Admist all this update update noise, it occurred to me: could one not just simply download the update file and do a manual update like I do on ios devices? Would that require an unlocked bootloader or any of the other technical stuff.

Lol. We're in the same ship bro. Mine is Mi Band 4. I already gave up hope few weeks ago. Besides, I don't even want the band anymore. 24 more days till I open dispute and get my refund. Will be going for a full smartwatch when I get my cash back, or maybe a decent digital watch. Mi band is just a fitness band - I may have been swayed by the insane popularity and great TBH, but what I actually want is something classy and smart - not a band.

-open multitasking screen
-long press the app window
-select the third icon
-the option will be right there staring at you

-go to settings
-scroll down to "manage app" line

The aluminium part is peeling off... Bt it is very small shaaa.
And the camera is sharp o bt the colour is dull. I used Samsung a30 before I had a terrible accident which destroyed the screen and the glass for the camera at the back.. the selfies from a30 is richer than that of mi9t. Maybe it has to do with the saturation sha.. bt the colour is dull

You either have a defective unit or you've tampered with the settings. The cameras on mine work almost too well

It is inside the case that came with the phone. Have an idea how I can get a case that would cover everything?

I've seen some 360degree cases online but I've never looked into them. That may be a good place to start

My umidigi uwatch2 finally here, this choice exp is damn good. Better adult look than miband4. Better strap with an additional rubber strap if you don't like the chain type.

Cost & flexibility offered by the band.

The only upgrade by the bip over the band is form factor, gps and a few other bells and whistles which still doesn't justify the price parity.

I was actually kidding; I do understand their differences.
Me I'm Shaa enjoying the bip. The persistent display is a life saver.
Battery behaves like it's infused with immortality juice.
The button has changed the way I interact with music.
Pretty neat "bells n whistles" which totally justify the price

I'm pretty sure that's not possible. It's like opening the phone, you can close it back but you can't un-open it.

All I ask is for xiaomi to do copy and paste from oneplus for one feature: "the quick toggle icon to switch data Sim."
That's the biggest thing I miss about oneplus.
I know I can go through the mobile data icon but nothing beats the single button approach..

I give up jere. Whenever Xioami likes they should send the update. Nothing particularly exciting about it from what I've read so far
