@Eldee
Is the door completely closed on the H-2-H league cos I couldn't join before the league started when I tried to.
Same thing i was trying to ask the muchacho i really don't get how they handled the FPL this season. Anyways Tubaba oops i mean Tubabie how iz you?

Unfortunately, 'not bad' isn't good enough at this level. This isn't the Scottish league or Kano Pillars (apologies to all concerned).
Liverpool is a BIG club for BIG players. Cole may be past his prime ,but he's better than Aquilani on current form. Please forget what woulda been. A bird in hand as the saying goes. . . . . .
If average joes like Lucas Leiva and Jovanovic are in your team i dont see why Aquilani should be out of place. J.Cole is past it while Aquilani when fit is a very good player y'all need his creativity in that middle and your over-reliance on Gerrard and Torres would likely bite y'all again

Who are you kidding? We all know how much you can't stand the kid. And if Diaby's goal did put a knife through my heart then i must have just one stab wound while you have three. I didn't see you salute him on Saturday. He might be the worst player to you but on his day he is one of the most brilliant and dynamic players we have at the Emirates.

Better players have come to the EPL and have ended up being flops plus the Prem has not been to kind to Brazilians. He can be the next Messi?? Haha ok ooh i don hear lets wait and see nau

Hughes should just give us Schwarzer jor. His 2nd Choice Stockdale doesnt look too bad a keeper for their level wink.
That guy is way better than even Fabianski that has more experience at this level. Why is Wenger so poor at spotting good goalies??

@Vieira
Thank you ooh! I thought i was the only one that thought Diaby could use some work. I have always insisted he is a slow-thinker with the ball and his hesistancy does us more harm than good and this has been consistently displayed against the top sides or teams that simply do a better job of us closing us down. He slows down our attack and actually is an average dribbler that thinks he can dribble

As for those idiotic MOTD commentators can they tell us how often even the best of wingers get the better of Ashley Cole and Patrice Evra??

@Duduspace
I am sure every Walcott goal yesterday was like a knife through your heart and i assure you if he stays fit you would witness more of that!

Omo wetin happen to Villa nau?  huh shocked shocked.

Ibime:
99 points with Rooney, Evans and Ireland left to play. . . . cant believe you guys slept on Walcott this week. . .  grin grin
Ibime:
Nothing lucky about picking Walcott. Wenger always picks him against teams who leave enough space to attack the leftback. What would be the sense of picking a defensive option like Eboue against Blackpool of all teams? I predicted hattrick for Walcott and he delivered.

BTW, I played wildcard last week and FPL is still allowing me to play wildcard this week. How is that possible?
I am Walcott's biggest advocate on this forum but even i didn't even expect him to score a hat-trick. I must say you where quite observant the thing is he can be a real goal-machine if he decides from here on out to actually shoot at the keeper rather than always trying to square the ball even when there is no one in the box

Cristalz:
You were lucky.  .  .how often does Walcott get a hattrick??

I noticed the double wild card thing last week and made a comment here.
Guess I was the only one that had seen the way they pluralized their info/instructions on wild cards.
That wildcard is mainly an advantage when you want to make wholesale changes (6-10 players)so i feel for anyone that is being miserly with theirs! If your team sucks you might as well use it now

When did Aquilani become a 'good midfielder' ? undecided

Joe Cole is much better and purposeful has much more experience & has won things.

Prior to joining Liverpool, who knew who Aquilani was?? huh I beg limit your arguments to Masch, who will be a loss to the club definitely but not Aquilani.

And its not Roy's fault when a player decides he's had enough of the club. angry
You are horribly wrong!! While i think he was overpaid for he is definitely not bad and you would sorely be missing his guile in the middle. Joe Cole is past his peak and there is no doubt in my mind y'all got the shorter end of the stick in the Benayoun-J.Cole transfer. A fit Aquilani would give you more creative options than what you presently have

Quite impressive and a testament to the strength in depth we're developing through our academy. That manure team had Cleverly, Macheda, and Fabio, 3 players with first team aspirations at manure this season but were comfortably beaten despite us not having players like Barazite, Watt, Coquelin and Sunu available. Where is Sauron to come start eating his words.

Wellington Silva is a talent worth waiting for, can't wait for the time he finally completes his move in January. That chap will glue Theo's backside to the bench full time, its not every day a 17 year old makes an impression in the first team of a brazillian club like Fluminense, he and Wilshere might be the lynch pins of Arsenal in the coming years, injuries permitting.
It is because of results like this that Baba Fergie is going after players like Bebe, even he can project into the future and see what we're building. A bit of a pity most of our own fans can't see it.
Lets keep beating them in Reserves while they keep beating us when it counts.

With Wenger's track record of buying average joes or outright flops from Brazil i wouldn't be holding my breath if i where you

It seems Wenger is getting desperate.

Why try and sign a risky option like Squillaci for £6m, when he could have spent £12m on an established centre-back like Kjaer and give himself peace of mind?

If £6m is all he has, there are loads of CB's in that price-range better than Squillaci eg Majid Bougherra.
More like clueless. . . And it gets worse every season

fantababy:
Dear all,
I need you candid advice.

I met my fiance last yr April through a mutual friend. I live in canada, while he lives in Abuja. We spoke a lot over the phone and we fell in love with our personalities. We are both 27 but am older than him wit 4 months, but he said he does not mind.
I told him ahead of time that I was on the fat side, and he said he does not mind, that he is more particular about the inner person. We exchanged pictures and got along very well.
He proposed 3 months after and I was hesistant saying yes to someone that I had never seen. I prayed about it and eventually said yes. We agreed to see ourselves in August 2009. I asked him what he thot of me, and he said I actually beat his imagination. Physically, he did not meet my expectation at all, but as a christian, I said looks does not matter, it is the heart that matters.
I sincerely love him and I know he does. But he is not satisfied with my looks. Between August last yr and this yr, we have seen 4 times and each visit, we spend quality time together. But the issue is that he keeps complaining about my weight. Everytime we chat or speak, he is always so particular about if am still on the diet and if I exercised. I have been on a diet and joined a gym. I have come down from a US size 14 to size 12.
I told him he was putting so much pressure on me and he shld stop asking me about my weight.
Before our introduction in April this yr, I asked him if he was sure it was me he wanted, he said yes but that his fear was I wld eventually look older than him.
Just last weekend, he complained that some of his friends saw  my picture and said I was fat and look older than him. He said he felt bad and that he does not want this to happen again. That I shld make sure I exercise everyday and loose the weight before November.
Our wedding is in Dec, and we have made all the preparation.
I do appreciate his honesty but I do not feel comfortable with a man that cannot appreciate my physical attributes. I have had weight issues since my childhood and have learnt to manage it.
I am a very pretty and well endowed lady and I receive compliments all the time, but all my fiance says is that am FAT!
I feel like calling it off, I cannot live the rest of my life with someone who wld be a constant reminder of my weight issues.  cry
I have not picked his calls since Sunday because I feel so depressed. I have lost all my confidence and I dont even feel pretty anymore!
Pls advice me on what to do.
Dump that your Fiance as fast as you can and i am not even joking!! Most women in your shoes need all the encouragement they can get!! I don't know a single woman struggling with weight that is not self-conscious of her body and for your dude not to realize that it means he just doesn't care! When babies pop out you would most likely gain that weight back and then what??
There are a lotta guys out there that love a thick soul sista better go and find you one

Na small small e dey start, when we spoke of Wilshere, some people said we didn't know what we were talking about, now you see Wilshere starting at Anfield with Theo glued to the bench. Capello didn't take Theo to World cup but said Wilshere and Gibbs are interesting young players to look at for his new look national team. No worries, you will realise what some of us have seen since last season by this time next season.
Arsene Wenger prefered starting Arshavin as a striker for weeks when he coulda loaned any decent striker from other clubs! He also started Lukasz Fabianski in a crucial UCL knockout phase game! Anyway its not your fault but for Pepe Reina's butter-fingers you would not be yarning this megedefegede. Its not hard to see that this man is clueless! Ashley Young did not make the WC too so he must be crap right?? Like i said till Wilshere and Gibbs perform consistently they would be consigned to the growing list of Wenger's academy failures.

duduspace:
In the same vein, if your Mr Theo is so good, why should a converted RB in Eboue be starting ahead of him? That is the million dollar question you cannot answer.
Listen to yourself now, who is sounding desperate? how many attackin players started the match again? and was Diaby an attacking player on the day? abeg if you no get point you don't exactly have to type.
A converted RB who has constantly been deployed as an attacking midfielder?? Arsenal.com even lists him as a midfielder! Obviously Wenger is the only one that thinks he is the next Garrincha. Is this not cluelessness??
Chamakh,Arshavin,Eboue,Nasri,Wilshere all started in front of Diaby. If Theo was that useless why did he throw him on when he knew we needed a goal?? Why is he usually the go-to guy when we are in need of offense in drawing or losing situations. Abeg park well if you no get wetin to yarn

duduspace:
Well you need to ask the same Arsene  whom you say is clueless what was going through his mind when he made that decision. All I know is Wilshere has nothing to be ashamed of in his performance on the day and there are a thousand and one reasons why a player can be subbed I wonder why you are fixated on one.
He was subbed because his presence in the team was adding nothing. He was average and didn't do much on the day! Lets still watch and see but as for me mehn i am not buying that Wilshere hype just yet
