volition

Eruditor:
Sometimes you could have a perfect tactic and it just takes one player to destroy it. It could be your player or the oppositions. In Bayern's case, it was Messi.

Ask Wenger about Messi (6-3 and 4-3 of 2010 and 2011). Ask Mou of Messi in 2011. Both managers felt they had Barca cornered till La Puga atomica upturned that feeling.

Now Pep is poised to die by the legs of the monster he created.
Messi has been shut down numerous times before by Germany and this Bayern side. Maybe the law of averages dictated that Messi had a breakout game but if we look at it more analytically the question you should be asking is how do you in 90 mins of football fail to produce a single shot on target? Is it Messi that stops us from consistently creating chances in this game

Even if he is clueless about how to shutdown Messi is he also clueless about how we can get goals of our own?

Guardiola no try for that match ka ma kuro ka ma jale. Any tactics that failed to produce a single shot on target is obviously the wrong one.

In a game where you are lacking width you left Lahm to rot in the central midfield where Schweinsteiger, Alonso and Thiago were already occupying.

Bernat the worst player on the pitch you left him to play all 90 minutes

The few corners we got you left to a player who has shown times without number he is no good from corner kicks. Our setpiece drills were also laughable and in a game where your best players are missing you just have to be a bit more efficient against a Barca side that are vulnerable in the air

Barca scores you took out Mueller of all people. He had every right to be mad

The list is lengthy. The man no try

Disclaimer: This is not an endorsement of Moaninghoe. If he was so great he wouldn't be out in the 2nd round. Just highlighting Pep's flaws

Bros cool down, just like in 2013, the 7Up was against a barca team in decline which is same situation with your team now. I tell you, A. Robben, D. Alaba and F. Ribery couldn't have prevented barca winning tonight; the scoreline may only be decent. Face it, your team peaked in 2013 and has been on decline since. You may be masters of the league, given the inferior oppositions but where other top teams in Europe stand, you're not in the top two.

Pep is the best in the world! Give him some credit; most coaches would not thrive as much when in his position. Eg Moanrhino...
Were we also in decline last year? Guardiola's rubbish tactics failed us like it did vs Madrid last year. I'm not here to give excuses! We didn't lose because certain players were absent. The precise reason we hired Guardiola was to forestall this decline but he has worsened the situation. This is still the bedrock of the team that went on to conquer the world!

Destroying and pissing on the solid work Juup Heynckes left behind. Everyday I wake up and apologize to that man

Pep is definitely not the best coach in the world. He may be the best in your history but not in the world. He has not won that award since 2011 and yet again we have seen why

Abeggi! Boateng is why we also lost 5-0 last year right? When would you apportion some blame to Guardiola for how badly he has weakened this team?

Playing everyone out of position and ruining a Well-oiled machine

For real though. Did not think it would end up this bad. It's not everyday attack sometimes defend too. It's a two legged affair not a one off game. With a bit more caution , that game would have ended in a stalemate
We actually defended well initially but in a game like this against such an opponent. We also have to take advantage going forward. Why play two inept players at fullback and play the world's best right back in midfield

Just tactically naïve

Heynckes's Bayern never lost this way when they met Barca or Madrid, infact the opposite was the case.Bayern should get rid of the fraud called Guardiola. The coach is supposed to motivate his team when things doesn't go as planned.I remember the 2012 semi-final 2nd leg where Madrid took a 2-0 lead in the early stages of the game.I expected Madrid to add more goals, but was surprised the way Bayern pressured Madrid and it eventually paid off.I bet if it was Guardiola Madrid would have added a couple of goals.A Guardiola coached team starts losing it when things don't go as planned.
We need to apologize to that man. He might not be the most flamboyant and his 1st season he made some errors however he corrected them quickly.

That first goal was the issue today

Neymar just dived, all our players were protesting and Neuer stupidly, threw the ball to start play when everyone was out of position

Bernat lost the ball and the rest is history

Neuer and Bernat caused the first goal after that it was a meltdown

No excuses, The better team won.

Next season
Guardiola IMO threw that game. We focused so much on containing Barca we forgot to create anything offensively. In a game where we needed to be direct as possible we were dancing shoki and galalalala in the box

Thiago was busy doing rubbish flicks and tricks instead of being a bit more direct.

We went a goal down and heads just dropped. That is not a mark of a well coached team!

With everyone fit I doubt we would have played better. Same thing happened last season.

Bernat should not start for Bayern again. He is not Bayern level
