debosky: Which is what he is paid to do - are we supposed to be surprised a £100k a week player is scoring important goals? undecided

What Santi has done in his first EPL season is exceptional - beyond what Walcott has done in a league/team he's played in since 2006. That is not to denigrate Walcott's achievement in any sense, but to place it in proper perspective.
No one is comparing Walcott to Santi! That is not my argument! Santi is the most decent player yall have signed for a while now. All I'm saying is you can't wish away Theo's 21 goals in total 10 assists in the league alone
Even the much hyped Cazorla went through his drought

Cazorla - 16 goals and 13 assists

Walcott - 21 goals and 14 assists (30 starts)

Walcott has been your most productive player this season and its not even close! But bias would not allow sensitive niggas like 4llerbuntu to be objective
Let's be honest, Walcott was playing so well then cos they was ongoing contract talks. Since the deed was signed, he's been average but Santi 'Santa Claus' Carzola has almost always delivered the gifts. Santa Claus for president abeg
Forget that ongoing contract talk thing! Players tend to lose form from time to time even the Cazorla you are shouting about didn't do anything for 3 weeks plus prior to last night! I know cos I had him on my FPL team so make I hear word

4llerbuntu: their is none so blind as he that refuses to see
Not surprising that this seems to be a Bundesliga malaise
See this mutula! Where was Cazorla when Walcott was the difference maker in back to back games and even got to go ahead goal for yall (At least Debosky cannot talk about cherry on the cake goals anymore) How is the Walcott watch going? Ode!

JeSoul: Bingo! exactly! I don't understand why he is "day-to-day". Get on the floor or simply say you're out for the season, not the cat and mouse game he's been playing. The thing tire me.
Let's see if he would try and come back in Game 5 when all is truly lost! I think deep down he doesn't believe he can beat this Heat team. Its just awful to watch with their offensive arsenal consisting mainly of Nate Robinson and Carlos Boozer they shot at 26% looool
Going forward this behavior just might affect his game and how he is perceived by his teammates

JeSoul: grin grin lol@ vast repertoire lol. Hilerious vids. Lebron will look back one day and wonder why he was embarrasing himself so much. I think it greatly diminishes from his legacy. True legends like Kobe, MJ cannot be caught dead looking for cheap bailouts- they go out and will their team to win, not looking for help from the Refs.
Its crazy really! He is supposed to be a beast that doesn't need any help! Why would a beast resort to that kind of theatrics? He was flopping on bigger guys, smaller guys it was truly irritating to watch my dear

@Roland
Calm down bro! The Knicks aint out yet and even if they do get knocked out! They beat up on your Celts which I rightly predicted and you got wrong as usual grin grin

birdman: Uncle ke? lmao. Here is why all the talk of flop, fairness, etc is not bugging me:

The league is a business. The reason you dont have any compromising videos of Jordan is because it does not help the NBA's cause. Just like every star player's career has been whitewashed, so will Lebron's. And there will be endless "moving" documentaries on NBA TV making you think he, Kobe, etc are the best things since sliced bread. If you think Lebron's was bad, you shoulda seen Jordan. You couldnt even touch him. Or check out the Kobe's second, third championship runs. Who cares about that 10 years later? Few people even remember.
Chai this guy no get sense at all! The initial argument was did any member of the Heat flopped? After seeing a freightliner of proof this poof has resorted to calling Kobe and Jordan!
Can you at least admit you are wrong and stop trying so hard to look ignorant huh
This coon does not even know refs where not as whistle happy in the MJ era like they are now! You could hand-check then! Bang in the low post! Charges where earned not like now where ninjas would flop all over the place

birdman: The sooner you realize this, the earlier you save your energy - find a team you like and just enjoy the game. If there is one thing I like in Lebron over Kobe, its that he has figured the game out. Not the game itself, but the fact that this is fundamentally a business. He may be chasing rings, but he understands this is a business first, sport second. I hope he becomes as rich as Magic by the time he is done.
Lmao! You think Kobe is broke?

birdman: Meanwhile A-40, keep wasting your time ragging on millionaires.
Hahahaha see this dangbana so after providing your dumbass with proof that your boy's a flopper this is the best you can come up with? What an eediot! I'm sure he shares his millions with you

nateevs: Ramires has not been featuring for Brazil consistently in a long time now. If I am right, it's been about a year he's been in and out. He works hard but very loose in possession. Brazilians don't really like that.
Ramires really needs to work on his technique and first touch! When he's bad he is really baaad and you are right Brazilians don't really like that! I'm sure they don't even rate him in those parts

Poor OKC they never stood a chance without Westbrook
Where is birdman let him come here and tell us Lebron doesn't flop! If Lebron was in a streetfight would he have gone to ground that easily? With that being said Nazr was silly to do that! He just made the refs job easier
birdman: See how ridiculous you are getting bros. You are now at the point where you are demanding that Lebron must not fall down when pushed unawares by a 6'10 center. And yet you are supporting the dirtiest team in the league, the bulls. I can see you are getting desperate
Shey this one can read sha?? I'm not a Bulls fan by the way but when someone comes out to say Lebron doesn't flop you just have to laugh at the credibility of such person

joeydozzy: I swear that team got heart
I never noticed them during the regular season
with the injury, curry still came all out. That's determination
I mean just look at the Curry example! He refused to even look at the medical team or Mark Jackson when he turned his ankle in game 3! Kobe played till he could literally not walk

JeSoul: Me I am in that school of thought oh! Sorry, the guy is a superstar franchise player. He gets paid an insane amount of money to NOT be a human like the rest of us so you cannot subject him to you or my standard. I'm with Forry...there are other lesser athletes coming back from ACL surgeries every day, his continuing to warm the bench because of "lack of muscle memory" is just embarrasing.
The most infuriating part if you are a fan is seeing this nigga practice before the game and then not play! He was cleared to play 2 months ago! 2 months! If he had any self-respect he would either suit-up or rule himself out for the season so he would be remembered as a quitter

As for Lebron he's not just the Most Valuable Player but the Most Valuable Flopper as well I mean this ninja has moves for days! Check the videos I posted earlier 'floppin on a smaller dude' 'fakin an eye injury' 'flagrant flop' this isn't Ginobili that has just one style of flopping! Lebron has a vast repertoire which is a disgrace for a nigga his size

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by A40(m): 8:28pm On May 13, 2013
nateevs: My list does not explain every intention I have. I could be writing a book on this if I could. I try to summarize my points as best as I can. Sometimes I may not get the important points across, it doesn't mean I intend to obfuscate any point. I don't mind being wrong.
Which means your list is neither here nor there which was my original complaint! The rest na just grammar

nateevs: My initial intention of adding Carlotn Cole and DiSanto on that list was to explain that the system created by JM did not allow for young strikers to get a chance. This is something I intended to deal with in my first response to Guapo. I went back and found that I omitted it.
But Carlton Cole and Di Santo have gone on to flop in every system they found themselves which means the system is not to blame in this case

nateevs: With regards to past "sell-by date", it must interest you to know that Shevchenko scored 28 goals in the season before he joined. You cannot tell me he went from scoring 28 goals to total oblivion.
One good season does not mean he was not past his sell-by date! Lampard is the highest goalscorer at Chelsea in the league this season is he past his sell date?

nateevs: On Crespo not being a flop, I did not say he was. I said strikers failed to hit their mark. No Chelsea striker in that time established themselves as a renowned striker. They scored far few goals for supposed strikers at big clubs.
It's fast becoming a trend that most of these strikers scored pretty well until they joined us.
But none of these strikers went on to produce for the other clubs they ended up with aside from Sturridge who actually did perform when he was given the chance

nateevs: This is what happens when you join the debate in the middle and you deliberately ignore past posts so as not to understand my views. I need you to look at my earlier posts and confirm that I touched this issue. Then I went on to explain why it happened. No, I did not omit it as including it and talking about it backs up my point.
You guys chat too much grammar! How has Chelsea been able to produce 3 top scorers in 8 seasons if the system was so bad

nateevs: I never called Sturridge a failure at Chelsea. Torres did not stunt Lukaku's growth at Chelsea. If Torres was scoring goals, you won't say the same. A decision was made for Lukaku to lose weight and go on loan. Lukaku would not have had the number of games required to do that. Nobody, not even Steve Clarke knew Lukaku would turn out to be a success. Not even I who has been following the kid since Chelsea first took interest in him at 15.
So what is he doing on your list? Well since Torres wasn't scoring why didn't he make way for other people abi how else do you stunt someone's growth
You can't list guys like Lukaku and Sturridge as evidence of a failed system when they had no shot to prove themselves

nateevs: Torres did not kill Sturridge's growth at Chelsea. I will not accept the fact that Managers knew that Sturridge will bail them out, yet they stuck with Torres. Never.
Nonsense! Is it not to accommodate wastemen like Torres that ninjas like Sturridge had to play on the flanks or not play at all.

nateevs: And why did we employ Benitez, because he was the only top manager one willing to take on a six month contract while Chelsea sorted out Pep. Every other reason is fabricated to suit a purpose.
Yes you can tell yourself that if it helps you sleep at night. Like there was any sort of agreement with Pep

ddippset: . but there are some bayern munich fans here who get paranoid when you talk about it, getting a feeling that their 7-0 demolition of barca is being tainted such that even at gun point, would never agree that messi has been suffering for the past 1 month.
Ohh enuff already! You no dey tire? Even people wey lose don forget their loss while you dey here dey lament. Had you won the tie it woulda been 'we won inspite of Messi's injury' after this season una go learn the importance of resting players more often and even Messi go cool down small

nateevs: 11 strikers all have a reason. Even if 3 other strikers fail to perform, we will continue to find a reason why they all didn't perform. So it's not the playing system, it's the system of recruitment right?
Your list is dubious! You listed outright duds and crackheads that would fail in any system just to make an argument!
Some where past their sell dates (Shevchenko) some where not flops in the real sense of the word (Crespo)
Some where simply not given the time to show their potential (Sturridge,Pizarro)

How many games did Di Santo start at Chelsea?

nateevs: Why did Anelka score only 1 league goal for half a season playing in the system coming off the back of scoring 12 for a smaller team?
Why has Ba scored only 2 goals in 13 apps coming off the back of scoring 12 for a smaller team?
But of course you would omit the fact that he went on to become the top scorer the next season outscoring the best player on the planet at the time

nateevs: And please stop saying this.

Until you can prove to me where any manager had a gun to their head to pick players, I am going to take this as a fabricated story aimed at distorting the course of the debate. I am not buying this.
Sturridge was not a failure at Chelsea! In the only half season he was given an opportunity to play he scored in double digits in the league!
You need me to proof that ninjas like Torres stunted Lukaku and Sturridge's growth at Chelsea? Lmao why was Benitez hired?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by A40(m): 3:24pm On May 12, 2013
nateevs: Kezman
Mutu
Crespo
Carlton Cole
Shevchenko
Pizarro
**Anelka
Di Santo
Torres
Sturridge
Ba

All were hypes abi. This is the long list of strikers that have failed to hit their mark at Chelsea. The funny thing is that there are no Chelsea strikers outside of this list. Not any one that instated themselves as a renowned EPL striker. The whole thing was built around Drogba who turned out to become the biggest beneficiary.

--------------------------------------------------------------
Kezman - Dud,overrated! Failure to produce anywhere else shows this

Mutu - Cokehead abi na Chelsea system introduce am to cocaine?

Crespo - Wasn't a failure at Chelsea! 20 goals in 49 games is hardly a bad return! Sure beats Torres's

Carlton Cole - Hahahaha a universally acknowledged bust na him you list as one of your proofs that Chelsea system isn't working!

Shevchenko - Did Mourinho even want him? Aside from that he was almost 30 and also didn't get much playing time

Pizarro - Had little or no playing time! Was a backup option

Di Santo - Another bum! You can't keep blaming the playing system with bums like Cole and Di Santo for goodness sake! These guys wouldn't hit water if you threw em off a boat

Torres - The biggest flop of em all

Sturridge - Even with limited playing time he scored double digits in the league! Yall didn't give him a chance to prove himself because of the elephant in the room (Torres)

By the way Pizarro was 3 months shy of his 29th birthday when he was acquired

If Alonso does not win this year he might as well shut up! Because no car out there is faster than the Ferrari

Consistency would decide who wins this title. 4th isn't too bad for SV though that puts Kimi in striking range and despite winning only one race he's always been there or thereabouts

nateevs: Well he doesn't. You are entitled to ur views. Just like others are when they counter-ask about Ba's performance.

And yes, it's got every thing to do with every thing.
Ba's performance is on Ba! I don't see the sense in combining it with Torres! Ba has scored 6 goals since joining a new team within half a season! This same Torres could only manage 1 goal within similar timeframe so comparing both of them still puts Torres on the shorter end of the stick

Torres has spent 2 and a half seasons at Chelsea and its still the same story. With Ba the jury is still out!
