This was shared by an Instagram blog, Gist Merchant, the singer’s latest baby mama is one Larissa Yasmin Lorenco better known as Larissa London, a UK-based make up artist born and raised in Angola. According to the post, Davido might have been dating the lady since 2017, because she was pictured in the background in a viral picture of the singer and American rapper, Card B. Davido is denying the woman and the child as he blocked her on so she has no access to him. The post on the Instagram page of the blog reads: “There have been rumours floating around for a while now of Davido having another child. I’m here to confirm the gist and give details. Meet the newest baby mama Larissa Yasmin Lorenco A.K.A Larissa London. A make up artist born and raised in Angola but moved to UK and have been in David’s life since 2017 (swipe to see her in the background of his picture back in 2017). He sure knows how to shuffle these women at the same time. She went off social media when the rumour initially started and have only just returned to posting again. She posted the above picture to make it seem like she is still pregnant so as to confuse the timeline meanwhile she already delivered a baby boy back in March and this is an old picture. This is her second child as she already has a daughter. The hook up that resulted in this pregnancy happened in NewYork Mid last year (Summer ‘19) when David was back and forth in US first for his second daughter’s birthday, then a brief Euro tour, back in US for Memorial weekend show, next in Nigeria for his first daughter’s hair product launch and then back in US in June for another show in Philadelphia and branched afterward in NY to give Larissa belle before moving on to ATL for the rest of his trip. Larissa was also with him at the Afrofest Portugal that happened back in August of 2019. Davido is currently denying the baby and blocked her so she has no access to him. He is trying to save face with the Chef Chi. For a while now things haven’t been rosy between them and they have been living apart but with this news now, trust them to come together and do photoshoot, pressing breast and sharing tongue to convince us that Chivido is still going to happen. My guess? Chivido is dead in the water. Fingers crossed. source: https://insidenaija.com.ng/2020/06/08/davido-might-have-welcomed-his-4th-child-in-the-uk/

The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control(NCDC), said on Thursday, June 4, that Nigeria is is not using rapid Covid19 test kit because it could produce false results. NCDC made this known via it verified twitter handle yesterday, it said the test kit used in testing for covid19 is not rapid test kit technology because they are not reliable and could give false results. “Nigeria is not using the rapid test kit technology to test for #COVID19 as they are not reliable and can produce false results”. Recall that, the NCDC Boss, Dr. Chikwe Ihekweazu, during the presidential Task force on covid19 press briefing, yesterday said, covid19 patients would be discharged without testing negative after they have stop showing symptoms. According to Dr. Ihekweazu, any patients that is symptomatic who stop showing symptoms would be discharged after 10 days from the hospital but are advised to self isolate in their various houses. He added that, data obtained from Singapore shows that, patients can only spread the disease if actively shedding viruses, and from studies this has been shown to stop after about 10 days.

Following new data obtained from Singapore that shows that RNA detected beyond 10 days is no longer infectious as no viable virus is grown by viral culture, the Nigeria Center for Disease Control(NCDC) said Covid19 patients will no longer be required to test negative before they can be discharged. Director General of NCDC, Dr. Chikwe Ihekweazu, who made this disclosure during the presidential Task force on covid19 press briefing, today June 4, in Abuja said, patients showing symptoms would be discharged as far as they stop showing symptoms, they would have to be in self isolation at their various houses. He also stressed the issue of Personal Protective Equipment(PPEs), he said, both public and private hospitals to procure their own PPEs and factor it into the cost for healthcare delivery “There have been new science emerging about the duration of infectivity of individual patients. It led to the WHO issuing new clinical guidelines. “We then convened colleagues across our organisation, the department of hospital services of the Federal Ministry of Health, as well as other colleagues with whom we work, to review our guidelines and issue new guidelines for the country and of course adapting it to local circumstances. “The key thing is that the management of COVID-19 will be made primarily supportive; we don’t have any treatment so far that has any proven impact on morbidity. “One of the major changes that have happened is the discharge criteria. While these guidelines are obviously and primarily targeted at physicians managing patients, it is important that patients and people know. There are two groups of patients – symptomatic and asymptomatic patients. For symptomatic patients, they may now be discharged at least 10 days after symptoms onset and at least 3 days without symptoms. If your symptoms last for longer, we will wait for longer managing you supportively. “If you are asymptomatic, you can be discharged 14 days after your first positive test. So, we no longer have to wait for a negative test to discharge. This way you can go home with confidence that you are no longer infective and you’re not putting your family and friends or anyone else at risk. “We are not encouraging that people be discharged while they are still symptomatic. We are talking about discharging people that are asymptomatic and have recovered. That is, you are symptomatic and have recovered or you are completely asymptomatic throughout your clinical episodes. “At that point you really don’t need more clinical interventions, even at home; you just need time to recover. It is just like you recover from any other illness. You don’t need any special intervention once you have been discharged. “Change is difficult because we have been saying you have to have the negative test. Even though we have published these results, many physicians are still not using them. We can assure them and everyone managing cases that 14 days after, in fact, 10 days is what the evidence says. “But we have added 14 days to make it two weeks for people to then implement discharge for patients that are asymptomatic.” He further added: “In addition, we have also removed the use of antivirals from our treatment guidelines. The trial for Chloroquine and Hydroxychloroquine will go on. “We are asking that we limit the use of these medicines to those trial settings and not use them casually around the country. Let us reduce the use of Chloroquine and Hydroxychloroquine and all the other antiviral previously on our guidelines to contexts where clinical trials are going on. “So, we have withdrawn them from the guideline from management. However, we have kept them within the clinical trial so that we can study and see whether they work or not. That is really the rational approach to this.” He said, “Our hospitals both public and private, really need to include the purchasing of personal protective equipment in their procurement plans. These are things that they have to buy to keep their hospital going. “What we are doing now is simply a response to an outbreak – managing logistics, sending around PPEs across the country. This is definitely not what we should be doing as a country. So, that has to change as we refigure our health system to include this. “Yes, these things are expensive but you have to include it. Healthcare can become expensive but whatever the cost, it has to be factored into the cost of delivering healthcare. There is no point in having a doctor or a nurse working if they cannot have the personal protective equipment that they need. “We need to push harder as doctors, nurses, medical lab scientists, to ensure that there is running water in our clinics, and insist on these things. “Patients are encouraged to ask questions of their doctors when next he or she wants to attend to them without a face mask or hand glove.” Source: https://insidenaija.com.ng/2020/06/04/covi19-patients-will-now-be-discharged-without-testing-negative-says-ncdc/
