I just figured out why my Mi 8's battery was a disappointment: the poor glo network on band 3 was the culprit. That was probably the same problem I had with my rn7's battery. Everyone kept praising the battery capacity on those phones yet my own kept struggling to do 10hrs unsupervised.
Mi9t is a fine boy - the smoothness of the network is sweet

SaintUlot: I am not new to os tweaking, but i am new to xiaomi phones, this my redmi note 7 is my 1st xiaomi phone, what I learnt so far is that xiaomi has a lot of protection on their phones, which could make things go awry, this is my learning phase, that's why it's important for me to learn from other people's experience. MTK devices are flexible to tweak anyhow, apart from xiaomi phones being a qualcom device, xiaomi have put protection such as anti-roll back, long bootloader unlock wait time and edl authorisation in place. All these pose several difficulties, i will become a p ro with xiaomi devices soon. Very inspirational! me I Shaa know that the only way you people will make me start all this tweaking stuff is if you dash me extra phone. Apart from the threat of a hard sand brick, the headache of momentarily disabling the phone is too much for me. Me that my patience is near zero. Before I'll become that guy who restarted his phone during update and was now begging for forgiveness. I will just be crying |

steppin: I'm not making it sound, it is what it is. I've used other phones and I've never had this problem. I like the phone, but this is a huge turn off for me. I've switched off the phone like you suggested, whosai. Resetting to factory settings will fix the phone but, it would be my last option. I'm open to other ideas. app closes when trying to upload. errm... is it tge same thing with dropbox or drive? |

Oh, really Joeysage: The redmi note 8 pro is better o, but not obviously because of the mtk SOC. The mi9t is however more battery efficient it seems, so ignore the larger battery. But raw performance and camera quality goes to the rn8 pro. |

Very crazy something. There is even a port and wire for both the 6.35mm and 3.5mm headphone jacks if it has active noice cancellation, I'm sold. Wait, it doesn't even matter sef, I'm buying it anyway. Charging headphone everyday has become annoying, especially when I don't do more than 4 hrs on average |

This doesn't even make sense. So if your last phone was Xioami there's a rule that says the next must be something else. Which xiaomi phone? How long did you use it for? Have you tried the Xiaomi thread store? Apple's face unlock is far more advanced. I don't think it makes such mistakes especially now that face id is the primary (abi only) biometric option they hhave |

Once u sleep, a third party can easily unlock Ur phone. Umm, yeah. madgoat: The face unlock on this xiaomi na die. Its so responsive just like the fingerprint sensor thank you jere! its like the thing is haunting your face; it snatches it up the second it appears. Another frustration of the A50.. face unlock works like it cannot be bothered to do its job. Almost always feels like you're knocking on your own door, begging ur housemaid to pls open the door. Okay, it's not that slow but it's slow enough to be a source of annoyance |

I'm not disputing that Huawei is better. Maybe it has an edge over xiaomi in some respects, maybe those differences are enough to sway your opinion... All that's perfectly fine and acceptable as your opinion. However, as evidenced by the second space availability, among other things, Xioami is dominant in other respects and it is objectively NOT miles off from Huawei as your posts seem to imply. I think I phones are better product overall and I can certainly say that but it'll be fairly uneducated of me to speak about xiaomi like it's merely an unfortunate second. Summary: you can have your opinion but it shouldn't come with alteration of facts paradigmshift: meaningless talk. I only expressed my opinion and the next thing, u n co entered heat period. na crime to express opinion? I used Huawei b4 n it is better than xiamoi, dem no be mate. if that is what is hurting u, sorry o. u can easily enter the second space by tying the password when unlocking unlike the guest mode in Huawei. i have my reasons for sticking to the second feature in xiaomi. |

If Huawei is so exceptionally awesome why would you not use it and put up with guestmode. Instead, you have chosen to forgo all the awesomeness of Huawei to put up with all the faults of Xioami just for one feature paradigmshift: it can't compete with the second space . you can enter the second space by just hitting the password and boom you are in unlike guest mode It's like calling one person olodo and the other one brilliant boy, yet you still carry the olodo to represent your school because she delivers. When would you start reviewing your labelling criteria? |
Phones › Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by abdsamad(m): 12:16pm On Sep 13, 2019 |
If emui has guest mode, why not use that paradigmshift: if there is an app tell me o. i don't think an app can do that bro. you can enter the second space by just entering the password in the unlock screen. i doubt an app can do it.. if you get any idea, let me know sir.. |
Phones › Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by abdsamad(m): 10:52am On Sep 13, 2019 |
If second space is the problem, just download an app that can do that. I can help you search for one if you want. A lover should not be kept apart from their beloved paradigmshift: when i said i think you can unlock the bootloader on Huawei, it was cos i saw a few videos on youtube. i would have even preferred the new OS so they can dump shitttty google. i don't care about the bootloaders been locked or frozen. i buy a device for my daily drive and not unlocking. I love Huawei like that, unlocked or nah. they still lead, yen yen yen. Bye Anthonia |
