I have read a lot of people being confused about what a Direct and Indirect Primaries is and I decided to explain in a lay man term.

Direct Primary: All card carrying party members votes in thier preferred candidate. Eg, State by State Voting.

Indirect Primary: There is a delegated authorities conferred by every state party members to vote on behalf of all.
