RomanceRe: Please Guys I Need Your Views: What Might She Be Thinking About Me by Abekeade08(f): 1:24am On Jan 24, 2010
@AbekeAde, your advice was just what I tried   to do for one week and I could not sustain it. As I was just typing this response she called me and I raised the issue, she said that she will give me a response very soon.  But I am already cutting down on communication between us to mitigate the damages in the event of worst case senerio.
Onyema,

I tend to agree that you are a pawn in her hands as mrprsdent said. You said ,
and I send her gifts and render other financial assistance.
You have to face reality that this girl is eating her cake and enjoying it at the same time.

Women are very intuitive, I know each and every one of my guy friends that like me in a relationship kind of way. I might act all surprised when they make there feelings known, but the point is that I have always known. This girl has been playing with you all along and she does not want you in the way you want her.  No woman takes even one month to decide if to enter a relationship with a man talk less of 6 months. You are not getting any younger and you seem like you have a good heart. Shine your eyes well well, or else you will just waste your time and end up getting hurt.

I would never fight over a man, pure ghetto rubbish.

If i have to fight over a man, it just means he cares nothing for me. SMDH.

Guys should be fighting over girls, not the other way around.
RomanceRe: Are Men More Faithful Than Women? by Abekeade08(f): 1:00am On Jan 24, 2010
I dont know why the men are so sensitive over this issue when they're the ones who like to boast of their multiple shinings.

In a random sampling of say 500 men vs 500 women, which group is more likely to have a higher percentage of unfaithfulness? Huh

especially if both groups being sampled are Nigerian.

this isnt a secret nah.
Thank you tpia, I don't know why naija men are trying to dispute this issue. A lot of Nigerian men cheat, end of story!

I can only pray that I don't marry a cheating man or else there will really be FIRE ON THE MOUNTAIN.

RomanceRe: Why Do Men Find It Hard To Love Their Women In Relationships? by Abekeade08(f): 12:41am On Jan 24, 2010
I love my wife with all of my heart.

Reason:

- We were very good friends for over 2 yrs, both matured and ready to settle down.

- Because we were good friends right from the onset, I never lied to her and she exacly knew what she wanted in her man and found just that before we got engaged.

- There is no such thing as pride in our relationship . . she lets me be when I sulk and vise versa. So either one finds it really easy to say I am sorry and truly mean it.

- We both ironed out our differences before we decided to get married. So if I'm not going to allow something as a married wealthy man, I started rejecting it ever since I was poor and single.

- We truly care about each other - we want to make us happy

- Here is the number reason: A woman that knows she is truly loved will readily give her eyes for her partner. That is the kind of commitment I want and get from my wife. If you truly love your wife / husband, you will not cheat on them and have extramarital affairs or kids outside the marriage. I added my wife's name to all my accounts without her knowledge and gave her my atm card and two credit cards. She then personally decided to her work cheques paid directly to my account. It is easy for your wife to love and trust you when she knows you are a responsible man and you devote all your attention to your family.

I am almost forty, lived with my parents for over 20 years and never saw my dad cheat or raise his hands on my mother. Of course my mother gave him her all and everything else. So why should I want my own to be different.

I am truly blessed to be married to this woman.

Love your wife truly and you will enjoy the fruits of marriage.
Wow! what a man. Your wife is truly lucky. Good on you bro, hopefully, some of the egotistic naija boys on NL will learn a thing or two from you.

Onyema,

Naija guys like you are rare. From the story you have posted, I will say your friend does not feel the  same way you do for her.  That you have known her for 7 years and she is taking this long to respond, tells me that she does not know how to turn you down. The only advice I can render to you is that, you should cut off all communication with her. Let her miss you and your presence in her life, maybe this will help her reconcile her feelings for you. If it doesn't then, you have to move on and find someone else who will appreciate your strength, dedication and loyalty. Good luck.

RomanceRe: Pls Advice! I Like Him So Much by Abekeade08(f): 5:43pm On Jan 23, 2010
There's this guy i'm already falling for. We used to be hi friends b4 he travelled broad. Now he's married to a whitey n has a daughter. said he did it just to settle over there. When he came back last yr dec, we started dating.we talk every day. Rite now i'm so into him. Don't know want to do. I don't wanna loose him. I know he cares about me also.
You had better stop falling for someone else's husband. If you do succeed and he does the same thing to you, which he will (cos, he is a confirmed cheater), you will have no mouth to talk, because you took him from another woman. Girl, respect yourself and get a single guy to date in naija.

Why are naija girls so notorious for dating married menhuh chei nasty a*s home breaking skankiness

He wants to be worshiped by the wife, silly thread.
Just so outrageous to me that someone actually thinks this way in this day and age. Maybe he is just trying to get a rise out of women on NL.

the bible says sarah called her husband Lord (I Peter 3:6) "Even as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him lord: whose daughters ye are, as long as ye do well, " Smiley and i think in Africa it isn't proper for a decent housewife to call her husband by name - whatdo you think?
Which kin wowo yeye post be this? Why can't a woman call her husband/partner by his name. Na wah ooh, these bobos don see women finish?

Pix: https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria?action=profile;u=453686

Description of pix: Blue jeans trousers and white top with double D ti.tties calling for me.

Says to me: [A female friend invites me to a party, went with a bunch of friends but can't find the flat after parking, she sends one of her friends to come and guide us. We see her and my friends start whispering] "Oh shite!" "Ki le leyi (what is this)" "Olorun Oba (God Almighty)" "Dam buroba (Speaking in tongues in Hausa that I don't understand)" [I just had to play the JLS anthem, so I went] "Everybody in love, just throw your hands up" "Everybody in love, just throw your hands up" "If you are in love, just throw your hands up" [All my niggas throw their hands in the air like if they are in a spiritual seance communicating with God. She starts to smile shyly] [Then my friends join in the singing and we all start dancing like drunkards in a circle round her. The party-starters just hit the joint, let the party begin. But I made sure I was the one holding her hands back to the flat]
Sagamite, God don catch you, cool someone clued me in that my profile was being reviewed.  You are quite creative with too much time on your hands. All the same, thanks for a nice review. wink

I be Ondo boi i cant give up my late nite egusi with pounded yam all cos of six packs, well pack is pack if i eat my poundo they will either splitt into 6 and form 6 packs or 1 big lump to make 1 pack.
If you notice a lot of naija men just have one pack sticking out on top of their belts. Its from eating carbs at all odd hours of the day. Anyway, you are still young and your metabolism is high, as you grow older though, you won't be able to get away with eating without getting a pot belly.

@Ebila, Ebonyeyes and I are workout-aholics. Unfortunately this is uncommon among naija girls. If I move home anytime soon, I plan on starting a classy gym chain in Lagos.
RomanceRe: Ladies, Muscular Men Vs Skinny Men, Which One Do You Prefer by Abekeade08(f): 10:52pm On Jan 22, 2010
Hey guys about how long should it take to develop a six pack? i'm already kinda trim and in shape but i just started doing sittups and crunches so how long should it take before i can expect results?
Hello kg, sit ups and crunches alone won't help you acheive a six pack. You have incorporate a lot of protein into your diet and cut down your carb intake especially at night. For example if you eat a lot of Pounded yam, eba e.t.c then you change your diet to amala, brown rice lean meat, lots of fruits and vegetables. Try and drink or eat protein bars pre and post workouts because protein encourages your body to build lean muscle.

Once you change your diet and incorporate a good workout routine at least 4 times a week, You will start to see results in about 3 weeks.

Good luck
RomanceRe: Why Do Women Lose Their Shapes After Childbearing? by Abekeade08(f): 9:21pm On Jan 22, 2010
@op, are you experiencing the same thing.

I am not married and I don't have children yet, however losing weight is hard as it takes a lot of determination and dedication. I am sure it is doubly hard after giving birth, as the woman's attention is mostly on their children at this time. If you are the one going through this, you can't be brash or harsh about her weight gain because women in general are really sensitive about weight issues.

Start a routine of taking walks/jogs together, going to the gym together, compliment her on her efforts and I am sure she will start to get the hint and want to get back into shape ASAP.
