If you did, they have the grounds for refusal.
If you didnt, then they do not. I suggest the following:

1. If you withheld information from them, then appeal and plead ignorance. The estate account does not appear to be a personal account, is it? You can simply say that you ONLY included accounts which was a single account in your name and not a joint account, as you believed that joint accounts did not qualify for submission. Try and search their reqiurements and find statements that supports this statement.
2. If you didnt withhold information for them, then appeal and state explicity while you think you didnt withhold information from them. Use bullet-points to state your points.
3. Appeal as well, perhaps on the grounds of this being your first offence, or first time of international application, you were not aware of all the requirements hence the 5 years ban is too much. You did not flout their rules intentionally.

But these will only be possible if they allow for appeal of visiting visa. I am not sure they do. You need to do your research on this.
Be HONEST with your appeal and include all evidences as much as you can.
With visa applications y'all NEED to be HONEST about everything you write in it. If you are not sure, write, "I am not sure". Dont go the Nigerian way of assuming answers. It will come back to bite.

OP, also add that they should consider your appeal on compassionate grounds and promise to always get the proper and current information in dealing with VISA requirements.

FUTA Suspends Students involved in Bullying Mate off Campus ,Promises Stiff Sanctions

The Federal University of Technology Akure ,FUTA has suspended the students involved in the bullying of a female student in one of the off campus hostels on Saturday November 16,2019 indefinitely from all academic and related activities even as it continues with investigations into the circumstances that led to the odious and unfortunate act. In effect the suspended students are not to be found anywhere in or near the Federal University of Technology Akure.
The University deplores such behavior and reiterates that all those found to be culpable will be visited with the full weight of the law under the extant rules and regulations governing Students behavior and conduct off and on the campus at the conclusion of investigation being carried out by the Students Affairs Division.
The University Management is providing medical and counseling support for the affected student.
The University reiterates its abhorrence of any action or behavior by students that are inimical to the well-being of others and will continue to sanction students who run foul of its rules and regulations.
For the avoidance of doubt only students who are worthy in learning and character can lay claim to and be addressed as FUTA students

Onitsha tanker fire, a terror attack —IPOB

The outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra has said the Wednesday Onitsha tanker fire disaster was a terrorist attack.

In a statement by IPOB’s Media and Public Secretary, Emma Powerful, the group said the consistency with which such mishaps happened in the southern part of the country had clearly shown that they were being executed by certain persons.

While sympathising with those who lost their loved ones and property in the inferno, the group said nobody should be deceived that such incidents were mere accidents.


It wondered why such incidents were not happening in certain parts of the country where even the owners of such articulated vehicles allegedly hail from.

The statement read in part, “With a profound sense of deep sorrow and sadness we commiserate with all the families and communities that lost loved ones over the terror attack in Onitsha on the 16 October 2019.

“This is not the first time an articulated lorry or a tanker laden with inflammable liquid has been involved in mass fatalities in Onitsha or other parts of Anambra State.

“The story is always the same, its either their trailer had brake failure or their tanker exploded, all resulting in massive loss of lives and destruction of individually owned businesses.

“We the Indigenous People of Biafra call these callous and wicked acts for what it is- a cowardly terrorist attack designed by those evil men determined to exterminate we Biafrans from the face of the earth.”


It added, “This massive loss of lives and businesses in Onitsha is most unwelcome.

“Why must tankers driven by northerners always explode in the south or the brakes of their trailers always fail in Biafraland? It is time now for our people to wake up to this new reality of population reduction.”
