chic2pimp: What a load of rubbish u just typed there.
Speaking strictly as a defensive full back ,Alaba would never in this lifetime or the next match Cole.

Alaba ko Idowu ni
Alaba is only 21 and we are already including him in the conversation of the best fullbacks in Europe that should tell you something

El Guapo: [color=#0066ff]Ko easy with this ya exaggeration.

Inasmuch as i'd take Alaba ahead of Cole now, it doesnt still deny the fact that Cole has been the more defensively disciplined ninja - which is the primary requirement of a good defender.

Going Gung-ho and providing ur gaffer with plethoria of options is just a bonus for the team, at the end of the day, u'd have to account for ya defensive records.

Alaba has squared up against a big threat once and came out smoking - against Ronaldo last three seasons. You'd certainly lose count of ninjas Cole made look ordinary - Messi is one, Robben is another.

Shey no be thisame Alaba Oga Schurrle wan kee for UEFA Super Cup ni? cheesy

I also remember a Cristiano Ronaldo who was still a teenie bopper r@ping and violating Ashley Cole

logica: Next time, that f00l will use his head and put his frustration on hold. Yes, Neymar's reaction was exaggerated but it was justified. Or did you want him to confront the guy and throw a punch at him? How do you want him to respond in a game you are not allowed to retaliate?
When Bale or Ronaldo goes to ground at the slightest contact and wins a penalty you guys should not sha complain
.
I'm quite sure if the contact merited a red card Neymar would not need such a terrible acting job to sell it

Johnpaul88: Ogbeni, your frustration should go to the stupid Brown who decided to kick out to a player who he's already fouled and who 's lying on the ground, in such a tight match.
Violent action with or without intent to harm, is a serious offence in football. It was easy for the ref to reach a decision to send him away. Neymar's reaction whatsoever is immaterial. The ref saw enough and he was very close to the scene.
It's only haters like you who sees differently because perhaps you excepted Celtic to get another undeserved victory after parking all the trains & trucks & buses in Glasgow, in front of their goal post. It's a pity their captain did them in this time.

If you compare this to the embaressement Muniz Fernandes did to Spanish football in the name of refereeing, then i don't know what else to say to you.
A con job is a con job! Should Madrid benefit from a dubious ref's decision and you go to their thread to complain I would remind you off Tuesday
With the way you guys go on one would think decisions don't go Barca's way frequently as well

Me a hater? Please stop flattering yourself

Who says Manshitty cannot disgrace you at ur useless arena? Or you are really this demented in reasoning?
You need Prozac! Disgrace us when we would have probably topped the group by that match? Why didn't they beat us in their building with first place in the group potentially at stake

Bayern's Dante has made more forward passes (370) than any player in Europe's top 5 leagues this season. He has form for that sort of pass. Squawka

Noteworthy tho

Arjen Robben becomes the first Bayern player in UCL history to score in five successive matches

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Offical Bayern Munich Fan Thread: 6x Champions Of Europe by A40(m):
I was confident of a win but what I didn't expect was such utter annihilation. This is certainly our best match so far this season

Kroos and Schweini didn't do too well in the first half for me and I still think Schweini is not a 100%

Lahm was superb! Yaya Toure and Fernandinho shyte bricks bigger than Lahm yet he more than held his own there

Rafinha actually suprised me the most I thought he would be killed tonight but held his own against Nasri and even provided a nice sideways lob pass to Ribery for the first goal

Robben also didn't start well but as the game went on he did take over! That 3rd goal was super!

Muller did very well! Not completely faultless with his touch and ball control but was at his opportunistic best Mandzukic had better sit up cos more stinkers like Saturday and he would lose his spot to Muller Time

Ribery = Beastmode! Marshawn Lynch should drop that name Ribery is the real Beastmode grin

Dante smh! I blame him fully for Boateng's sending off! He needs to chop that Afro off its phucking with his concentration. He gets a pass for that quarterback pass to Muller

Boateng was solid unfortunate to get sent off but had to take one for the team no thanks to Dante's brainfart

We are all but assured of topping the group now with back to back games against Plzen

StarBoard: People are talking as if they do not know what Shinji Kagawa can do.
There is a reason that Borussia Dortmund won two Bundesliga titles in a row; unfortunately, they feel Shinji Kagawa didn't have anything to do with it.
There is a reason he was the Bundesliga's best player for two seasons in a row, yet he is not good enough to start in the hole for Manchester United.
Rooney's so-called multi-faceted approach is actually a jack-of-all-trade and a master of none.
To God I wish he was sold in the summer.
Ahem small correction there. Kagawa was never best player in the BuLi not officially at least though he did make the All-star team once

To be fair tho Kagawa has been treated more like a spare tyre than a star signing

Scoring goals maybe but in other aspects of midfield play I don't necessarily agree

honeric01: Whats the meaning of this na? even a blind man saw what he did. though there was no major contact with his back, but he surely kicked his hand and the intent was seen by the ref because he was visibly there.
You can't deny that Neymar embellished that foul abeg! Later now una go go Madrid thread dey cry wolf when dubious decisions go their way.
Fact is Neymar blatantly exaggerated contact and conned the ref!

debosky: I'm not talking about yesterday's game alone - Ramires' contributions to that midfield cannot currently be replaced by anyone else in that squad.
Ramires has probably had only two good games all season, Swindon and Steaua Bucharest. Hardly jizz-worthy opponents if you ask me

Sometimes you just have to love Ramires, sometimes you just hate him. Dude is guaranteed a permanent shirt in JMs team. Na number 12 go suffer am.

Nice win but its quite disappointing to be anxious about qualifying from this group in the first place especially with a manager like JM in charge.
Hehe even Mou isn't interested in Europa judging by his comments

Ramires has his strengths no doubt but we also have to look at the quality of opposition here! Ramires needs to work on his all-round technique to function in midfield

debosky: I told Ibime this months ago and he was arguing with me. What elders can see lying down, phat men cannot see even if they are standing on top of The Shard. cool
This is Steaua Bucharesti we are talking about here let's not get ahead of ourselves

El Guapo: [color=#0066ff]A home win over Schalke and Steaua, then a point in Germany looks more realistic.

I dont see us losing in Switzerland though, it all seem fine.

Well here is the problem if Basel do win both games and you don't win both matches against Schalke you would most definitely have to win at Switzerland

jackbauerspower: Yet our Management went shopping for Will.I.An and Schurlle - In Positions that did not need Filling

When AVB started to dismantle the old guard, People were complaining and the Man got the Sack.

Yet in 2013, 35 year old Lampard, 32 Year Old Terry has been offered a New deal, and 32 year old Cole has no viable understudy.

We even went as far as recruiting 32 year old Eto and 30 year old Perma-crock Essien to join the West London Retirement Home.

No youth coming through the ranks, and all promising talent dismissed as 'raw' and shipped elsewhere.

I guess Roman prefers to hold conversations with Mature Minds cheesy
An ode to the Chelsea pensioner era where the likes of Weah,Gullit,Vialli,Desailly etc came to SB to retire granted its not as bad this time but I feel Roman needs to just let this team rebuild with long-term dominance in view which he has done by buying the right players but not giving them time to develop. Chelsea have won every major title there is bar World Club Cup and European Super Cup in the RA era he should give these ninjas time to bloom especially the ones in attack/attacking midfield

Lool the Willian signing was highly unnecessary ninjas like De Bruyne would wish they could go back to Germany now

Hehehehe some people can't handle the truth

FBS: Most will say Lukaku should have stayed. Well maybee but personally I'm happy he is out there doing his thing. Many forget that the mental strength required to play for Chelsea aint the same as playing for Everton.
What is the point of getting Lukaku when y'all are not willing to give him even a third of the chances Fernandud is getting!

Based on last season Lukaku should be the undisputed starter at striker position for Chelsea

How many Youth players has Mourinho promoted into first team since 2004 when he stepped into Chelsea plus all the clubs he went to
Which woulda been understandable if he was still an up and coming ninja but this is Mourinho we are talking about here! He has won it all at club level and you would assume at this stage of his career he would actually try to evolve and tweak things a bit

I have a feeling that Supercup pk miss played a role in Lukaku getting loaned out if I'm correct then it was clearly knee-jerk

This is what happens when you don't give young players a chance to flourish and make mistakes I mean if there is any position you can get away with it its at the Striking position, Lukaku,Sturridge on 3 and 5 goals respectively in the league and the old guard of Torres and Eto'o cannot hit water even if they were thrown off a boat

elampiro: Manchester United boss David Moyes says his team do not have sufficient class to win the Champions League this season. Moyes is concerned that his squad may lack the quality to challenge for Europe's top club prize.

"To win the Champions League, you need five or six world-class players, Look at Bayern Munich, they have it. Look at Barcelona, who had it in the past and Real Madrid, who have maybe got it now.

"That's the level you have to be at to win it. We've not got that yet but what we have got is experience." (Source: Skysports)
