The general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God(RCCG), pastor E. A Adeboye says what he said annoy only those that are not his church members. Adeboye send this message to his critics in a live church broadcast service through the church's Television channel on DSTV, Dove Media on Sunday, July 19, 2020. According to him, if possible he would restrict his activities and sermons to only members of his church. The clergy said this in a sermon titled "from lockdown to lifting up", on Sunday, he said the lockdown has made open doors for everyone. However, Adeboye urged his critics not to be angry about what he said, saying they are meant for his children. In his words : “As a matter of fact, if there is a way of preaching this sermon just to my own children alone, that is what I would have done. Not because I’m selfish but occasionally there are things you say to your children that would annoy outsiders. And you keep on saying, but I am not talking to you, I am talking to my children. But now, the lockdown has made the door open to everybody. “Some people see the glory but don’t know the story. Some people see me and say all kinds of things. It’s none of my business, I don’t need to answer you; I just need to keep on riding high with my king. I’m talking to my children, so others should not be angry with me. Before you take off, consider your landing.” Source: https://insidenaija.com.ng/2020/07/19/i-am-talking-to-my-children-dont-be-angry-adeboye-tells-critics/ |

They can also cause infertility and even death. Early diagnosis with surgical removal is very essential. A woman might think she's pregnant. She may tell you she's been pregnant for 3 or 4 years and has not delivered. But she's not. It's not pregnancy. A Twitter hacking scheme which targeted high profile users such as Elon Musk and Barack Obama began as a prank between a group of three hackers, according to a report. The biggest attack in the social media platform’s history began with a user named “Kirk” who bragged to two teenagers that he worked at Twitter and could access even the most high profile accounts, according to The New York Times. One of the teens lived in the US and went by the online name “lol,” and the other, who lived in the UK, used the online name “ever so anxious.” The UK-based teenager denied working with “Kirk” to take over accounts belonging to Joe Biden, Bill Gates and others. The hackers posted messages on the accounts suggesting followers make thousands in bitcoin “donations.” “Based on what we know right now, we believe approximately 130 accounts were targeted by the attackers in some way as part of the incident,” Twitter said. “For a small subset of these accounts, the attackers were able to gain control of the accounts and then send Tweets from those accounts.” Authorities are still trying to figure out the real identities behind the Twitter monikers of the hackers. Kenya police has arrested a prison warden for allegedly rapping a COVID19 patients in a health facility he was supposed to be guardian, on Friday, July 17, insidenaija can report. According to report by Kenya police that got to insidenaija, it was the latest in a string of incidents highlighting substandard conditions at some government-run coronavirus treatment centre in the East African country. The attack may add to fears over treatment in government facilities that health experts have warned may deter Kenyans from coming forward to be tested for the new coronavirus. Earlier this year there were several breakouts from quarantine centre amid bitter complaints about inadequate food, water and hygiene from those kept inside. In March, authorities said they were investigating a reported suicide at a quarantine facility. The latest incident occurred at a centre in the western border town of Busia that was guarded by both police and prison officers, according to the police report seen by Reuters. It said a colleague had noticed the prison officer talking to a patient, felt uncomfortable and left to alert other officers. “They heard noise and commotion coming from the women’s ward,” the report said. "They (officers) rushed there and found all the patients outside and complaining that the prison officer was raping the said lady patient. "Health officers were summoned. The officer has been disarmed by senior officers from prison and quarantined within the facility," it said. Police spokesman Charles Owino had no comment when called about the incident. Governor Nyelson Wike of Rivers State has been urged to handover former Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission(NDDC), Mrs. Joy Nunieh, to the police. The state commissioner for police Joseph Gobum Mukan, who made this disclosure while speaking with Journalists in his office on Friday, said the governor who claimed that the security operatives had no arrest warrant took the former MD under a protective custody in the government house in Port Harcourt, the state capital. According to him, governor Wike alongside with some of his security details had earlier planned and successfully rescued Nunieh from her resident in Port Harcourt on Thursday, claiming they came to arrest her and took her away from security operatives. Mukan noted that offers from the Inspector General of Police had earlier contacted the Rivers State Police Command for endorsement before proceeding to the residents of the former NDDC boss. The commissioner further stressed that the action was legitimate and is inacted by the law, describing governor Wike's action as unfortunate. “It is really unfortunate because under normal circumstance if His Excellency (Wike) is saying that he went to rescue her, he is supposed to turn her over to me because I am the Commissioner of Police on ground and I will be in a better position to take her than for him to take her to Government House. “Nobody said he should not protect his citizens, but everything should be done within the confines of the law. “So if you rescue your citizen, we expect you to turn her over to the police who are in a better position to protect her. I still believe he is going to turn her over because the exercise was legitimate. It was within the confines of the law." soirce: https://insidenaija.com.ng/2020/07/18/handover-e-nddc-boss-to-us-police-tells-governor-wike/
