I agree with you on some points. African women are born with beautiful shapes but a lot of them let themselves go when kids come. It is the duty of both the husband and wife to stay fit and look good for each other. I am very athletic and it is my creed that I will always stay this way. I also expect my future husband to get in the gym and look good for me.

I am sorry but thats bulls**t. I met a yahoo boy not too long ago who lied to me about what he did to earn a living. I thought he was a better professional man, within 2 weeks of seeing him, I knew things were not right. He was always at home, anytime i used his computer to check my e-mail, i would see files of different peoples credit card numbers and their social security number. I would ask him, why do you have strang e people's credit report on your  computer, he would start stammering saying that he does not know how it got there, that it must be one of his friends who pulled it up. I also saw different people account numbers on his phone.

The couple times i visited him, i always held onto my purse, so no one will use my details for identity theft. Trust me Eyo, there are signs you pick up on around a yahoo boy. Needless to say, immediately I was sure of his deviousness, I told him to lose my number and never contact me again.

So many girls are blinded by dirty money, not knowing that KARMA is a big B***h

I come from a family of hardworking professionals. I myself am a independent hardworking professional. There is no way in this world i can date a thief, which is the way i see yahoo boys. When you get up each morning to go to your workplace in order to pay your bills, there is no way you can respect a man who steals from other people for his daily bread. It says a lot about you and your upbringing, that you will  allow yourself to"fall in love" with a yahoo boy.

IMHO opinion, China would turn out to be a more beneficial ally to nigeria than the U.S

The US is a relic of the past,they cant compete with China in global influence by 2025. I dont see why we think the US is all 'that',maybe for the large number of nigerians driving cabs & working at Pizza Hut and Dominos Pizza ova there.  

The USA will always stay relevant dear, best believe that. Be careful what you wish for or you might just get it. China is a very very racist country; at least the US has a big mixture of black, white, hispanics, native Americans etc that have intermarried and are living in harmony. China on the other hand has no respect for other cultures or ethnicity's because they think their short asses are superior to everyone. Black professionals living in China find it very hard to find jobs, Job ads in China on numerous occasions will state "this job is for whites only, no blacks please" Are these the kind of people Nigerians want to do business with? When they bring their businesses to Nigeria, they will ship in a whole lot of Chinese people to work in their offices because of how much they detest blacks. Not that anything is wrong with this, however any foreign company that wants to do business in Nigeria must hire Nigerian workers.

Why hasn't the govt. given all those Muslims  in the North 7 days ultimatum to stop practicing Sharia Law and follow the law of the land? Let me point out to you that Libya has a population of 6.3 million people while nigeria has a population of 150 million. Libya can afford to turn their backs on the U.S, Nigeria cannot afford to do that.

This is not all about Umar's actions. The U.S has been monitoring the situation of Kalo kato and Boko Haram, now that Umar has done this deed, you can expect Al queada to make attempts to start requirting in Northern Nigeria. Point your finger at the correct people for this predicament we find ourselves in.
If I was among the powers that be in America, I would suggest a blacklisting of Nigeria too until the Nigerian Government does something to curb all the religious riots and extremism in the North.

Are you really suggesting that we go ahead and break diplomatic ties with a country  that we need more than they need us.  Also why wont the treat us like dogs when the Islamists in the North are giving us a bad name? do you think the U.S is not monitoring the situation in the North, with all the bad news and religious killings we read on a daily basis.  When Muslims in the North start behaving like normal human beings, then we can all work together to  create a better image for Nigeria. In turn we will be rewarded with foreign lucrative investments, tourism e.t.c which will boost jobs, and our economy.

I think the problem with a lot of the other ladies who disagree with this issue is westernanization. My mother is a Trinidadian who has been sucessfully married to my Nigerian father for 35years. She is a strong willed woman but she understands what it means to be submissive and play the role of a good wife. I am a Yoruba Nigerian girl who has been living in the U.S for 11 years however I have not forgotten my culture or how i was raised. If women took care of their husbands needs both in the home and in bed, there would be less running around by Nigerian men.
