Roland17: Billups and CP3 are back yet they were sodomized by the Heat...
Yes first game in how many and you expect them to be back to top form!
Incase you forgot the Heat are the defending champs with Lebron playing outta his mind

Roland17: Can OKC go on winning streak without KD? i would say maybe, better than the Clippers would
Can the Heats go on a winning streak without LBJ? i would say yes
Can the Spurs go on a winning streak without Duncan or Parker? yes of course, infact they do it often..
I would like to see OKC,Heat and San Antone going on winning streaks without Durant,Lebron,Parker and Duncan for 12 games bearing in mind at least 7 have been on the road (in a row)

Roland17: Can the Celtics go on a winning streak without Rondo? we are already seeing that.
The only good team you beat in that stretch are the Heat the Lakers don't count grin grin the other teams you beat have a combined record of 48-100

Ol boy calm down nau! Their best player has missed 12 of the last 14 that's like OKC missing Durant,Heat missing Lebron,Spurs without Parker

Also, not 90% percent. I meant to say most away games.

RuuDie: The fans are the architect of whatever misfortune befalls the team... The issue with chelsea us purely psychological. How do you expect the psyche or morale if the team to be high when they can't determine if the fans are for or against 'em!!?
Same situation post-mourinho; JM apologists willed, prayed and even fasted for Grant's failure just to protect the "sanctity of their so called special one".
Now, it is Rafa; nothing he ever does is good enough...meanwhile, the root cause isn't getting any stick - Abi Una dey fear am!?
When the team wins, you scour heaven and hell for what to attribute the victory to; when they lose, you suddenly remember rafa and Torres. The sooner y'all realize its all about the interest of the team first over any individual, the better.
The fans?? Hahahaha!! Are u for real?? You mean the fans where happy and jumping for joy when JT slipped and missed that penalty in Moscow
The average fan is fickle! If Benitez was not such a flop you think these same fans would not be singing his praises now?

nateevs: Even in the midst of all the madness, some people insist to be the voice of reason. Thank you sir.
The same 16th-minute happy clappers at the bridge are the ones who come back to say Rafa cannot motivate the team. Yet at the same time wonder why Rafa has won 90% of his away games and only won one home game.
Do you mean league only or combined? Reading,Swansea,Brentford,Newcastle.West Ham! All draws or losses? How does that add up to 90%

Ahh that beatdown was epic!! I think we are seeing a balanced team now with no one trying to do too much and that's how it should be! I did mention that in Rondo's absence some guys just have to step up and at the moment that seems to be the case. Over time we would see if Rondo's absence is a blessing in disguise

As for Kobe I just think he doesn't respect Dwight! When asked about his tandem with Dwight compared with Shaq his response said it all. I think Kobe needs to remember it took them 3 seasons to finally win a title. With Nash its different because that one show am pepper for Suns.

occam: Oh yes, the big one. The most exciting match up in basketball or even in all sports. Maybe Barcelona vs Real Madrid is more intriguing

Anyway, I say Celtics win because:
- KG is playing championship ball and nobody to challenge him with Howard & Gasol out. Dropped 27 on Raptors last night
- The Celtics back court of Lee & Bradley have steeped up with Rondo out. They've hardly missed Rondo

Ok need to get my court-side seat asap. In front of my TV of course grin
-
No Rondo,No Gasol,No Howard that game has lost some edge for me

occam: Who can stop the Heat? They've been under the radar all season. just cruising. Last night's match vs. Houston confirmed they may be unbeatable.

In the East nobody can outlast them in 7 games. The Pacers? perhaps. In the West they own the Thunder and the Spurs are no threat. Grizs? Clippers? nah

Can The Lakers beat the Heat? Don't look like that now, but if they get to the playoffs, despite all the drama...hmnnnn
I don't think the Heat are unbeatable. They are the best in the East but they are not unbeatable. A healthy Knicks team would push the Heat all the way. Problem is they would potentially have to beat the Bulls or Celtics or both to get there.
The Pacers can to if they get Granger back and Roy Hibbert plays to the size of his contract!! In recent years I've not seen a player challenge LeBron like Paul George has this season on both ends of the floor!!
The Heat are still a horrible rebounding team and get pounded regularly by any team with a decent frontcourt

occam: Feelings are meant to be hurt. No big deal. Kobe and Shaq loathed each other but played hard together to win. Howard should just shrug off Kobe's rant.

Staying with the Lakers is Howard's best choice of winning a ring. Plus, money wise only the lakers can offer him the max $111 million. Other teams can only give $80 million as per the CBA
If Dwight was smart he would be patient. Unless he simply cannot handle pressure which is what I fear might be his problem. He has never had to deal with so many injuries in his career before and that bit of self doubt tends to creep in after such beating. The difference was deep down Kobe knew he needed Shaq and respected him! The mutual respect was there. I don't think he respects Dwight enough not that its a bad thing as he hasn't earned it quite yet. To be fair
Dwight's numbers have not been horrible 17pts and 11 rebounds per game. That's above average for any center not named Shaq in his prime. Plus Kobe has taken over two times more shots than he has (bearing in mind Kobe is yet to miss a game)

Aww man! This Akpasusu thinks I'm ducking from him. Hahahahaha my goatee is laughing at you

Sagamite: As I said, I would still nail this person irrespective of whether he answers or not, I was just toying with the fool to expose wha pussyclat cretins like him are like when they come under the Sagamu fire. The same foool that was beating his chest and screaming his toughness started running like a pussyclat person when the Saga questions that ruthlessly test assertions starting rolling out of a transcendental brain.
You have not asked a single question that I haven't sliced, diced and made you swallow your own vomit! Don't confuse my silence for what it aint I just got bored muchacho

Sagamite: Lets go through the genesis of his idiocy.

This fooool said Nottingham was a bigger club than Arsenal, because (1) he is one of the cretins that are so wowed by wins and records as it is more simple for a low brain to comprehend than to do a full analysis and (2) because he did not bother to check records as his brain is so limited that Arsenal has been very dominant in the English league. Sagamite is not one of his beer parlour moorons that will throw moronic conjectures that
"Arsenal is shyt because they have not won anything in the last X years". He was just moronically wowed by a CL win.
Correction 2 CL wins! Hehehe later you would say someone didn't check records
Dominance in your league counts for squat in Europe!!
Lyon won 7 league titles in a row tell us how many CL Finals they made in that time?
The Champions League is so hard that since they renamed it no team has retained that title! Only a chronic ode like you would compare local champions to European champions

Sagamite: The person said "You become a big club by winning and winning consistently". So when I told him that actually Arsenal was a far more successful club locally than Nottingham that just had a flash in the pan under a good manager. The foool realised his folly and decided to moronically dig his heels in by stating a moronic criteria for his analysis, i.e.:

A club is great by the CL they have won.
Arsenal are local champions! They can never be bigger "in a football" sense
Not till they conquer Europe

Sagamite: Now when you are at the beginning of a drowning process and you panic, you are setting yourself up for a sinking. The cretin did not realise that (1) the biggest clubs do not always win or win the most and (2) mediocre teams win, that is why people with fine brains always do detailed analysis and utilise complex criteria for complex problems. Only simpletons use simplified and moronic criterium because it is simple for their little brain.
High-falutin grammar with nothing to back it up. Hanging with me has improved your vocab I see. "Criterium" hahahaha da phock is Criterium? Olodo Rabata! Criteria or Criterion. You learn more than just football from me gee!
The biggest clubs win the most trophies!! Why is Madrid still the biggest club in Europe?? Why is it not Barca even with their recent dominance

Sagamite: So when I stated to him that Liverpool had won more CL than Barcelona and Man U so does that imply Liverpool is a bigger club? The drowning moooron was bamboozled and decided to shift by saying "number of CL win does not matter, only the fact you have won it once does". The person does not know this is Sagamite, you give a criteria, it would be tested. grin
I said they where 'peers' look up the meaning of peers. I would love to see your O and A-Levels result in English grin grin

Sagamite: So I now asked him a simple question, does that mean Steaua Bucuresti and Nottingham who have won the CL once are as big a club as Barcelona/Man U/Real Madrid?
The person is now intellectually cornered and knows if he answers, he is fcked. grin
He says yes, he is fcked because he looks like a complete mooron. His moronic assertion of "winning and winning consistently" is proof.
He says no, he is fcked because he looks like a complete mooron. His moronic assertion of "number of wins is not relevant" is proof.
So the cretin starts to run from the question. Pussyclat! grin grin grin grin grin
This is why I said big is "relative" I even used the Bill Gates vs Bernie Ecclestone (both billionaires but one is over 20times richer than the other) to prove my point it was so simple I'd expect even a caveman to understand it but alas you are not even as intelligent as one

Sagamite: person, that is the outcome of moorons like you setting criteria without engaging your brain. Now take out your notepad and jot down the education of how to assess the might of a club. It is a complex issue that requires a complex metric to justify an attempt.
Go home and crash! You don't have a complex bone in your body

Sagamite: - What has been their performance on the continent in the last 10 years (wins are not critical, reaching semi-finals or finals is good enough).
Which of these criteria not criterium grin grin does Man City,Tottenham,Leverkussen,Schalke meet?

Sagamite: - What is the quality of their local league and how dominant are they in it in the last 10 to 20 years.
What is the dominance of Man City,Tottenham,Leverkussen,Schalke in their league over the last decade or two? How many league titles have they been able to winhuh
2nd,3rd,4th doesn't count please! No one wants to remember who finished 3rd in the Old English 1st division 34 years ago

Sagamite: - How many world top players have they been able to attract to play for them in the last 3 or so years.
Any team can attract top players if they have the mullah!! Players go to where the money is more often than not. That doesn't make them big!! Its the achievements they wind up with that makes them either remembered for success or failure

Sagamite: - What is their fan following and how strong is their financial muscle.
Transient things! QPR and Man City have financial muscle. They are not big clubs

Sagamite: - What is their general achievement in terms of awards and wins.
So why do you tag Man City,Leverkussen,Schalke as big clubs

I have pulled your skirt up again and shot you with your own bullets if you had any honor you would quit now.

Sagamite: Then fucktards like you would not end up having to moronically say publicly that Nottingham Forest is a bigger club than Arsenal or Pro Vercelli is a bigger club than Parma, Atalanta and Udinese.
Are you saying Parma,Atalanta and Udinese are big clubs?? Bwahahahaha
We dey mention clubs you dey mention Atalanta!!
Atalanta ko Alanta ni. Bwahahahaha
No title yet to win $hit!!

Parma doesn't have a domestic league title so if we are to take your infatuation with league domination into account then they are also not a big club grin grin

Udinese a big club? No league title? No European title? Bwahahahahaha

With your own arguments I still make you look like an utter klutz!! This is too easy man

Sagamite: The beauty of having Saga doing analysis for you is that the criteria is not static, it is also dynamic unlike your cretinous criteria. So if Nottingham Forest starts dominating and winning CL again, they WILL look like a bigger club than many clubs using that criteria. Clubs that were only big in the 60s will remain only big in the 60s. Clubs that are big today, will be big today.
Watching you make a complete f00l out of yourself repeatedly ad infinitum is really a beautiful thing to see. So can I get an Encore?

Sagamite: Let me give you a postgrad education. If you are comparing 2 clubs and they are drawing or it is tight, then extend the years e.g.
You can't give what you don't have doofus!

Sagamite: Take this as a slaughtering and free education from Sagamite. .......Your wonderful GOD!
You will NEVER, EVER be able to step to Saga Saga when it comes to analysis or anything involving using the brain! I get PAID for using my brain for high-level analysis (that are above your head) for the top firms in the world, foooool!
Paid?? In what? Pesewas?? You idle pile of dung that doesn't even know the difference between "criterion" and "criterium"
You are a critter grin grin

JeSoul: You just gotta love Kobe lol. See his words:

"We don't have time for (Howard's shoulder) to heal,"

"He just wants people to like him. He doesn't want to let anyone down, and that gets him away from what he should be doing"

"(Howard) has never been in a position where someone is driving him as hard as I am, as hard as this organization is," Bryant told MacMullan. "It's win a championship or everything is a complete failure. That's just how (the Lakers) do it. And that's foreign to him."

Chei! see as Kobe just finished him. Lol. One has to wonder how much more Dwight can take before he explodes and makes his own comments in public...Lakers Soap Opera is pretty interesting this year.
I don't know if Dwight didn't do his research on just how ornery Kobe could get! Kobe also plays with injuries so people tend to listen when he talks. On this issue he does have a point especially as Dwight has still not committed himself to the Lakers going forward so he has not endeared himself to the members of the team who probably see the possibility of him leaving in the off season anyway! However I do sympathize with Dwight in the sense that his shoulders are the most important part of his game. They do the most work and receive the most punishment from the opposition! Its easy to tell people to suck it up but not everyone has the same pain threshold

debosky: Dunno what comprehensive failure means in this age of hyperbole, but this is how I read it:

Performance in the league has been more or less the same as RDM's as my previous analysis showed - give or take some points. I don't know if folk would consider RDM's league performance before his sacking as a 'comprehensive failure'.

Performance in the cup competitions has been poor (so far) - eliminated from CC, failed to win WCC, but still in the FA and Europa League.
Was he brought in to maintain the same level of performance or to improve on em??

Mandzukic,Gomez are around already and Lewandowski is not a significant upgrade on either of them plus Nils Petersen is doing pretty well at Bremen and should return next season if Pep wants him.
