Using road as a form of democratic dividends shows our standard level of primitiveness. In a saner terrain, any government that uses this shabby achievement as a form of democratic dividends will be duly stoned. We should be above this!

Every man and woman should work assiduously to be a person of the words used to describe the former President; 'Our consolation is that he led a good life and above all, he left his indelible foot prints on the sands of times. He was undoubtedly a great man, a worthy and an exemplary example of what a leader should be".

How Do I Convince My Wife?

Hi everyone, I will try not to make this post a lengthy one.

I was born into a Muslim family and raised as a muslim. My wife met me as a practicing Muslim way back 2005 when we were both undergraduate in one of Nigeria's federal Universities. Recently, i started losing interest in religion, started seeing it as a source of division among humans ( like Muslims attacking Christians and vice versa). The idea of people burning in hell and some people enjoying in paradise makes no sense to me if God is really loving as claimed by theists.

But my wife is not comfortable with my religious views, infact she has started seeing me as hellbound ( don't blame her though, a true Muslim hardly marry from other religions talkless of marrying a freethinker like me ). I can see that the love she has for me is gradually reducing simply because I chose not to hold any religious views. I have no problem with her religious views, sometimes when she is far asleep, I will wake her up in the morning to observe her solat.

How do I make her understand that I can be a good husband to her without having any religious beliefs ?
The only thing she reads about are stuffs pertaining to Islam, she hardly read about science or other non religious topics. She is one of the people who believes that no human can be morally upright without having the fear of God or subscribe to religious ideas.

Just of recent, I thought of leaving Nigeria to any western country so as to be able to live my life peacefully without anyone questioning my religious views or tag me as an infidel. But I can't just leave everything behind just because my woman is not comfortable with my religious views and has been quarrelling with me on it.

How do I make her live with me peacefully without her feeling uncomfortable? Has anyone experienced this before ? How did you manage the situation ?
Mr Op sir! I would like you tell the kinds of books you had read concerning unrealistic aspect of Allah and His Noble Messenger.
The books were also read by others and nothing has happened to their religion. I used to call Socrates because Allah endowed me with the knowledge to understand Socratic method of elenchus. Sir! Let's do some critical reasoning to solve this problem.

Inasmuch as a lot of lagosians have soft spot for Jimi Agbaje, his lazy disposition towards politics will always make him a loser.
Agbaje should qualify for the most laziest politicians in Nigeria. Consultation he won't do, publicity he won't do, mobilization zero, spend money...he won't, the scammer will be expecting money from his presidential candidate and party.
You'll find more of an unknown ADC posters in Lagos than Agbaje's
He only come up every four years to wipe up ethnic sentiments and anti-tinubu propaganda, lose and fizzle out then re-appear in 4years to continue the vicious cycle.
Despite the political structure of Lagos favouring Sanwo-olu, he has been everywhere campaigning and building bridges and political capital.

Even God rewards hardwork.
Sincerely, you have said it all!! As though we shared the same mind.

Aside from specific occasions when the moon will disappear and a search party will be sent to go and retrieve it, most of these other holidays are almost sacrosanct and we do not need special announcements to observe them.
Independence Day
Boxing Day
New year
Christmas
May 1
Etc

Have you ever wondered if you are indeed doing the right thing when it concerns Christmas celebration?

Have you ever taken your time to research about what you have been celebrating right from the day you were born? Have you questioned if Jesus Christ was even born on 25th of December or are you just going with what the world has been led to believe?

To be honest, I used to be that way until I came of age. Have you? When I was a kid I believed in Santa Clus and Father Christmas but obvious you know now that those are simply myths. Well, so as many things you believe and practice blindly today. I used to even believe their were three wise men who came to great Merry when Jesus was born. Research guys, it is a lie.

Well, leader of Free the Sheeple Movement, Daddy Freeze has asked those celebrating Christmas to stop fooling the world into believing it’s Christ’s birthday when it’s actually a pagan god, Nimrod’s birthday.

The Controversial On Air Personality was reacting to a video where an American pastor, Brother Benx disagreed with Christmas and Ester celebration stating that there was no biblical documentation to back up such dates.

Daddy Freeze added that birthdays are pagan rituals under pagan gods and not of Christian origin. He went further to add that Christ never celebrated his birthday or any birthday at all.

His Instagram post reads:

You can’t just conjure up a date and fool the world into believing it’s Christ’s birthday when it’s actually Nimrod’s birthday that coincides with the winter solstice of the druids and pagans.

Christ NEVER celebrated his birthday or any birthday at all, so why bring him into your pagan rituals and under your pagan gods?

At the request of pagan ruler Herod Antipas step daughter Salome, at his birthday party, John the Baptist was beheaded.

Birthdays are of pagan, NOT Christian origin! Celebrate your birthdays all you want, JUST KEEP CHRIST OUT.
See a bit of evidence of your specific occasion

You have missed the question with your aforementioned examples of The Glorious Qur'an. All these are interpretations of The Noble Qur'an by many interpreters for people who can't read and understand Arabic as a language of this Noble Book. I have one which you didn't mention. They are not the ARABIC TEXTS of The Qur'an but translations for people of other cultures.

I implore you go a little line of history to have facts and factual information of the fundamentals of your so call specific occasions. The simple conclusion of your total research will only tell you how pagans had concocted all their efforts to have a permanent and future control of what you have taken as your "special"which apparently didn't have a modicum of space in the former.
