EgunMogaji: Vibrated blocks are the best for a reason and is often called for in architectural designs.
The only reason that we consider handmade blocks in Nigeria is due to the economic condition we find ourselves in.
Either handmade or vibrated, the composition of material (ratio of cement/sand/water) is important as well as is the mix.
Good luck on your project. Thank you. |

Please i want ask if there is any disadvantage using hand moulded blocks instead of the one done by machine. And what is the durability and beautiful touch it brings if handled by a qualified bricklayer. |

feelamong: Officially you can invest as little as N1000. But because of the paper work involved and for the fact that the fees u pay to them is very low, most banks and discount houses insist on a min of 100k to N1M.
If you are interested send me a mail to feelamong@gmail.com ..I will introduce you to a friend in a discount house. pls what is the minimum rate to invest, and which bank or other place is the best now. |

kopell: Is nice to short those people that never have anything good to say about their Country, may be many of them can not see beyond their noises. Because of the way many countries branded theirs. Flooding is not peculiar to lekki or Nigeria alone. Everyday people write shit about their place of birth, do you guys even know how many people been killed in USA every hour? In Chicago alone, I believe the killed more people then in a week then what boko haram kill in a month, when they are not even in war. That was only Chicago alone. How many of those do anyone of their citizens or big media house report. Talk of the entire USA, where guns are sold like candy in most places. Pls enough of this negativity about that country, I'm not saying everything is ok oh, but every county as it own internal crisis many people may not know, and will never know. Many of those countries will continue to brand their countries as the best, I can name few like Brazil and others. That is how it is we blame government for everything, a person that dump waste on the road, spoil road with party food, clog rivers would all blame govt, without thinking of there own pathetic acts, althought govt is not saint, but individuals are the main spoilers of those little amenities. |

rotecch77: We lack mentainance culture in nigeria, all we want is build and collect rentage. same as our road here You cannot give what you lack, just like the erosion and pathetic rainfall damages in Nigeria, it happens in some states too in US but there are efforts and plans to curb them, in ibadan i wont lie many resident dump dirty things on waterways or during rainy seasons without thinking about how it is going to clog the drainage system. The problem with people is that we blame govt for everything, but who are those actually destroying properties, roads, drainage, street lights they are all normal citizens. |

SmartMugu: I just disagree with his points, and thought it might be a post from someone hurt when he lost his girl to someone abroad and chose to write something to show his hatred for folks living abroad. I don't even know of people importing women from Nigeria anymore, most that did it ended up regretting the idea later in life. So, who has the time to explain credit profile, job history etc to a girl in Nigeria when everyone knows most of them would jump at the opportunity to relocate with you? I just disagree with the criteria he's suggesting for women. His writeup will probably break some relationships if the girl is that gullible to believe everything he said, who knows. let them understand, i taught am the only one that disagree wuth the op, because some of the point her do not relate to every individuals living abroad, and in credit it is needed, but how to use it wisely should be the issue not castigating it, the writer should not misinform others. |

Lexusgs430: Our politicians don't do mortgage. They just present a debit card and swipe the whole $400,000 That is my point exactly, for any person who is not a naija politician to buy the house, you still need the credit, but what i dont understand is according to the op for we living in foreign countries , to date a lady in naija we must tell them all our finances, how is that possible with the manner of girls in that country, God forbid bad thing. |

JennieCutie4U: you are right bro... with what's happening these days, every girl needs to be wise. Gone are the days dat 'Abroad bobo' was the in or the reigning thing. its even better to marry a home based comfortable guy that will give you peace of mind than abroad bobo that will always give u headaches nd heartaches... So abroad bobo is a curse right, because am abroad so ladies i ask out should reject me, that premise is for those living fake life, whereas if you are presently living in any of this western countries i no the issue of credit history would not be a strange topic . It is needed no matter how, but i do not support using it for unnecessary spending that may damage one credit score or bankrupcy. So i would not agree with your analysis of abroad bobo my sister. |

Lexusgs430: If one can be financially disciplined, it's fine. But most people think they are/would be financially disciplined, till the credit card debt overtakes them..... Yea been Prudent in spending is the watchword, but no matter how one need the credit card let say for house buying or can you just pay cash for 400,000 dollar down for a house, unless you are one of those politicians who stole peoples wealth. |
Romance › Re: Ladies, Ask That Abroad Bobo These Before You Marry Him. by abbeyboy2o15(m): 6:20am On Apr 12, 2017 |
Lexusgs430: Good point raised. Take the credit card to build your credit history (don't go on a spending spree largess). Pay your credit card balance leaving very low manageable debt. Once you get the mortgage, pay off balance and cancel credit card. That is just it one need it, but for important things like house, no electronics and unnecessary things, i was given one recently at a popular electronic store but i objected, simply because i can pay cash. For instance that day i went to buy a laptop which was 944 plus tax, the suprise was that they beg me to put down payment of 500dollars out of 944 dollars, which i objected because i have my cash, an in that same place a family payed for down payment. So it all depend on individuals, because it still needed in the long run. |

Credit is part of American society, unless one chew more than is mouth it can be acess without falling into debt. I agree that one should be prudent in spending, but is not compulsory telling a girlfriend my balance who does that, even peeps in Nigeria cannot allow that. Being focus and knowing what you want and not following the crowd is important in U.S, no problem telling a lady my job, but i do not agree with some of your points, because one want to marry/date a lady should not mean all your life issues and secret would now be written or told . Ladies of nowadays are parrot, so if a guy is serious with a lady he is going to share what is important with her, but been in America does not equate to being bad or not trustworthy. In the credit card case i cannot count my times banks, stores do bother me with them to get one, i prefer paying cash which they do not like, but is better than falling into debt. As i said earlier i do agree with some of your point, but not all, if you live in America it wont be difficult to understand one need credit in one way or the other. It help those who are not wasteful spender in the long run. |

Lepetitechic: Things that would be useful to the newly weds and are still polite enough to open in public( in my opinion). Glassware(breakable plates, cups etc), silverware(spoons and forks set etc) blender, fans, furniture set, electronic devices( TV, dvds, refrigerators etc). You already buying a gift is a big deal, so choose what best fits your budget. okay thanks for the kind options, see i have not done one before and the guy is a close friend, was thinking of cash and something else. If someone has done one before it would have been much easier.Anyway, thanks for the option you provided above. |
